Everyone freaked out about the offensive line after Nebraska. But… That was that unit’s first game in the most hostile road environment you can possibly think of. They could not communicate protections.. Knew they would get better as the year went on.

UCF wasn't good. Everyone who actually pays attention knows they aren't. They played Sam Houston and New hampshire to pad their stats and then were lucky that TCU collapsed. If CU beats KState who is a SOLID team, they'll get a lot of praise. KSU is one of the only teams in the country that has a lost that was truly self inflicted. They dominated nearly every aspect of the BYU game, but kept making mental mistakes that lead to BYU scoop and scores, or really, really short field positions. KState is the best team in this conference by a mile this year and if CU can beat them, they'll be legit CFP contenders.
Just hope Coach Prime staff sticks with the same offensive line unit that played on Saturday until there is drop off. Harden was really good at RG after that first penalty.

What people need to understand is Coach Prime Brought 12 kids with him from Jackson State. The haters insisted that they couldn’t play because JSU was only an HBCU. Colorado has 3 full time HOF coaches on their coaching staff. Not to mention that Coach Prime can have his players Video Chat. Brady, Ray Lewis, T.O, , Ed Reed, Devin Hester. No other coaches can do that. These HOF players are not just teaching football. They are teaching about LIFE. Utah lost to Arizona. Kansas and OKST look bad. BYU still has to play UCF, Arizona, and Utah. Irregardless of BYU's record... do you really see them going undefeated? Colorado's second half defense is giving up 7 points and has depth. The only thing that can question is the offensive line... we know what the offense can do!

The run was the difference maker. Who knew your offense could be more powerful when you didn't throw the ball 50 times. Also, less favoritism this year. The best players were out there playing. Let's just hope shilo doesn't mess up the defense chemistry because I know coach prime will risk a loss before benching his son.

People will turn in without T Hunter just for that reason. My goal before the N Dakota State game was 7-5 and a bowl game. If we have a decisive win on 12 Oct then anything under 9-3 would be a fail to me and I would want 11-1 and a Big 12 title visit to Dallas on Dec 7th. Could still happen if we drop the ball next weekend. We're getting better every week. #skobuffs!

Joel... I think Colorado should look at C.J.Carr a true freshman currently at Notre Dame but not in the rotation. He was number 2 behind Raiolia (Nebraska) last year as a 4 star on ESPN HS. QB poll. He has decent size 6'3 200lbs...he can scoot out of the pocket, has a good arm and looks down field. He will have a solid year of hard college practice under his belt from playing against Notre Dame so he could close to being ready for next year. As a past Colorado QB... take a look at him see if he can be a good fit Colorado next 2-3 years. Getting a 2nd 4 star ⭐ as your QB in 2 years is definitely a attention getter for the voters. Maybe Colorado should talk with the young man and get him in the portal👍

How are these so called college football fans mad about Colorado? It’s such an underdog story going on over there I find it way more interesting than the loaded teams like Alabama & Georgia. Typical shootouts from 4 5 star players, CU buffs is what got me watching college football because it’s actually interesting. UCF is a really good team and Colorado dominated. It was one of those games that the stars aligned for them. It's early in the season, so anything can still happen. In a few weeks, we may be back here saying what a terrible team Colorado is, and it was just a fluke that they beat UCF the way they did. UCF rarely loses at the bounce house, and they never get wiped out the way they did so this is a big win for colorado. It's only 2 games into the Big 12 Conference play, so it's early. We'll see what happens the rest of the way
My only concerns for this team going into the season was 1. Travis and Sheduer have to play 100/100 every game to win. Not realistic for college players. and 2. That offensive line. However Saturday was one of those Oh * Bleep * maybe that is possible games

Naw man Nebraska dline dominated. They were getting pressure consistently right up the gut. No QB under those circumstances would have thrived. And since CU is a predominantly passing offense....recipe for disaster.
They lost because it's a rivalry game and Nebraska was on a 3 game losing streak against CU and they were at home. It was a must-win game for Nebraska.
That D-line of Nebraska was no joke. I'm not sure if CU's O-line has improved, or if the Nebraska D-line was just that good that day, CU has made some O-line changes since that game though.
The only reason? Nebraska played BIG10 football and had a very good D-line and overmatched CU on many fronts in the game. Defense didnt shut down Nebraska in that game re: second half, Nebraska played possession football and controlled the clock.
If CU can beat KSU and AZ they will win the Big 12. Also the secret sauce to them winning is the running game, if they can run for over 100yds each game they have a chance to beat anyone on their schedule

Once you reach the upper tier of football, you can no longer out athlete the competition! Superior athletes with sound fundamentals are darn near unbeatable unless the other team is the same. But superior athletes who lack discipline playing lower competition that are fundamentally superior will lose!
CU needs to play Detroit Piston/San Antonio style from when they were playing low scoring championships! They were boring to watch for most, but you could count on seeing them at the end of the year playing for a chip. CU is that good but if they start thy boneheaded, indisciplined, hero ball again, they’ll get embarrassed!
