This video really shows how Carlsen's famous grinding endgame technique. Needless to say he anticipated the a pawn being lost in advance, and translated that advantage into a king activity advantage. As Kasparov says, Magnus has the same talent as Karpov: "minimum resources always produce maximum effect".
True, he is amazing. Watching from Boris perspective, almost feels like Magnus literally bullies the opponent with his moves, not a single minute to breath.
People generally watch any RUclips video for 3-4 minutes and drop. But yours one is too much interesting and engaging. Chess game + your commentary. Great combo.
3:23 why not go queen d5 check winning the knight an bishop for 1 rock?.. isnt that a good trade? considered the queen ending up on d4 with some threats of bishop h6 ?
One of Magnus’s most underrated yet strongest abilities is his relentlessness. He’s always trying to win, long after many players even many grandmasters have become complacent, Magnus ist still screaming, trying to find any possible placement of pieces in order to win. 🤔🤯😮💨
Side note: Magnus adjusts his pieces after his clock has been started. To me, this seems like the polite thing to do, tbh. His opponent has been sitting there politely waiting for him to arrive. It would be kinda douchey to show up as the game is supposed to be starting and then go "let me just stretch out, adjust my pieces, really get settled in. You can just wait on me some more." Doing it on the clock seems like he respects his opponent's time.

We talking about the greatest chess player of all time...even kasparov or fisher is no match for Magnus deep theoretical in the strongest endgame ever.

Just for information, Carlsen knows the whole encyclopedia of chess endgame by heart.

Magnus Carlsen doesn't need opening theory. Opening theory needs Magnus Carlsen.
Can we just get a moment and appreciate how amazing the commentator/creator is? Applause.
Love sagars commentary
Magnus grinds his opponent very well, checking their stamina and toughness.

Me encanta cómo desglosas los conceptos de trading en algo fácil de entender. ¡Gran trabajo!
At 3:30 why didn't White's Queen take the pawn? Qxe7 instead of Qd3

Why would Magnus not play Knight to d5 at 9:18 in the video? Is it not a move that put the castle and King in a prong?
It loses a knight, the king takes the rook, the knight takes the rook and then the king takes the knight and hes down a piece
you wanna know why?
3:23 why not go queen d5 check winning the knight an bishop for 1 rock?.. isnt that a good trade? considered the queen ending up on d4 with some threats of bishop h6 ?
Because the pawn on e7 blocks the check by coming to e6
I had no idea what I was doing before, but now I feel more confident.

He is polite...till he loses a match, his tantrums are pretty funny sometimes.
These are mindgames he has learnt from gary kasparov
Stop complaining about minor things .
Magnus ❤️❤️❤️
¡Gran contenido sobre cómo hacer backtesting! Estoy empezando a aplicarlo y ya veo mejoras.👖
Great game great final
9:23 im confused why Magnus didn't plat Nd6 forkk
because the other guy would take the rook
Well played boris
Maybe time pressure
I'm trying to understand the game better - why wasn't the pawn at e7 taken @3:27?
White is lagging behind in development. So if you take on e7, it allows Re8 and Black gets even further ahead.
Good game and good commentary, laughed my ass of cause of the accent :D in a good way lol
Thanks to your video, I feel confident to trade!
Pls explain 5:46
The rook to d4?
„Nooo, it’s a blunder!” - my favourite one😂
2:58 Fatal blunder
Every trader should start with you!
In this endgame magnus would have given a fork to king and rook ,although he wins but fork was a better option

More of a blunder by Boris than Magnus s genius in that game. That should have easily been a draw for black.
