Great review! I love watching 992 Turbo S reviews, and I use mine for all categories; daily, commute, shopping, weekend drives and the occasional track day
Dude you are super cool. You explain things really well, and the way you speak is very clear and concise. You are going to be successful doing this. Best of luck to you.
Rented a 2019 targa 4 last summer. The driver position, visibility, acceleration were all superb. I cannot imagine driving something with 250 MORE horsepower! Must be insane!
Like the quality of video . As previous 991 Turbo S owner . I am enjoy watching your review . However I wish you could have filmed more pictures while the car is driving . Add some of your comments comparing between GT series and Turbo s . Already Subscribed
Good job…..very well done, class review. There are several sites that could take some lessons……the last 911 T I saw reviewed comes to mind. When they don’t know something, they just fill in the blanks…..how aggravating !
I am getting one but I am only driving it in dry conditions. No rain and snow winter driving. Summer I get caught in a thunder shower I will live with that. But every vehicle I ever DD looked like crap in 4-5 years. I will baby by Turbo S.....now I just have to decide on a color. If I go pts I will get some color of blue like ocean blue or basic color white or gt silver.
And something rarely mentioned.. You can't actually park it and walk away without worry. Oddly people notice 911s but usually leave t then alone.. In big cities.. They're kind of"coming".. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLaren's are Sunday Drives cars you only park for gas briefly..
very good point, for most people in the world, a 911 is a 911. They don't know, or care if it is a Turbo S, or a 4S, or a GT3. They just look at it as another Porsche.
@@carcaveofficial I like blue but GT Silver or white will be acceptable if I can't get a paint to sample slot. Thanks for the color suggestion I will check out Ice Grey Mettalic. I want something that isn't too bright or to dark really. A medium blue with hints of silver metallic would be great.
@@carcaveofficial Hello, Thanks for your thoughts and suggestion. I am strongly considering various blues. I like cobalt blue, ocean blue, yachting blue and will be going to my local Porsche dealership to check out the swatches in various lighting, ie outside bright sunshine, indoors in darker light etc. I just went into the Turbo S configurator and there is no horizon blue available at this time for the Turbos S.
The Yachting Blue is a rather unique color. All the colors you are calling out are the darker of the blues. The Yachting blue seems more like a grey in the renderings, but that cobalt blue is quite striking as well.....you are in a pickle sir. If you are open to lighter blue tones, Gulf blue is stunning as well!
I could be wrong but you look really tall and it seems like you fit well in the 911. Am I wrong? Also can you do a cayenne Gt turbo presentation? I really like your style and would trust your opinion
I am 6’2” and yes, I do fit well in the 911. It’s one of the few sports cars I can actually be comfortable in! I’ll reach out and see if I can get a Cayenne GT for a future video! Glad you enjoy the content
A 911 Turbo S will re-calibrate what fast is. It is by far the most violently fast car I have ever driven. From what I read the Cayenne Turbo GT is insanely fast too, just has the added usability of an SUV.
@@carcaveofficial for the money it is. They both about the same 0-60 times. RS has 575 HP the Z06 has 670 HP. I’m putting my money on the Z06. The 911 is an old boring body style that basically hasn’t changed since the 1960’s. And they are way overpriced. Then servicing one is a small fortune compared to a Corvette.
The 911 Turbo S has 640 HP, and has been tested against pretty much everything and won. Servicing a Turbo S isn't any more expensive than a standard 911, which granted still isn't cheap, but for a supercar it isn't unreasonable. The Z06 is a brilliant car, and inhumanly fast, I just think its a bit of a stretch to say its faster than a Turbo S...
@@carcaveofficial I guess it would boil down to the drivers also. The Porsche has the weight advantage the C8 has the price advantage. I’m not saying the Z06 would necessarily beat the RS I’m saying it’s a better performance car for the money. And just fyi I had my C8 HTC Z51 serviced, oil change and filter with trans change and filter.. $400. You can’t put wipers on a RS for $400.
I just wish Porsche had some RAWNESS to them. It’s so hard to beat the Lamborghini and Ferrari sound. And to me spending $250+ you want your soul to rattle. Turbo S is a cheap driver and unbeatable reliability but it just misses the rawness and always has imo.
Who gives a damn. 99.9% of all who have the $ to buy will never get one no matter what obscene thing you promise the dealer!! Given up on this model and brand!!
Almost double the price of a Tesla Model S Plaid and significantly slower. RIP ICE. You ruined the planet's atmosphere in the short 130 years we breathed your choking exhaust fumes.
Tesla is not as eco friendly as told. The battery itself is toxic. The interior is not as good as my $50,000 Camaro ss. The technology is not even as good.

It's the perfect all around 911!

That’s a bogus claim.

Congrats! What color did you get?
Agare gray!!
That's a good color man! At night it looks sinister...
@@carcaveofficialThey don't offer agate gray anymore in the Turbo S
Porsche. Kicking ass with tiny flat sixes for 60 years! Beeindruckend Porsche.
Hopefully we get another 60 years and they don’t go fully electric!

Much appreciated mate! Welcome to the channel!
Another great video!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Porsche 911 is not the fastest or the most exotic sports car but simply the FINEST.
911 it’s the best!
A good review and yes I drive mine daily.
As you should, thanks for watching mate !

It's so gas that Porsche actually UNDERSTATE their performance figures!!
They do it all the time
Love it ❤

Best car ever made

Definitely the quickest! But isn’t the GT2RS top speed higher?
You are correct. The GT2RS tops out at 211mph and the Turbo S at 205mph
I am ordering one but can't figure out the color, ocean blue, gt silver or white?????
You can't go wrong with GT Silver, but personally, I would get Ice Grey Metallic before I got anything other than GT Silver.
