All I want is Twilight Princess and Wind Waker in HD and on Switch. That would appease me. However, it wouldn’t hurt to have the Oracle games see the Switch treatment the way Link’s Awakening got.
In my opinion, the perfect Ocarina of Time remaster would be simply graphical and maybe cosmetic bonuses. The gameplay, maps, dungeons, and overall experience should be left alone. There could be simple adjustments like speeding up his climbing, putting iron boots as an item, etc. but I wouldn't want it to change as a game. It would be great if it was graphically revamped like Metroid Prime Remastered. They redid most of the textures, lighting, models, etc. so it wasn't just upscaled. That would be awesome.
I agree. Leave the base game experience alone, tweak a few things like some speed issues and the Iron boots(100% agree), and revamp the graphics and textures and that would be all that is necessary. I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
It’s possible to do a good full remake, but I think the odds of pulling it off without seriously pissing off fans are slim. Whatever they changed would just upset people. So yeah a remaster is the best idea.
@@shrap3d BotW, TotK, horizon zero dawn/forbidden west, ghost of tsushima... like those are all great games in their own way but honestly I much prefer classic Zelda over that formula. You're right, the huge open worlds don't really do anything for the player. It just takes a ton more time to get to interesting moments. It's not fun finding hundreds of shrines/lightroots for hours on end. It seems like the Zelda team wants to make it as big as possible with a tonnnn of small rewards but fails to deliver real dungeons. The bosses and story were slightly better in TotK, but not even close to others in the series.
YES! The dungeons were horrible, and that's what I was looking forward to most from TOTK, and it was just as disappointing as I feared. But I'm afraid they're going to ditch the traditional gameplay because BOTW and TOTK made them so much money.
I have some objections to reusing that art style. 1) The diorama style was considered fitting for the “quirky dreamlike” timbre of LA (I personally disagree but no one’s asking), the Oracle games have a much less goofy, fantastical tone. As such I think the case for those visuals does not carry over. 2) I already lament how these mostly superior games usually play second fiddle to LA, and releasing them with identical visuals would only exacerbate that problem. 3) I was really disappointed that they didn’t really add any content to the LA remake. That game was over 25 years old and charged the same as BotW! I expected some kind of expanded world-building or some kind of content, but it was basically identical - possibly easier…
I’d honestly pay $30-40 each for _Ocarina of Time_ and _Majora’s Mask_ in HD in physical format… not a remake, not a remaster, not even the 3DS versions… literally just the N64 versions as they are on NSO, but on a Switch cartridge, hopefully with some pretty box art 👌 and aside from that, and Switch ports of _Wind Waker_ and _Twilight Princess HD,_ I would be down for them going back to old games and making sequels… like _Twilight Princess 2,_ etc 🤔
I would love to play a game centered around Sheik. I didn't even know such a concept existed and I really hope this project will come to fruition one day...!
I prefer Twilight Princess format. I hope one day we get a full game similar to what they showed us on the Wii U. I also wouldn’t mind a game where Zelda is main character
@@lennywright5655The HD needs to be available though just for the fast sail. I never got to use it since I never had a Wii U and I’m so jealous of people who did lol. Faster sailing improves the game so much.
@@yozarian86That’s the thing though, if WW is ever remade again, it will probably just be a port, without the fast sail. Nintendo got lazy with their remakes. Just get a Wii U, they’re selling for dirt cheap now.
Well if you have a pc, just get a wii u emulator. They arent all that resource intensive since its older software/firmware. But you didn't that from me👀👀
Zelda 1 and 2 needed remakes before anything else got any really, they're the ones that aged the least gracefully. The core gameplay doesn't really need to change, it just needs modern polish and conveniences, and frustrations removed. Like 60 FPS, 16:9 widescreen support so the whole screen is filled and we can see more without a stretched image, modern high resolution pixel art graphics (like the PSP remakes of Final Fantasy I, II and IV), and anything else that can bring those games up to modern standards. Zelda II needs frustration removals - Link's sword range is too short and it's hard to hit anything without nearly taking a hit yourself. - Rather than pits/water/lava being instant death, they should work like they have in A Link to the Past onward: Sap a portion of the health, and respawn Link at the start of the room. - Get rid of the lives system entirely, and just always continue you where you left off (i.e. dying in a dungeon puts you back at the entrance, and dying on the overworld puts you back at the last place you left). After those two get remade, Zelda Oracle of Seasons and Ages should be remade next, cause they're also stuck on just the GBC like Link's Awakening was, and could use more buttons. Same deal, higher resolution pixel art would be preferred for me, as well as combining the two into one game. Finishing one lets you start the other with the same file, and you could go back and forth between Holodrum and Labrynna to do the password transfers/secret unlocks.
