45 sec is not a fast takeoff. I've seen an DC10 or MD-11 of KLM at Schiphol, back in the 90's takeoff in less than 15s and I experiend myself an A320 of LH at Frankfurt also under 15s and a KLM 737-300 in under 20 at Tunis.
