    You don’t have automatic payment setup through your insurance fam?

      Unfortunately I don’t. I don’t do auto payment unless I have to because I’ve had instances in the past where errors were made and it can be a hassle sometimes getting your funds back.

    Hi every one the company with 2 years experience transferred to my name the FMCSA gave me new USDOT# but 3 days ago FMCSA attached the New USADOT with old MC# but now my company status shows not authorized but FMCSA didn't inform me why now it shows inactive I am cafuose it could be the old Insurance with old USDOT. If I get New insurance some people say your company is inactive if you activate it. it will show new to brockers they won't give load they treated you like new carrier your past 2 years experience not visible to them .please advice me is this correct?

      I’m not sure exactly what took place here. It sounds like the original insurance policy may have lapsed which will cause your authority to go inactive. There insurance company typically gives a grace period before they submit it to the FMCSA.
      Changing insurance companies won’t cause your authority to go inactive. I’ve had 3 different company and didn’t experience going inactive. Call the FMCSA directly. They don’t have a problem with assisting people over the phone. They actually have AMAZING customer service.

    I made my insurance payment late. Now it's been 3 weeks and I still can't get my insurance broker to send FMCSA my active insurance. He keeps telling me he's working on it and never calls me back.

      @@GRINDTIMETRUCKING Yeah I'm actively looking for different insurance. I usually can't ever get them on the phone and it's rare if they reply to my emails. I was just sitting in OKC for 2 weeks and finally just drove home to CA. I'm so angry and I don't even know if there's anything I can do about it. I have had my authority since Dec 2021. I looked on FMCSA and it says non-active. I ve called FMCSA and they said once insurance says I have insurance I have to pay 80 to activate my authority.

    Happened to me. Insurance provider didn’t report on my companies behalf and I caught it at the last minute. $80 reinstatement fee and a date reset of my authority.

      @@GRINDTIMETRUCKING I don’t wanna put their name out there. However, this is public information and can be researched if you know where to look. But from my observation it appears that other carriers have had the same issues with them pertaining to reporting insurance requirements to the FMCSA.

      I believe only thing you can do is make the minimum payment to stop the cancellation