I got to hand it to you Zel, I always was considering opening up a channel revolving around Metroid and Zelda as they are both my all time favorites. I can see that you beat me to the punch. I tip my hat to you partner. Keep up the amazing work and I'm excited to see what you'll speak on next.
We need to show this video to Nintendo. You hit the nail on the head when talking about your #1 pick. A Zelda game with the open world of BOTW with classic Zelda dungeons would be the greatest game ever made and sell like crazy.
My first thought before watching was Adventure of Link. Honestly with how tough it was considered at the time of release, why not try their hands at a Sekiro-esque game for the remake as far as difficult combat.
Y U NO INCLUDE THE ORACLE GAMES!? Seriously, if any game deserves a remake it is that one and yet people act like they never heard of it. It needs a remake similar to Link's Awakening.
A Link to the Past remake and Zelda 1 and 2 remakes would be incredible. And the obvious and super easy ones are releasing Twilight Princess and Windwaker HD on switch.
Majora's mask for sure. As a kid, I had great experiences trying to solve everyone's life. A remake with a bigger termina field , more quests on each zone using the transformation masks to learn more about their past, etc.
Combine 1 and 2. That's the recipe for the greatest game ever made. I wanna see a hyrule warriors game where link rebuilds hyrule and has missions to go eliminate all the monsters in the world
Now I'm not super optimistic about this one, but a remake of the Oracle games with the bonus of the third game. Put them all on one cartridge, you get to choose which land to go to (probably would lock you in once you choose) and this way you don't need a code between games, it's one massive game. 2/3 of the game is made, would have to rewrite some parts of it, but that would be awesome since it'd add a massive new element to the games.
I don't see the third one happening since scrapped ideas were added to the other two games if I remember correctly. I just want a remake of those two games.
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 oh, I said I wasn't optimistic, it would just be cool to see, and it would change the games so much that they'd certainly be worth going back to
#2 and #1 could be combined. An OoT remake with a modern open world style could be an absolutely amazing game. My idea: the world opens up after you clear the Great Deku Tree dungeon, similar to how the world of ToTK opens up after completing the Sky Island trials. Dodongo's Cavern and Jabu-Jabu's Belly can be done in whichever order you choose, as could the Forest, Fire, and Water Temples after you get the Master Sword. After completing the 3 Elemental temples, you'd be able to access the Shadow Temple and the Light Temple, which would be added to give the Sage Rauru an actual dungeon. Speaking of which, the sages would play a much bigger role in the remake, similar to the sages in Wind Waker and BotW/ToTK. After completing those temples, you'd finally gain access to the Spirit Temple (which HAS to be the last temple, since it's where you beat Ganondorf's parents). Then, you'd gain access to Ganon's Castle. So it would be more like ToTK, where there would be certain things you can't immediately access, as opposed to BoTW where you can just immediately fight Ganon. And this game would actually have proper dungeons, in fact, vastly expanded dungeons compared to what they were in the original OoT.
