Driving for 14 years of Toyota. I must said Toyota have evolved to a modern and respectful company. I am so impressed with the New RAV4 with TNGA platform (fun to drive and fuel safe) and TSS for safer car (prevent road accident).
First day listen to Akio Toyoda speech. So impressed with his great heart for car and society. Reflected in Toyota value:respect others and kaizen (改善).
    Kudos Toyota...Prouf of you.😍👍👏👏👏

Dealership model to sell your product means no direct feedback from customer. Dealer rips of customer by asking for markup and lies to customer. Don’t take custom order of your product because it’s not in dealers best interest. There bottom line is how much money they can make by giving worst experience to customer. I am a live example of that. Manufacturers close their eyes after delivering cars to dealer and dealer only see there self interest not customer buying need or total experience. Hate the dealers across all USA

I am student in US and have bought a new camry two months ago from woburn toyota mass dealer. But, after having a car first day, I have noticed an issue on transmission and have brought it back to dealer. They have also noticed that problem but couldn't figure out what is exactly it is. I have told from the first day that I cannot accept repaired car because I have paid for brand new car why do I have to drive transmission replaced car. They told me to drive few more weeks so they can call expert from toyota USA and I did so. Unfortunately, it lasted two months, and I could not work during these time period because of my job is Uber driving. I have been more than 30 times in service with not only transmission issue but also with the issue of warning of belt and car is stopping by itself. At the end last week, they told me that they would replace the transmission but it would take one month. I cannot work again a month and still they will give me repaired car for the price of new car. Could you please help me to solve this issue or let me know anyone who I can contact thanks
I have called but they hang on the phone to my face my phone number

It's not too late for Toyota to embrace electrification. It is the only way it can take on VW and possibly Tesla. But it has to find a different way to go about building electric cars. Solid state batteries is just one but most important is the lay-out of the electric motor. It will be wise investment to partner or purchase outright Elaphe Propulsion Technologies, which designs and produce in hub electric motors, which provide direct drive to electric vehicles. The space saved where the electric motors in conventional EV, can be taken up for extra battery packs. Toyota can pioneer these in-hub electric motors in Kei cars and vans, just to gain public acceptance to its EV aspirations. Toyota can then build trucks with batteries tucked in between its ladder frames. Imagine the advantages of direct drive in-hub electric motors.
