It’s just lazy analysis to be surprised Colorado is good now. They brought in a ton of talent over the last 2 cycles from both HS and the portal. If you just look at the headlines it looks like a revolving door, but 90% of the guys that left both this year and last weren’t starters. They brought in 55 new guys in 2023, the backups left and they returned nearly all the starters that didn’t graduate and brought in an even more talented class this year. Per 247 they have most talented roster in the B12, and that’s understated because Travis Hunter plays both sides full time but his 99 rating only counts once.
Colorado is NOT "good" they are a 5-7 team who has played (and struggled) to beat an FCS school and 2 very bad teams 9colorado State, Baylor..which they were lucky to win)..UCF was only 3-0 because THEY play d New Hampshire and Sam Houston and a VERY bad TCU...Colorado was 3-1 last year at this time and finished 4-8....expect them to finish 5-7 this year at best