That'd Be A Cool Idea Like Where The Wrong Zelda Gets Kidnapped And Link Must Find Her Before Demise's Resurrected And He Meets Any Incarnation Of Link
I'd have my own game I'd really want. Oracle of remakes in the same vein as the Link's Awakening remake from 2019. I've been wanting it ever since the LA remake was announced. In some respects I like Link's Awakening more then the two Oracle of games, but I have more nostalgic fondness for the Oracle games. (I didn't play Link's Awakening on the GBC until *after* I had already beaten two linked Oracle playthroughs. Both the Ages -> Seasons linked playthrough and the Seasons -> Ages linked playthrough.) Of course, if we do get remakes, I expect it to be one package, not sold separately like the Oracle games were back on the GBC. Also, to comment a bit about a new Hyrule Warriors. First off, a bit of a big spoiler here, I hope a third Hyrule Warriors won't be as dishonestly marketed as Age of Calamity was. (It was marketed as a prequel to BoTW, and I remember people were excited if it would have any story threads that would be built upon in Tears of The Kingdom... only for it to turn out that AoC was a non-canon what-if story where they defeat Calamity Ganon in the past. Really, I had a bad feeling as soon as I played the demo and that little time-travel bot showed up.) Second, I'm a bit iffy about another Hyrule Warriors that hyper-focuses on a single game. One of the big charms of the first HW was seeing various characters from all throughout the Zelda universe in the same game. Heck, even the OC characters like Lana or Linkle or Volga were also plenty likable, and I have a small hope that some get canonized someday. (You might be able to tell my fondness for the OCs because Wizzro is my current avatar, haha.) While the first HW's plot is nothing amazing, fan-service and references clearly took priority over the actual narrative, I still really enjoyed it. It's not in my top three Zelda games of all time, but it does earn a spot on the honorable mention list. Furthermore, as a big Warriors fan, Age of Calamity, on top of my grievance with the dishonest marketing, also tributed way too much stuff from BoTW which did *not* fit a Warriors game very well. Certain enemies like Hinoxes or Lynels were just complete slogs to fight. They were clearly trying to recreate fighting them in BoTW when it was somewhat counter-logical for a Warriors game, which is a shame because Koei-Tecmo has made giant monster enemies work in Warriors games before, such as in Warriors All-Stars or Warriors Orochi 4. AoC is the one and only Warriors game that I beat, turned it off, and never played it again since the day I beat it. I still go back to play the first HW from time to time, even if some of that game's interface is comparatively clunkier. So, if we get another Hyrule Warriors, I feel like I'd rather more of a proper direct sequel to the first HW then anything that hyper-focuses on a single game like AoC.
We need Twilight Princess HD on the Switch before the Switch 2 comes out!! Please Nintendo is just an easy Wii U Port, we already have many why not this one too!!! 😭🙏🏻
Sequel to Link Between Worlds but it’s in Lorule. Legend of Hilda where at the end of LBW, they recreate the Triforce but in Ravio’s bag, he stole Majora’s Mask. Hilda puts the mask on, becomes possessed, and tries to grab their new Triforce. Because Majora isn’t pure at heart, it splits up into 3 pieces and Ravio has to build up the courage and learn to become a warrior to not only retrieve those pieces but to defeat Majora possessed Hilda as well. You could have fun with this game by showing places like Clocktown exist in this world…
I want to see Zelda 1, the OG, remade for a modern audience. Honestly, I'd love to see all 2D Zelda games go 3D -- save some of the newer ones, where 2D is part of the identity (such as A Link Between Worlds). Older Zelda games being 2D feels more like a design choice due to limitations, rather than a chosen identity.
I want the Oracle games remastered. I want Paper Zelda remakes of the first two games. I want Ocarina remade with all the originally intended content and updated quality of life improvements. I want a proper 3D Zelda game wherein I can play as every race and monster type.
I keep thinking that an actual traditional Zelda game, like Skyward Sword but without the motion control gimmick, would be absolutely amazing in a BOTW open world. Especially with proper Zelda dungeons, but accessible in almost any order, like in A Link Between Worlds. You still want to have some barriers to overcome, and some things to be revealed by story progression rather than just be blundered into while exploring, but overall you can make a non-linear game and still have it play like a Zelda game. You can even have the breakable weapons mechanic, but with a repair and upgrade system like Skyward Sword had, or even like Age of Calamity had. And if you want to be really non-linear, there's always something Zelda still hasn't tried at all: multiple endings. It means very little to have a game based around non-linear freedom if the game always ends the same way no matter what choices you make.
Switch Era had a big Zelda game at the beginning of its life cycle, a small-scale remake in the middle, and another huge game at the end. Switch 2 could follow the same model of big project/small project/big project. Starting with the post-apocalyptic Sheik game (2026), with a Zelda II remake in the middle of the console's life cycle (2028-2029), and a modernized open world OoT remake towards the end of the console's life (2031-2032).
1. New more traditional top down Zelda (something like the oracle games) 2. Third hero of Time game 3. The suggested sheik game (but either keep play style of Ocarina of time or go full blown stealth game no hyrule warriors) 4. Zelda 1 remake (could use some quality of life improvements. Detail map, map markers, update the saving so don’t always start back at the beginning with hearts if you have to take a break). 5. Zelda 2 remake (similar to Zelda one). THEN maybe wind waker and Twilight Princess ports.
