    Feel so bad for him
Deepan missed the only counterplay left in the position

I was wondering why the bar was not fully white at the end but just found there is some defence with Bh2 followed by Rf5

Good one. I was also thinking the same. The only try I see is
      1...Bh2 2. Rxh2 Rf5+
If 3. gxf5, then 3... Kxf5 Black at least escapes immediate mate and with connected passers on 'b4' and 'c3', Black can still pose some problems. (haven't calculated but seems to be only practical try).
If 3. Kg3 Rd3+ 4. Kg2 Rxf2+ 5. Kxf2 Rd2+ and 6... Rxh2. Again with connected passers on 'b4' and 'c3', Black can still pose some questions (again not calculated completely but seems to be only practical try).

sheer overconfidence..you are so focussed on winning that you start to release hold on other side.. Fabulous defence and surgical strike..
if you are in winning position dont delay matter for better strangle hold..
