Love this, no ones really pushing light weight larger frames, have messed with light weight 7 inch, but found its hard to tune out low frequency vibrations with the larger props. This is a great idea as everything can be specced right down to minimise weight ❤
Such an awesome frame. Great work. From my experience and lots of testing I find a 2507 motor is the ideal size for 6 inch. Especially when you want to fly with heavier 6S2P 6000mah 18650 LiIon. Unfortunatly 2507 1500kv is hard to find, so I tried rcinpower 2806.5 1350kv. It gets me 24 minutes of flight time and 24km total distance traveled with 6000mah 6s. Ideal LR battery is a lighter 6s 21700 pack. Feels more manouverable. Also like the gemfan 6032 props.
Thanks for the tips! Yes, The P6R frame has 16x16 and 19x19 holes, so people can experiment with the motor configuration, it will take a 2806 :D But I haven't tried it personally on this frame.
Build looks good I have tried to like lion batts going so so far as to make one with 21700 45A continuous, but I just don't like the flight experience. Any plans to show this with lipo? Not looking to freestyle with it, rather fast cruising
Oh yeah Richard, for sure. When I black box log it I use regular lipos. scroll to the description in the video and find the new Black box testing link. I’m using a 1300 tattu 6s there. I left the sound in the video, it’s Very very very nice to full throttle and sounds great. Super responsive for freestyle, but of course just don’t crash it. I have never done crash testing for p6r 😂
hehe I wouldn't fly it into a tornado if that's what you're wondering hehe. It's a 6". Does just fine, depending on your tolerance for what it is...But Check out my 2.5" in heavy wind. I mean, the type that blows your umbrella around, but not enough to go inside out: Raw DVR ruclips.net/video/f15u6Sm8X_E/видео.html
Truly an engineering marvel. You keep outdoing yourself and bringing unique and much needed frames to the drone scene.
Too kind Jon!

Congratulations, a unique frame in an interesting and neglected size and weight class. I'm looking forward to seeing a representative blackbox log.
For sure. That's on the to do list. I'll try to update when I can. Thank you for the interest!
@@PattyFlipz Especially with O4 on the horizon, smaller and lighter designs like these are more relevant than ever. Keep up the good work.
This frame look insanly good !!!
Thank you!!
Very Nice Patrick. I will make sure AddictiveRC has these in stock ASAP in Tucson Arizona USA.
Working on it now! I don’t sleep!
For this one I was waiting for! Hope I will be available 7,5 or 7 😊
hehe, maybe next time!!

Wow! Really nice frame!
Is it your home point at 0:56?
Thank you! That is the home point of just one of the location. Starting at the boardwalk scene and ending at the boats, not the other locations .
Were where you flying
This is the mountains in British Columbia, Canada.
Light with wind....I'm not sure....

Forgot to mention, the tune and kv choice matters especially for light frames (to fight wind). Thanks for watching!!