I would've LOVED to have a Zelda spin-off where the adventure was about Princess Zelda/Sheik and that you'd play as her. Hopefully, we'll get that cancelled game at some point. As for Zelda remakes, I want: 1. Ocarina Of Time 2. Majora's Mask 3. Wind Waker 4. Twilight Princess Finally, Four Swords/Four Swords Adventures or even The Minish Cap
I think they could easily put together an Adventure of Link remake using the engine and assets from the Smash Bros series. Levels would basically work like the Subspace Emissary levels from Brawl, and the overworld would be like a more sophisticated version of World of Light from Ultimate. Link's moveset is already there. They should turn it over to Sakurai.
They should make a sequal to twilight princess where zelda gets trapped into the twilight relm and link has to find all of the missing mirror shards and travels to the twilight relm where he finds midna and then find zelda.
Here's my list: 1: A zelda 2 remake would be cool if the platform portion was smash brothers quality. 2. If the switch 2 is dual screen, then an overhaul on Windwaker so the second screen is functional like the 3ds OOT and MM games. Then a remaster of Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks to the same level as WW to solidify WW, PH, and ST as a kind of trilogy of games on the same level. 3. A third game in the hero of time series after MM 4. A complete rework of the Oracle games in order to make then everything they were supposed to be. 5. A puzzle game that copies the Portal game gimmick, but involves arrows as the portal makers and princess zelda escaping a giant dungeon prison. 6. It just hit me recently, but all the bird's eye view games of Zelda could be in the same category as "diablo" or "No rest for the wicked." I'd love to see link in a game with that quality of graphics.
What I'd really like to see is another release of Wind Waker with all the removed content implemented. You know, that third pearl dungeon on Great Fish Isle, the third Master Sword dungeon, most likely the Ghost Ship, and Fire Mountain and Ice Ring Isle being proper mini-dungeons. Assuming that was the original idea of the game. There are some indications the original idea was something similar to Ocarina of Time and A Link To The Past, in which case Fire Mountain and Ice Ring Isle would've been the entrances to Fire Temple and Ice Temple.
True shit, a Zelda 2 remake with some QOL improvements would VASTLY change a lot of people's mind on how they view the game as a whole. Fast travel through towns, palace maps, new spells/moves, no life counter to name just a few.
This might come as a surprise, but I'd like to see an actual console version of Zelda Outlands. There was a rumor that it was supposed to be the 3rd Zelda game released on the NES as a sequel to Zelda 2: AoL
I would really want to see a remake of the Oracle games, in the same gameplay controls and art style as the Link's Awakening remake on Switch. With the Hyrule Warriors sequel, Age of Calamity is it's own story, it takes place in a timeline where Link's allies in Breath of the Wild (The New Champions/Sages) were sent into the past by the small time traveling guardian Terako, who also warned the past Link and Zelda of Ganon's return, and managed to prevent the previous Champions' deaths and seal away Ganon. This one could be an alternate timeline where during the climax of TotK, Ganon sends Link and the Champions into the ancient past and they arrive around the same time Zelda did. There they work with Raru and their predecessors to prevent Ganon's ascension to The Demon King.
I'll never understand the hate for AoL. It was only the 2nd game in the series and the 1st one had only been out for a year. There wasn't enough time for people to be disappointed.
Personally I want a crafting/survival game with BOTW/TOTK type interface and maybe some base building component to it. Going down the dark path with Link defeated in OOT would make a good layout for this format.
I’d absolutely love Windwaker on the Switch, and Twilight Princess since I never got to play that one yet. Also speaking of dungeons/temples, I freaking loved the Link’s Awakening dungeons, they were both challenging and fun to solve imo.
i would prefer them to go back in twilight princess direction. a lot less breakable weapons. more gritty dark and realistic graphical style. really interesting and atmospheric dungeons
If they are going to take the time and effort to remake OoT then that needs to also include the controls. Skyward Sword Switch is sitting in its case for the foreseeable future because the control scheme is still mapped for the Wii.
