    Thanks for keeping up on developments in the court case, Adam! 🤔 Everyone is looking for immediate outcomes. The bankruptcy process is a business that attenuates risks and liabilities. All roads don’t necessarily lead to ‘company go poof’, however.
    They went from outright liquidation to chap. 11. This chap. 11 process will have unexpected out comes. They can always abruptly liquidate. On the face of it, company goes ‘poof’ but there are probably more developments in store.
    If the escrow arrangement is a privately-conducted arrangement, there won’t be any public announcements. But my guess is that if the company is to exit from chap. 11, then somebody wants the U.S. listing, domicile, and accumulated deficit.
    The reason why they might be entertaining the idea of defacto ownership in Fisker, is that they pay no capital gains. ESPECIALLY if the capital was raised by shorting the stock.
    In an SEC article, they mention that a post-fix of ‘Q’ changes to a post-fix of ‘V’ in a bankruptcy process. RUclips won’t allow any posting of links in the comments.

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  13 дней назад +2

      Fisker is currently, right now, in a chapter 11 liquidation. The assets have already been agreed to be split between two parties, the “Liquidating trust” and the “Heights trust.” The literal name of the one of the two trusts where the assets go has “liquidating” in the name. Heights gets the IP. The Austria plan prevents the further manufacturing of Fisker products and parts. Not just the Ocean. If Heights, the owner of the IP sells the name, it’s a new company, and that’s the end of the equity. If your only hope is based on the fact that the letter hasn’t changed from Q to V, you’re in for a surprise.

      @@Aslash304 Adam,I think your reply is disrespectful. What I’m saying is through the bankruptcy filing, ownership will change hands, but the shares remain listed.

      @@effingsix3825 I apologize if you feel disrespected. I am doing nothing but trying to highlight the facts of the bankruptcy case. I read and analyze every document in the bankruptcy, working to understand what the potential results are. Here’s some realities, for example: There’s almost no money. The legal and administrative burden will be massive, the Fleet sale is really all the impaired creditors get access to for a resolution, and the claims are extremely numerous both in number and value. My question to you is: what will Fisker the company, that’s not allowed to build cars or parts, do, after the bankruptcy is completed? You could be exactly right in the fact that FSRNQ will stay on the board, but, functionally, what are they? Again: I mean no disrespect at all, and I sincerely apologize if you feel the facts I have presented, along with my opinion that the company is toast, and those waiting for a miracle may be disappointed, is disrespectful.

    A few thoughts. It's about time for the "Rural Reimagined" because West Virginia in particular has been sitting on millions of dollars in funding for EV charging infrastructure for years at this point. They received money from the VW judgment just like every other state that used that funding for charging infrastructure.
    In terms of EVgo reliability. I've personally found them to be fairly good, with the caveat that they seem to be targeted by vandalism more than any other network. The other quirk I've seen is that they tend to be fairly unreliable the first few weeks the site goes on. Basically, they don't start kicking the tires until the power is turned on and the chargers are opened to the public. After they've been brought online, they tend to be pretty reliable outside of vandalism. Also, I'm referring to the Delta units, which have far fewer issues than the Signet units.

If I buy a "Fly-by-night" adapter direct from China, that is miswired and connects the Supercharger 400V DC to the CCS 240V AC and the internal car charger catches on fire, how is this GM's responsibility? There has already been some questionable adapters sold without thermal protection, so the connector and charge port could melt and/or catch fire. Is that GM's responsibility? Sorry, I dont' see it. What they are saying is if you use a GM approved adapter, the warranty is fine.

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  13 дней назад +1

      There is currently no standard for the adapters. Once UL 2252 is approved, if GM is claiming the non-compliant Units may void the warranty, at least they can argue it in court. Correct and illegal are two different things. You can’t make a monopoly out of the aftermarket with a disclaimer.

      @@Aslash304 - Even with a UL approved adapter, if the non-GM adapter fails due to design or manufacturing defect, GM is not on the hook to replace the car should it burn down or other bad things happen. @@johnreason GM hopes you don’t, as well. They are employing a scare tactic. Also, how does GM know I used a 3rd party adapter, I could have purchased a GM authorized adapter on eBay. I could have borrowed one from a friend. There’s a law against using disclaimers post-warranty. They are doing it anyway. Opinions, risks, and feelings don’t hold a ton of weight in court.

    Adam, that's incorrect. You can only provide a warranty for what you've thoroughly tested. All products undergo validation testing, and the performance data comes from that process. Since GM does not, and will not, test every third-party adapter, they lack performance data for those products and cannot validate that the third-party adapters meet all necessary requirements.

      I appreciate the feedback. What about UL 2252? If use a 3rd party USB-C on my iPhone, can Apple void the warranty?

      That’s total BS and you know it. It has NOTHING to do with testing or predictions.

      You asked: “Do you think we can get any money? For example, if I have 1000 share, how much will my shares be valued at after liquidation? Will they hold any value, or will they be worthless?” I explicitly, with evidence, answered your question in this video.
