    Would highly recommend to anyone to just play around with entrances and lengths of hypertubes, as well as angles. It is adjustable to the point that any cannon can get you anywhere on the map perfectly.

      All the QoL features added in 1.0 were amazing. I think there's a mod that'll automatically remove this fighting...I wonder why they didn't include something officially.

    Maybe make a blueprint for the hexa-door with lights? Takes only 3-5 min to add lights manually, but if you're going to do it more than twice you might as well make a blueprint. Reminder: you can filter the objects you are coloring with the g key. I've been doing a lot of painting lately and I keep forgetting about it. lol edit: commented too soon, you do it at the end of the video

      @@BEDplaysGAMES It couldn't have come at a better time for me honestly, I've been feeling uninspired and not been able to get much done in my game, so it was awesome to see you going to work and having fun with the building process. The 50 minutes flew by! As long as you're having fun in the game, the contents or structure of the episode doesn't matter to me in the slightest. Hope that helps :)

      Nope, it'll work! Because at no single point does any pipe need to pass more than 300 cubic meters of water per minute. It wouldn't work if you combined all 3 extractors in a single spot, but having 2 feed opposite ends you can put the third input anywhere.

      I hope so, too! I use foundations as walls most of the time because of this. Concrete walls are so bland and boring. Do you know about coloring foundations? In case you don't, check this out: ruclips.net/user/shortsSxrjY9T1gC0 There's a color version as well, you can make all kinds of awesome and beautiful colors with foundations that are actually vibrant. Sadly it doesn't work on concrete walls either.

      I don't worry about that. Almost nobody hits it, and if you do, you can just raise it and still play, most of the time. I hit it on purpose once, it's an impossibly large amount of items.

    You can barely fit 2 mergers/splitters in one of the boxes. Tight squeeze but works. You can also, just about, fit an eletric Pylon on top of one.

    Sandwich style factories. 4 1m foundations, delete 2 inner ones, walls snap cleanly and allows you to hide spaghetti lines inside the sandwich layer. While factory production buildings are on top of each layer and then you can cleanly bring them up via the walls on the exterior of each layer. Scalti designs

    Thanks for the video. Petition to name Mk 5 FART boxes "Thunderdomes". Yeah SMM working again was a nice surprise (no more night, huzzah! ). Still looking forward to SF+ dropping and having a go at that again. I think some of the SF+ items are already on the satisfactory calculator website, and if that is indeed the case, it looks like SF+ 1.0 is not going to be any gentler than with update 8 (She be nuts!!).       I love your tip! If you enter dismantle mode, press R to switch to deleting entire blueprints, you can even middle click to sample blueprints.

      I hate hate hate the second tower and the arms. But I'm with you, I love the big single tower. Maybe I should...grow it. Put all the factories inside of it. I do like the smaller factories scattered around it though. I'm torn.

    I've been really enjoying the chrome colors, my only gripe with it is there not being a purchasable customizable one from the awesome shop. Id love to accent with bronze, brass, silvers and titaniums with just a colorable metal paint. I find though, the best way to go with that is to tinker with the glossy in a pallete and make the colors duller or darker. I go with a kinda burnished copper and black for most machines, copper for primary on walls steel for my secondary and silver blues for the lovely accenting! Brass and bronze are also fantastic. You're the reason I started decorating my factories in the first place anyway, so its always nice to get a dose of building advice like the stair stack! Thanks for always giving me some satisfactory content to look forward too!

    Nice video! I think you have to be in blueprint mode to mass dismantle the blueprints. Maybe, I haven't tried it

    My last playthrough I used F.A.R.T. boxes. I'm sure many others settled on a similar design as I've not heard them called that before. Makes things look really clean. Never thought to blue print them. If I start using them in 1.0, I may have to do that.

    36:24 Stack the splitters. use elevators, THEY CAN SNAP 1 AWAY. They look like cute little mini elevators too. I have all my load balancers using elevators and some snapped short.

    Set up a merger add a storage container and dump excess material in it. Wait for 2* x + 1 minutes where x is amount of machines. For 8 it would be like 20 min.

    It might look better but it's also 4x as much objects for the same building. It's more expensive and it's also heavier to render.

      You're not alone voicing that concern. I'm not worried about it. How do you know it's heavier to render? It'd be cool to know the math for stuff like that. And I'd love to see the uobject count for the items. Is it possible that 1m walls only require 1/4 the rendering of 4m walls, making them the same? I don't know anything about stuff like that, but I'd like to know.

      @@BEDplaysGAMES basically every object is rendered on its own. things like walls, foundations and all the machinery are dynamically loaded and rendered every time you get near a new area. Then, every time you look around you all those objects that fall outside of your field of view are unloaded again. This basically keeps going all the time. All those objects in the world, they all have individual lighting (and thus shadow) and shader calculations that happen every time they get loaded in and every time lighting conditions in the game change, for example, whenever the sun changes its position. When you use 1m walls instead of the normal 4m walls it means all those lighting, shadow and shader calculations have to be done atleast 4 times more often. I say atleast because if other objects cast a shadow on your walls, for example, that only adds to the amount of calculations that need to be done. Now a lot here can be optimized, i believe connecting objects like walls and foundations are actually rendered as one big project once they've all been loaded, it didn't use to be like that way back but that got fixed, however, calculating which objects belong to the bigger meshes also takes cpu time, so its only really a shift from your gpu to the cpu. Then there also the object cap, which is insanely high and almost impossible to hit on unreal engine 5. But people had serious issues with that on unreal engine 4 tho, there were people that were unable to keep playing the game because the game engine (URE4) was at its limits by the amount of objects to keep track of.