I love the idea of a dark hyrule centered around the absence of the hero. This could possibly be a game not centered around the cycle of demise, with a new villain (maybe set in lorule... or have elements from the twilight realm, termina, the dark world, ect.) I also want a game set before Skyward Sword, with the protagonist being Hylia's chosen hero. It would be cool to have Hylia actually still alive with the Goddesses involved. (Could be the legend of Hylia). It's possible Skyward Sword Link could be the first, but I believe the hero of the Sky is important because he and Zelda founded Hyrule.
I actually want a sequel to the og Hyrule Warriors. I get that the game is mostly fan service and not particularly difficult but I really enjoyed it and I feel like they could continue this story. These new Characters like Lana, Cia, Volga and Wizzro could get so much development and I feel like they have a lot of potential. I know this is almost certainly never going to happen but I do quite like the idea.
I liked the first Zelda when it came out, but simply fell in love head over heels with the second. That game was a masterpiece at the time, and personally I only heard good opinions about it. Yes, it was difficult, but that is the Hallmark of Zelda games, they’re packed with secrets and Easter eggs. I’ve been a fan since the first game (yup, I’m 50) and have stayed a fan. Many of the younger generation wants a game where Zelda is the main character, to me that is blasphemy. That would not be a Zelda game but rather a spinoff kind of like Princess Peach, another unthinkable thing to me, Mario should be Mario, and games that are spinoffs should have their own franchises. When I play a Zelda game I expect to play as Link, a Mario game as Mario. For instance, if I listen to Metallica I don’t want to hear Lars the drummer sing, that wouldn’t be Metallica. OoT is THE game, I’ll never forget those first 24 hours straight I spent getting to know Hyrule in 3D, magical.
Last one is what I was desperately hoping TotK would be. And it actually was a little bit closer than BotW, but by a slim margin. I really want a fusion of the styles. More focus on dungeons, instead of spreading everything out almost evenly throughout the whole game. And any mainline Zelda game where you play as Zelda is long overdue, but playing not just as shik, but in a dark gritty game, is the absolute dream. I’ve wanted another Zelda that feels like Twilight.
A more likely choice would be TotK story DLC for Age of Calamity. It would feature the Champions and others. And an Age of Calamity iteration of the Upheaval would be interesting. Would Terrako summon the TotK Sages to the past again to combat the Age of Calamity era version of TotK Ganondorf. There would be nine sages for Ganondorf to deal with, assuming that the Champions gain that title as well. Though as a big finale, have the return of the Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and A Link to the Past incarnations of Link join the fight as well as a hypothetical. Skyward Sword Link could just be an alt for BotW Link in terms of gameplay, but separate in terms of in cutscenes. Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and A Link to the Past Links would use Link’s sword moveset from the original Hyrule Warriors. They would function as alts for each other in terms of gameplay, but are separate in terms of gameplay. Toon Link would maintain his movesets from the original Hyrule Warriors as well, but would have access to a Master Sword variant of his sword moveset as well. That way, we can have a full and uninterrupted version of Zelda's speech from memory one in BotW. You know… the one with "Whether skyward bound, adrift in time, or steeped in the glowing embers of twilight” quote.
5:25 If you do an ocarina of time remake then you need to make it in the style of the official art that was released for the game. Use those designs and character models to created the game
Switch is my most played Console, but TOTK is the only game I’ve bought in the last 18 months. I would pre order WindWaker or Twilight Princess HD right now if it was announced. I love those games and have them on their original Gamecube format, but I want to play them on the go! I can’t understand why they won’t release them for us? It’s a no brainer, especially in such a quiet an underwhelming year for the Switch!
Oot doesn't need more sidequests, it needs more things to use rupees for. Other than that, I would love a Zelda 2 remake, and we still need the HD versions of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to be ported to the Switch (after *7 years*).
