Taking a break from the coal plant, I head back to CRADLE to design some blueprints, make some hexagonal steps, make a starter steel factory on the soil, and even build a basic hypertube cannon to get from CRADLE to the coal power plant.

The series, as a whole, will be a how to, tutorial, beginner's guide, tips and trick, blueprints, design better factories, and everything else in between for the game Satisfactory. Early access is over and we're into the full 1.0 release of the game. The full story, all the tiers and milestones are ready for us to explore. Be efficient!
I've been really enjoying the chrome colors, my only gripe with it is there not being a purchasable customizable one from the awesome shop. Id love to accent with bronze, brass, silvers and titaniums with just a colorable metal paint. I find though, the best way to go with that is to tinker with the glossy in a pallete and make the colors duller or darker. I go with a kinda burnished copper and black for most machines, copper for primary on walls steel for my secondary and silver blues for the lovely accenting! Brass and bronze are also fantastic. You're the reason I started decorating my factories in the first place anyway, so its always nice to get a dose of building advice like the stair stack! Thanks for always giving me some satisfactory content to look forward too!

Are those metallic skins colorable? I was excited to buy them but then didn't play with them much.

The cradle tower always looks so epic in the background of your shots, I can't wait to see what else you do with it!
I hate hate hate the second tower and the arms. But I'm with you, I love the big single tower. Maybe I should...grow it. Put all the factories inside of it. I do like the smaller factories scattered around it though. I'm torn.

36:24 Stack the splitters. use elevators, THEY CAN SNAP 1 AWAY. They look like cute little mini elevators too. I have all my load balancers using elevators and some snapped short.
Making them compact also a lot of work :) using the right order and right way to connect and later realise FUCK opposite way was need.... here I go again :)
Do you have a pattern that works easily? Maybe I should just try it. I'm probably overthinking it.

My last playthrough I used F.A.R.T. boxes. I'm sure many others settled on a similar design as I've not heard them called that before. Makes things look really clean. Never thought to blue print them. If I start using them in 1.0, I may have to do that.
Someone else called them Junction Boxes and that makes more sense. It's a callback joke to this short I recently did: ruclips.net/user/shortsTB91Qsxu5cU
But really, fart box is just an innuendo/childish joke, because the first person I saw use these goes by "farty" online.

Thanks for the video. Petition to name Mk 5 FART boxes "Thunderdomes". Yeah SMM working again was a nice surprise (no more night, huzzah! ). Still looking forward to SF+ dropping and having a go at that again. I think some of the SF+ items are already on the satisfactory calculator website, and if that is indeed the case, it looks like SF+ 1.0 is not going to be any gentler than with update 8 (She be nuts!!). Take care.
I'm excited for it, too. I'm still avoiding looking at any of the beta releases for the new SF+ stuff. I want to go in fresh again.

Nice video! I think you have to be in blueprint mode to mass dismantle the blueprints. Maybe, I haven't tried it

Thanks so much! I was working on it for weeks before 1.0 released. It grew to be too long so I only include in every few episodes.

What can I say? You inspire me.
You can barely fit 2 mergers/splitters in one of the boxes. Tight squeeze but works.
You can also, just about, fit an eletric Pylon on top of one.
I can't remember what I was trying to do in testing that made me just stop trying to put mergers in. Of course you can fit one or two inside and use it. I think I was trying to do too much at once.

That's a good idea. Do you pre-run internal belts in them?
