This was absolutely wonderful. I wish this was an ongoing series with the different species of Hyrule.
Man I wish we had a documentary like that on lizalfos.
@miningmole403 lynels would be very interesting, as they have almost like a code of honor. They don't attack until you do, draw your weapon, they draw theirs. And this might be a stretch but notice how when you kill one it seems to bow down, like accepting defeat.

Larry, you need to stop breaking Link's neck!
I guarantee there is group of Nintendo developers who worked tirelessly on this game who will watch this and have their mind blown by it. Fantastic.
For real, in TotK the bokoblins gor me confused. They have backpacks in which they put fruits like apples. They made armor to wear to be stronger. They cook. They domesticate horses. They attack humans mostly when humans come too close to their camp. And even when they have a human in their camp they imprison the human instead of killing them on the spot.

@@gif303 not the one for the Zora quest, if they just see you it will automatically start attacking you
I attempted to befriend one of the larger camps, it was one of those tree forts that you can find. it started out pretty good, I noticed that they had a lot of explosive barrels, and some were near the guard towers. seeing how the guards had fire arrows I didn't want anything to happen, so I took the liberty of moving all the barrels to one spot, the bokos seemed to see the barrels as treasure, so I put them all on the top of the fort with the other treasure.
Everything went well until the lightning storm, I figured that the barrels would be fine, since the boko in charge of guarding the treasure had a wooden spear. Then I learned that it was his turn to go hunting. one of the other bokos took his place, and chose a metal sword as their weapon of choice.
I did not notice the change of guard however, and had the bright idea to host dinner in the normal spot, guess where? that's right, in the treasure room, I heard the signature zapping noises, and I thought it was one of the things i was wearing. so I moved away, and started checking what I was wearing, the next thing I know... BOOOOM!!! just like that, the population of our fort went from 7, to 3, (two of them were still out hunting). I decided it would be in the groups best interest that I cleaned the mess up, and then left the tribe. I miss them very much.
😭😭😭😭
this is sad but fucking hilarious
I wish you had video proof, this shit would be absolutely gold to watch

where is that camp?
“Grey”, “Red” and “Larry” really cracked me up
Update; many years have gone by and I have discovered a new plant variety called the muddle bud growing in the newly found underground chasms. Its effects are known to confuse the monsters as to if their tribe is friend or foe, making them often turn against their own kind. I will continue to research this as I become one with the bokoblin once again.

I feel so bad for stealing all their food and running away after seeing how hard they work to gather food and supplies.
*Me who killed and murdered them without thinking* : 👁️👄👁️
That's the food chain buddy
I'm why but whenever I see bokoblins hunting I let them do their work and get their food I like watching them work with other monsters its interesting and some interactions between bokoblins and other monsters are hilarious and fun to see for instance if a moblin is grouped up with some bokoblins in a hunting party and they try to attack you but the moblin doesn't have a weapon and your too far away for him to hit you it'll grab a bokoblin and chuck him at you
sometimes it makes you think what nintendo had to go through to code and design every bit of the wildlife and every interaction between monsters and animals, the amount of detail they put into 1 single species that most people would just overlook and kill the second they see, they did it even though they knew that the majority wouldn't take the time to notice or care about how the bokoblins function and how they as a species act around one another
But I kill everyone of them and steal their organs I mean everyone does
That’s why I appreciate this game, man. There’s literally an entire ecosystem out there and you can just explore the wilderness and unite with wildlife
Rain World also got that, just so you know. AI is awesome in video games.
