Not sure why there are no views here but Maston is in a league of their own now. They have such a wide variety of their music and their discography is robust. You can't go wrong sampling a little bit from every album. One of my all-time favorite tracks was a bonus track on Hunter called The Ruiner. It has some of their old sound mixed in with their new but polished to something divine.

A few of the mastodon band members used to work at junkmans daughter. Brent hinds, the lead guitarist and vocalist, is an absolute beast.
Mastodon is fucking epic. They used to do the screaming vocals, but after awhile they decided to actually try and learn how to sing. Now, the bass player, one of the guitarists, and the drummer all share singing duties, they've all got entirely different sounds and it's fantastic. High Road, Motherload, Steambreather, and Show Yourself are some great recentish singles.

MASTODON is based in Atlanta, Brent the lead guitar player/singer is from Helena, AL. MASTODON are in a class all by themselves.
The Drummer is a singer as well. Not the main vocalist but he does sing and he has a beautiful singing voice. I'm just going to get it out of the way now since I'm the first one asking about this song in this comment section. Oblivion/ blood &thunder/ steambreather/ show yourself/ Roots remain/andromeda. They are from Atlanta Georgia and they have 7 Studio albums and 2 ep's.
All of those are quality but if you guys ever do motherload go with the music video. Also stargasm if you want to delve into their more psychodelic side.
Do a reaction to Stargasm. I think long time fans often find that song not as good, but I think it´s one of Mastodons finest.
This song is about selling your soul to Satan for fame and riches.
Also, these guys appeared in Game of Thrones as White Walkers.
I hope to one day send y’all the picture of the drummer and he’s pointing at my pregnant wife’s belly and he was as so humbled and into the fact it was my unborn sons first concert! They’re so damn amazing. I have been following them since day one, they have never let us down as fans man!!
This entire album is absolutely amazing, could probably argue its their best one.
It’s an EP not an actual album but I agree, it’s a kick ass project, wish it was more than 4 songs.
Mastodon Monday! Chunky riffs, badass drums, and great production
They are absolutely southern. A band made up of everybody's cool uncles. Great musicians and all around rad dudes.

They are in fact based in Atlanta my guys! I know the guitarist Brent Hinds is from Alabama and the others are from upstate New York. But they are all southern now.

Any Mastodon song would make for a great reaction but I'd recommend Crack the Skye. The backstory is quite deep and the music is some of the best they've put out there.