8:00 some people might tell me that I did it incorrectly but since it's part of the game I didn't feel like I was cheating. In tears of the kingdom I was really disappointed with both the water temple and the fire temple because I was able to complete them both including the boss fight in about 10 minutes because of using a vehicle that I could just fly around with. In fact I'll be honest after doing most of the side quests and a good chunk of the main quest I didn't even complete tears of the kingdom because it was just not satisfying everything felt super tedious. I was also super unimpressed with the house building system It felt like that was added in at the absolute last minute
On a serious note, I realy hope we get a remake of both Oot and MM, like on a 60 dola bundle, like pikmin 1+2 yk, I would love even a 1080p remake inspired by the 3ds versions but correcting some issues like the ganon fight being too bright on the 3ds, and to MM do the same while dont using the major changes it did that kinda f up the game. To wind waker just bring back the cut content and make an option to switch between the wii u artstyle and the original, plus adding some extras and inhansing the quality. To Tp I dont realy know I played that game only one time
Im thinking about zelda games that took place in adult timeline after Spirit Track It have a 1920-1940 era and vibes but in Hyrule and have a graphic of Twilight Princess, also it have guns and “modern” vehicles
1. A extremely challenging puzzle/detective like game where Zelda has to use her wisdom (she fights as well) to solve cases and free link. Since she has the triforce of wisdom it would be awesome 2. Remake of the very first zelda game. 3. Remake of twilight princess 4. Remakes of Oracle of time/seasons I have no more.
My idea of a perfect zelda game? use the oracle of ages and seasons format for changing the world around you but make it CO-OP with princess zelda as your partner that if you have a friend you both can play if not you can swap between characters forcing you to use both Like POP sands of time or two thrones did!
Let hope we will see an fallen timeline game for nintendo switch since i felt like that game could be next one which it being open world where we play as sheik which most likely would take place several years later after what happened to link
The could easily make the Zelda / Sheik game as well as one with Zelda going through the past in TotK world, what else happened besides of what we da in the memories when she was there?
For Me A Turn-Based Zelda Game with FF8's Level-Up Mechanic, and FF10's Turn-Based Mechanic. The next metroid Game should have Other M Mechanic, but with Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch 2 Mechanic.
If they're going to return to the BotW/TotK world, I'd like it if they leaned more into futuristic elements of world design and interaction. It's meant to be, what, 10000 years past the latest Zelda games in canon and most of the medieval elements in the world are still intact?
My favorite game ever made is Twilight Princess, and I so badly want the next Zelda game to be either a sequel or spiritual successor to that game. Honestly though, I would be ecstatic if they just made it darker and gave it more realistic graphics.
Kinda bummed totk won't get a sequel. Kinda thought they were like spiritually successors to the original 3d games. Where BOTW is OOT. TOTK is MM. And the sequel could be WW where TOTK Hyrule gets flooded. And you construct ships via ultrahand and can submerge to explore flooded Hyrule
The Switch successor is coming... What is a game you'd like to see on the Switch, or on the Switch 2??
A credible rumor propped up that a new Zelda game is coming soon where Zelda is the playable character so your number 3 may end up aging very well 😅
For me, I'm most hyped for an OOT remake or remaster for switch. Or anything in the majoras mask universe aswell.
I'd be happy with ports of Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD, give or take a few more quality of life enhancements to the latter.
@@Jestahz Yes! I wholeheartedly agree.

It’s possible to do a good full remake, but I think the odds of pulling it off without seriously pissing off fans are slim. Whatever they changed would just upset people. So yeah a remaster is the best idea.

Your #1 is a must. I hate the new Zelda gameplay style. A traditional one mixed with BOTW would be amazing.
YES! The dungeons were horrible, and that's what I was looking forward to most from TOTK, and it was just as disappointing as I feared. But I'm afraid they're going to ditch the traditional gameplay because BOTW and TOTK made them so much money.
My #1 is a remake of the Oracle games, ideally in the Link's Awakening style but I'd be perfectly happy with a remake of any kind
I have some objections to reusing that art style.

I know im a month late but I agree and its sad that people dont talk about those games let alone them getting remakes
I’d honestly pay $30-40 each for _Ocarina of Time_ and _Majora’s Mask_ in HD in physical format… not a remake, not a remaster, not even the 3DS versions… literally just the N64 versions as they are on NSO, but on a Switch cartridge, hopefully with some pretty box art 👌

Lol, Yep!! You found my other passion outside of basketball. Glad to have you here :)
Same for me here 😮
i was just about to ask this, recognized his voice instantly
I want to see a full remake of the original and its sequel, with expanded story. In 3d.
I prefer Twilight Princess format. I hope one day we get a full game similar to what they showed us on the Wii U. I also wouldn’t mind a game where Zelda is main character
That last idea is literally all I want. To hell with these open air dungeons and temples. We gotta go back to the old lock and key formula
I’d really like to see a 3D Zelda II The Adventures of Link remake, depending on how Nintendo approaches development, it could satisfy your #4 and #1.
