Couldn’t agree more. I shake my head when I hear stories of husbands going after their wife’s lover. They’re directing their anger at the wrong person. If anything they should be thanking the guy and asking if he’ll take her permanently.

The only time I’d fight for a woman is if it was a robbery, home invasion and it’s self defense and she EARNED my protection. She earns it by being a compliment to my life.

30 years ago, shortly after having been laid off from a job (I was unemployed for maybe 6 weeks), I was at a party, talking with a friend. I’d been married for 10 months. Suddenly, several additional friends joined us, and they tried orienting me in a certain direction. I stopped, and asked them why they were trying to occupy my attention, so turned around. On the other side of the room, was a friend on a single seater couch, with my wife at the time, on his lap, and the two of them were in deep tongue-lock. My friends all grabbed me saying “stay calm, stay calm”. I removed their hands saying “I am calm, haven’t been calmer”. I walked over to the two of them and with my head about 2 feet away from my wife, I race called their kissing like I was the caller at a horse race…. They stopped, looked up, saw me right there. I smiled saying simply “Sprung!!”
They said something to the effect of “Ok sh!t”.
I said calmly to my friend, “This is a betrayal of friendship, you and I will never again have anything to do with each other.” I looked at my wife and said “Thank you. You’ve just proven your ability to commit. We’re done, and we will not be seeing each other again. I wish you well. You will find your own way home as I’ll be staying elsewhere.”
I returned to my group of friends who had their jaws still on the floor. “Told you, calm.”
After a while, my former friend who was kissing my former wife came up to me trying to justify… had a few drinks, his own marriage was crumbling… then it came to what he was really concerned about (I’m 6”6’, well build, black belt). He was worried that I was going to kill him. I said “Why would I do that? I found my wife extremely attractive. I’m sure other men do too. You went after my wife, which is BS and not something friends do. You betrayed my trust and I want nothing ever to do with you. I’m not going to take any further action other than tell you right now to get out of my space.” He left.
I’m so grateful this happened so soon after marriage (less than a year). That was my red-pill moment.

@@riggitydoo5116 Thanks. I was calm-angry for a while, then grateful. Yeah, we tend to think this kind of thing is new. It isn’t. It’s been going on since humans have existed. I just chose a woman who would not honour their commitment, which speaks to their character, and exposed my blind spot. I did the work afterwards and explored my blind-spot. It was that situation that led me to study psychology, which I’ve incorporated into my corporate consulting business, so was ultimately a blessing.
@@gjefferson4714 I initiated divorce. Integrity and trust is important for me, and before we married we’d clearly agreed that any breach of our monogamy commitment would be the end. Trust and integrity were even part of our vows. We were together two years before we married.
I’ve not had contact with her since, so do not know for sure about the aftermath. I heard from a mutual friend many years later (so this is heresy) that she married again a few years later, and divorced again some 10 years later for the same reason.

If you're a young man and you can understand that these women are far from special, you can save yourself a lot of grief and get a lot farther in life.
I learned early in my 20s how to control that nerve that goes from your johnson to your brain (figuratively). Because at that age, you think with your package, and that can get you in trouble (like this guy). Learning higher control of your taliwacker is like learning to control your temper or your breathing. It takes work. But once your have control, you’re IN control.
That IS the best revenge, but realistically how many men can pull that off? That's why they were in that crappy relationship to begin with. So many men have to settle.

A friend of mine in middle school, his dad was a trucker and his Mom “found” someone to leave the Dad in the U.S. this seems to be quite normal for trucker’s.

