Queen back in the days we mainly used cholesterol, hot oil, and protein treatments and our clients had nice healthy hair. It wasn’t about all this different products. Also I was taught to keep a paper towel near to test the irons before using them in the hair. If the if the paper towel scorched, then you would know the irons or curlers are too hot. These irons today in my opinion are for weaved hair. They can be damaging to our hair if you have not been educated on how to use them.
Exactly, that’s why school is so important. Flat irons are professional tools. You can burn out hair with Marcels or plug ins the same way if they are used wrong. One isn’t better than the other, you just need to know what your doing. Thanks so much for sharing.
Can you also tell the people that keep saying our ancestors didnt have blow dryers and they would air dry their hair, that our ancestors also were outside in the blazing heat all hours of the day 😭 they had the sun to evaporate the water out of their hair. The good majority of us now are indoors in comfy airconditioning.
@CynDoll as you say coconut oil queen, they are even infusing coconut oil into the combs now. I was online looking for a pick to fluff out my rod set and those I was seeing were infused with coconut oil. we aint safe nowhere lol
I can blow out and flatiron my below the shoulder natural hair in under an hour. My hair is type 4. People just need to know how to work with their hair. I watched your videos and others and got to work. I had just gone natural and didn’t know what to do. Now, it’s easy. I spend very little money or time on my hair. None of those expensive products.
I enjoy your commentary Queen. I always educated my clients about their hair as well. I was about hair care not hair look good because if it’s not cared for properly you definitely won’t have anything to look good. 💯
I absolutely love your colorful way, you describe what people are doing to their hair! I’m the end, you’re correct! Have you’ve seen a change in the way to do hair, today versus 6 years ago?
At 4:09 I've never seen anyone grease a scalp like that or in braids unless they were about to do a sew in. That looked like a butter or cream not grease like blue magic which was used more sparingly.
Here we go again with black women engaging with hygiene olympics 🥴 Even people with straight lose curls or wavy hair avoid washing their hair everyday. That can't be good for type 4 hair that is usually dry.

Say that. Haircare first then styling.❤❤❤

I’m retired now.❤️ Thanks so much for watching.
We were taught to use finger dexterity on the scalp. This would stimulate the blood to the roots of the hair.

600 dollas, dang.
Baby girl I’m interested in anything you say or do, having benefited from your experience in the past.❤
Thanks for hearing me‼️❤️

Great video. You are so informative and I learn a lot from your videos
Awesome, thank you!❤❤❤
The airstraight is not for type 4 hair. I don't know why people expect their 4c hair to be bone straight when using it.
Smh, it’s the upside down!🤦🏾
I’ve been seeing videos about washing 4c hair everyday for growth. Any thoughts?
Thanks
PS I love my revair