3:20 I would be down for that and a complete Link To The Past remake as well in the style of BOTW.
Great picks. I want wind waker though. Never had a Wii U, so I need it on the switch
Could always get Wind Waker on GameCube 😅. Seriously though, you need a second screen and Miiverse (kinda) to truly experience WWHD.
The Wii U version is great. I think the grapple hook controls were odd though. Didn't like that.
Zelda II needs frustration removals
- Link's sword range is too short and it's hard to hit anything without nearly taking a hit yourself.
Ages and Seasons were both fantastic! First videogame I ever beat was Seasons. Ages took me a bit longer. They're both absolutely fantastic!!
Masterpieces, best 2D Zelda for me. But yeah most people don’t really know them
I will be fine playing any Zelda game as long as it stays within the four timelines
Right !!! Not to far out in the future that it’s like the past games mean nothing
A Link to the Past remake and Zelda 1 and 2 remakes would be incredible. And the obvious and super easy ones are releasing Twilight Princess and Windwaker HD on switch.
They already tried to make a link to the past remake. Instead it became a link between worlds
@@user-yf6zz3cl8i interesting, I didn't know that!
@@user-yf6zz3cl8inot necessarily a bad thing though, right?
Majora's mask for sure. As a kid, I had great experiences trying to solve everyone's life. A remake with a bigger termina field , more quests on each zone using the transformation masks to learn more about their past, etc.
Combine 1 and 2. That's the recipe for the greatest game ever made. I wanna see a hyrule warriors game where link rebuilds hyrule and has missions to go eliminate all the monsters in the world
Wind Waker on the switch 👏
Hyrule warriors: the Imprisoning war, would make so much sense for them to make
Now I'm not super optimistic about this one, but a remake of the Oracle games with the bonus of the third game.
Legend of Zelda multiverse????😱😱😱
Only if they do it right and not too overwhelming
I would like a game where link travles back in time before skyward sword and helps the goddess seal away demise.
Underrated asf I subbed and liked great game ideas btw ❤😊
That giant kitchen sink that’s considered the water temple in totk is probably the worst dungeon EVER in the Zelda franchise lol
I want a comedic, storydriven Zelda game in the DiC universe with all the classic style and voice acting.
Lol That'd Be So Funny
I would love to see the both Oracle games, in the style of Links Awakening remake!
First video I see from this channel. I did not expect a Jonny Arnett jumpscare😂.
Boo! Lmao. Welcome to my other channel 😂👍
1. New more traditional top down Zelda (something like the oracle games)
2. Third hero of Time game
3. The suggested sheik game (but either keep play style of Ocarina of time or go full blown stealth game no hyrule warriors)
A game that takes place in modern(ish) times but with the same fantasy theme.
I would've LOVED to have a Zelda spin-off where the adventure was about Princess Zelda/Sheik and that you'd play as her.
Hopefully, we'll get that cancelled game at some point.
As for Zelda remakes, I want:
1. Ocarina Of Time
2. Majora's Mask
3. Wind Waker
4. Twilight Princess
Finally, Four Swords/Four Swords Adventures or even The Minish Cap
I think they could easily put together an Adventure of Link remake using the engine and assets from the Smash Bros series. Levels would basically work like the Subspace Emissary levels from Brawl, and the overworld would be like a more sophisticated version of World of Light from Ultimate. Link's moveset is already there. They should turn it over to Sakurai.
They should make a sequal to twilight princess where zelda gets trapped into the twilight relm and link has to find all of the missing mirror shards and travels to the twilight relm where he finds midna and then find zelda.
Not fully like that but u have something going there
You are spot on with your final assessment. We need a BOTW style with the standard format. BOTW to me feels like Zelda in name only.
Here's my list:
1: A zelda 2 remake would be cool if the platform portion was smash brothers quality.
3. A third game in the hero of time series after MM
Glad to see your video!!
This might come as a surprise, but I'd like to see an actual console version of Zelda Outlands. There was a rumor that it was supposed to be the 3rd Zelda game released on the NES as a sequel to Zelda 2: AoL
Wow, I never even thought of a TOTK Hyrule Warriors. I would be interested in it for the lore more than anything.
All I want is is Twilight Princess HD And Wind Waker HD on the Switch
But a game I would LOVE that they remake entirely is the very first Zelda game.