Once had a woman that insisted we should move together. When I refused (I am not exactly happy living with my parents, but at least it is for free, so definitively better than paying rent to live with a woman) she very fast got herself a guy having a flat of his own. (Later she found out it was of his aunts and he lived free there. A year later the aunt asked for rent that they could not pay.)
I messaged the guy he should be carefull, I have got STD from her. This was not true, but a form of revenge. Never got an answer until 3 years after. He confirmed it.
In my 20s I use to think I needed to fight the guy banging my girlfriend too. Now in my late 30s I have to laugh at the younger self. Today I would never do that. Worked with a guy who left his married wife for another Married Women. Two years later she cheats on him, he gets into fight with the guy and gets locked up. When I see him, he tells me I can’t believe she cheated on me, and I respond.. how can’t you?? When you met her SHE WAS MARRIED SHE CHEATED ON HIM!! He looked at me with complete bewilderment.

This video really speaks to me and all that I've gone through. You've just got to let it go and move on. It sucks. It really sucks. But you've got to make this a learning experience. Don't do it again and make yourself better. I'm putting more time into my business and working on my body now and it feels damn good. And I'm done chasing women too. Unless they come into my frame, I'm not even going to bother with them.
PS: I'm about a third of the way through The Unplugged Alpha and highly recommend it.
Yep exact same thing happened to me. Had the same type of response at first: wanted to "punish" her somehow; wanted to fight him, etc etc. I didn't wanna listen to anybody telling me those routes just weren't the way to go. Eventually though I just had to accept it and realized everything Rich is saying is correct. Move on and keep your eyes open so it (hopefully) doesn't happen again. My life is so much better now that I don't care as much

This guy made so many beta moves he would probably lose the duel he wants to propose anyway
but the mere fact of him doing it might be enough to get some of his self respect back. I've gotten into more than a few scraps I had no chance of winning for that fact alone.
Some guys messed with my bike once, 5 of them, I took em all on lol. I came away with some bruises, one ended up with a broken wrist and another was walking crooked for a week (nailed him square in the cojones lol).
When I caught them they drove off, then turned around and came back because I was mouthing off to them. Got out of the car, started pushing and shoving "what chu gonna do" then all piled into the car again, I looked around, grabbed a decent sized rock, put it through the back window lol. 30 years ago and I still remember the look on the guy's faces in the back seat "he didn't just do that"???lol
They all piled out, driver came at me, took a swing, I grabbed his wrist and pulled him over my shoulder, 2nd guy went to take a swing, he's the guy I nailed in the nuts (he was running as he went to throw the punch) The driver was the one with the broken wrist, he put his hand down to break his fall and broke it........3 4 and 5 mobbed me and took me down, took the boots to me for a bit, a buddy and two chicks pulled them off, I stood up smiling....Funny thing? the two chicks and even my buddy looked at me with a little more respect after that.

i remember confronting my exes cheat guy, he was kind of scared and apologized, he said he didnt know we were still together, she told him it was over and we were going thru a divorce, he broke it off with her, he told me he went thru the same thing with his ex, and im no longer going to pursuit this. 2 days later i received divorce papers, AND a year earlier i got her a job at my company, what a mess. so i had to work with my cheating ex. unreal.

If he was my buddy, I'd tell him to either forget it all and just go on with your life, or find another job. He's wasting time on things that don't mean anything and he's contemplating doing something stupid over things that don't mean anything, which is a double waste of time.

For the guy in this situation,.. Please, for yourself, *forget about that other guy involved.* I know all too well this kind of thing.. So in short, just listen to what Rich is saying in the video response. Get fit, work on yourself, your dreams. Disconnect your relations with this cheating no good woman. My wife pissed me off once, and I went to read her the Riot Act. But I pulled out the Miranda rights by mistake and read that to her. Once I realized my mistake. the only option I had was to book her.
I had a guy get in my face in the parking lot at my work one day because he thought his girlfriend was cheating on him with me. I worked the same shift as her and yes she was flirty at times but I didn’t respond because my wife was much better looking and always faithful. He got in my face and said I better not talk to her anymore because he was gonna kick my ass. I am 6’4” 250lbs he was 5’6” at best. scrawny and insecure as hell. I told him trust me pal if I was fucking her she would be throwing rocks at you and kicking you to the curb. She’d be in love. He actually started crying and I just got in my car and left. He obviously had issues and I wasn’t about to deal with it
