Zelda Movie: Live Action or Animated?? Let me know what you think.
Animated. These Studios always miss when it comes to live action. They have a better chance of nailing the characters correctly with an animated feature. By the way, congratulations on your marriage. Cheers!

Definitely animated.
I would also like a small comic relief scene with Kotake and Koume, but only if it can be fit into the movie without being a major distraction from the plot or making the film too long.
I hope it is only animated. Live action they would be sure to mess it up like every other love action video game movie.
Regarding Link as a silent protagonist, I believe that's one of the key reasons why so many Zelda games give Link some kind of companion character. (Navi, Ezlo, Fi, etc.) While the characters have obvious gameplay utility (reminding the player where to go and etc.) they also help drive the plot by speaking up and having conversations with characters that are more easily understood then the weird one-sided conversations you get with silent protagonist Link.
So for a Zelda movie, I'd like to see them do the same thing of silent protagonist Link and a companion character who does speak up, with Link only articulating words in a few select key scenes. (And hopefully we pass on any 'Well, excuse me, princess!' jokes.)

The story of the movie would probably have Ganondorf as the main antagonist since he is Link's arch nemesis. I would love to watch Majora's Mask as a movie since it is my favorite game of the franchise. But this would be a little to weird for non Zelda fans.
good god if they make a movie, link better talk. link isn't even a mute, he always talks in the video games, we just never hear him talk. only the characters in the game hear him. Lol
If Illumination will do like they seem to be doing with Mario and present a Zelda film with the proper tone that matches the games, then I'm all for it. But Zelda has a little more serious (is that the right world?) tone (although there's fun little jokes and stuff like that) and needs to be treated with more of a sweeping epic kind of thing. But most importantly, don't deviate from the narrative, because I would argue that component is a jillion times more important to telling a Zelda story than a Mario one.

Animated. The only option. Nintendo’s characters only fits animated. And if they are making one I’m goin to watch it.
In my opinion I prefer live action I don’t want Tom Holland playing link.

.... this has been a rumour and talked for about for years!! Like 10 years ago it was talked it would be a Netflix show or something. . So let me tell you this, unless you hear it from Nintendo this is fake as hell. Lmfao I'm glad I didnt waist any of my time watching and came to comment. This is just laughable.
