  • A "Cyclotron" Hypertube Launcher lets you get huge speeds with only 3 Hypertube Entrances - but the only design I knew stopped working with Satisfactory 1.0.
Luckily, I figured out how to fix it up with a little precise placement so that it works again, albeit with a bit of jank. Plus, a tip on using it to return home.
Just a quick, unedited and unscripted set of instructions + demo!

Tried about 5 different circular hyper tune designs and this was the only one that worked

to make this more consistent, you want to make the exit ramp aligned with the entrance you shoot out from. Which means after placing your exit ramp 8 ticks away from previous entrance, you need to nudge it .5 ticks to perfectly align with the far entrance.
doing this should allow for a consistent exit everytime although results may vary. thanks for posting the video!

I played around with that before posting, and it didn't seem to make a difference, so I decided to simplify the tutorial a bit :)
The inconsistency seems to be entirely with the "loop" part and not with the exit, in my experience, but I could be wrong. I only researched it until it worked well enough for my purposes!

i like this design.... think i found the pattern. it depends on the direction of entrance placement. so the design you made shoots you backwards while inverting it shoots you forwards.

For the return trip from a random spot, I'd make a blueprint version including the biomass burner. Then do a blueprint deconstruction selection.
I haven't tried yet. But I don't think there's a range limit once objects are selected? Or maybe it could be render distance?

I've noticed that holding forward when going in and looping makes it more likely you go out the canon/correct direction, still not 100% though but definetly more than not holding it.

I did every step perfectly, but my launcher is not even starting the loop action to launch me out. It keeps kicking me out every time i get in. :(