1. Windwaker Remake
2. Twilight Prinzess Remake
3. Minish Cap Remake
4. Majoras Mask Remake
5. Ocarina of Time Remake
😂
I'll never understand the hate for AoL. It was only the 2nd game in the series and the 1st one had only been out for a year. There wasn't enough time for people to be disappointed.
i couldnt agree with you more on your number 1 pick for what we need in botw/totk
Link to the Past Zelda,Ocarina Of Time Zelda,Majora's Mask Zelda,Twilight Princess Zelda,Hyrule Warriors Zelda,Skyward Sword Zelda! 😏💯
i would prefer them to go back in twilight princess direction. a lot less breakable weapons. more gritty dark and realistic graphical style. really interesting and atmospheric dungeons
I agree with all your suggestions! But i can't keep myself from adding one more to them: Majora's Mask!!!
If they are going to take the time and effort to remake OoT then that needs to also include the controls. Skyward Sword Switch is sitting in its case for the foreseeable future because the control scheme is still mapped for the Wii.
I love the idea of a dark hyrule centered around the absence of the hero. This could possibly be a game not centered around the cycle of demise, with a new villain (maybe set in lorule... or have elements from the twilight realm, termina, the dark world, ect.)
I also want a game set before Skyward Sword, with the protagonist being Hylia's chosen hero.
The idea of a full 3D semi-open world remake of Adventure of Link is titillating.
Im playing through wind waker rn for the first time, im a little over half way done and my god I love it!
It is soooo great! The music while riding on the sea just sounds like freedom to my ears 🌊
In random order: phantom hourglass, spirit tracks, the minish cap, four swords adventures, and a link to the past
For me, it would have to be one final game about the Hero of Time. We deserve to know how he died and became the Hero's Shade in "Twilight Princess!"
Love the list man. I'd add say oracle of ages and seasons done the same way as links awakening remake.
I appreciate it! And hey, I would love to see those too! 👍
Oot doesn't need more sidequests, it needs more things to use rupees for.
Other than that, I would love a Zelda 2 remake, and we still need the HD versions of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to be ported to the Switch (after *7 years*).
We’re most likely going to get ocarina and majora 3ds versions upscaled an enhanced for the switch
A Zelda 2 remake in the spirit of the Metroid remakes would be awesome
That tech demo from 2011
It was so gorgeous…
@@zeltroid it’ll be the perfect game to show of the capabilities of switch 2
On a serious note, I realy hope we get a remake of both Oot and MM, like on a 60 dola bundle, like pikmin 1+2 yk, I would love even a 1080p remake inspired by the 3ds versions but correcting some issues like the ganon fight being too bright on the 3ds, and to MM do the same while dont using the major changes it did that kinda f up the game. To wind waker just bring back the cut content and make an option to switch between the wii u artstyle and the original, plus adding some extras and inhansing the quality. To Tp I dont realy know I played that game only one time
Im thinking about zelda games that took place in adult timeline after Spirit Track
It have a 1920-1940 era and vibes but in Hyrule and have a graphic of Twilight Princess, also it have guns and “modern” vehicles
1. A extremely challenging puzzle/detective like game where Zelda has to use her wisdom (she fights as well) to solve cases and free link. Since she has the triforce of wisdom it would be awesome
2. Remake of the very first zelda game.
3. Remake of twilight princess
4. Remakes of Oracle of time/seasons
I have no more.
I would love to see a new 2D Zelda game. I just love that classic top down look and think the new generation of gamers might like it too.
A remake of the oracle zelda games would make for great 2d remake I think.
@holdenhockman8340 I would love for a link to the past to be given a modern face lift.
I would like another hyrule warriors but I’d want something like the first one where it’s a celebration of the series
A turn based Zelda game 🤣 Zelda was never like FF for example, and I wish it will never be
Oh my goodness yess!!yes!!! If we could get a zelda game that focuses on Sheik/Zelda and is super edgey or very dark that would be amazing.
I want top-down perspective Zelda games. The gameboy games are the best ones because of that imo.
What we really need is a new 2D Zelda game. It has been 11 years since the last one (A Link Between Worlds)
I enjoyed Link's Crossbow Training.
I just want a port of Four Sword Adventure. It's the only mainline Zelda that isn't on current or previous gen hardware.
