Great explanation. I love that Kevin and Momoko screams together fist in Are you ready (Kevin first part) Momoko second part and everybody Sha and Nico’s voice match so good together ❤❤❤
The pause at the 12:00 mark (earlier than that, actually, I know, but...) is so perfect. Just because you have MomoMetal and Su-Metal smiling and looking straight into the camera and MoaMetal, as always, looking anywhere _BUT_ the camera. 😂😂😂
Really informative reaction in a way I've not seen before. And yeah, there is a behind the scenes video in the works. Def looking forward to that. Great job!
Found you from the Hi Ren video but as soon as you said you covered more metal, I went searching for this one. Love the visuals breakdown of such an awesome video. Thanks so much 😊😊
Yes, they did it again! Such a great video, and you're right, that song is so damn catchy! I love how well Babymetal fit into the madness of Electric Callboy. This was a bit out of their comfort zone, but they crushed their part too. Their acting and personalities really shined.
The song is amazing, the video is amazing, and the live performance at FOX_FEST was amazing. I love everything about this collab. Everyone involved seemed to be having such a good time with it, so I have high hopes for a future collab between the two groups again. The wall breaking sequence was a single take for each wall. They only had one wall due to the limited budget, so they had to make it work first time. From what Nico and Kevin said in their reaction to the reactions video, there is a bit of clever editing to make it all work.
...almost forgot Daniel who is the main guitar player does mixing mastering and pretty much all sound engineering and song writing. He might not be most social person but probs to him. It's him what makes EC sound how they sound.
Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥 It's always nice to see more reactors getting into this amazing group, they're a global phenomenon from Japan and trust me you have seen nothing yet. Here's a brief info about this amazing group: BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal". They are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 21 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. -YuiMetal- scream and dance, former member since 2018. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said. There's no other group like them around and teaming up with this group from Germany just elevated them even higher. If you like Jpop and edm elements then you gonna find a lot of cool songs blended with heavy metal in their latest album "The Other One" released last year. Songs like Divine Attack - Shingeki, METALIZM, Time Wave and Light and Darkness among other great songs as well tracks and live performance from early era will make you bounce and rock with this insane group. Last weekend of May they did the live premiere of this song in Japan at FOX_FEST (a festival held by BM) and everyone went wild with this collab. The girl in the middle is the lead singer SuMetal and she actually dance less than the other girls (MoaMetal and MomoMetal) because she sings most of the time but regardless she can dance and sing and you won't even notice she's out of breath. About this song: This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions, the office with the suits workers and the Japanese boss kinda represent that. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus but it's probably used way back before in more songs. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. The moment when they're breaking the wall is another homage to Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres like I already said. Also one of the singers is holding up the cable with electricity during the breakdown is a reference to "The Cable Guy" movie. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although fans spotted in the live version, so it was her after all. Love the euro dance and trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Fun fact: EC said in a reactor comment and later in a reaction video they released yesterday that they did the bursting the walls scene in one shot, so only two times for each wall, there will be a bts so we're waiting for more. This was filmed in Germany and the crew had to put all those disco ball on the celling manually just for this song. Next suggestion: - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official MV I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it. See you next time 🦊🤘🐭

Thank you so much for sharing all of this!!! I don't react to live videos, so if they have any music videos out of these that are your fave let me know, I'd love to get into Babymetal more! Thank you!
@@manondereeper Oh I see, well they don't make this types of MV with so much stage setup so I guess one of their classic hits when they were young is "Megitsune" official MV that would be great for your type of analysis on filming, alternatively if you already know the song the girls did a commentary vid talking about it and little things about the bts. They also did another collab prior to this RATATATA along with F.Hero and Bodyslam called "Leave It All Behind" which is a great song with beautiful background images but the stage setup is with green screen, there are also a bts with interview at High Cloud Entertainment about it if you want to see more details. Anyway great job and I'm glad to have you with this unique analysis reaction we're not used seeing so often.🦊🤘❤️
@@manondereeper Megitsune is a great suggestion, if you want to see Babymetal's lowest budget video (the first one): Doki Doki Morning MV. You might be able to spot how they cut costs, etc. which most other people won't really notice, etc.
Great Reaction You only missed the remarkable turn from Nico and Kevin at the end 😜 Please make some Reactions to there Making Of Videos. I think it would be interesting to hear some of your views as a filmmaker. EC explain also a lot of how the videos are made in the Reactions to Reactions Videos.
@22:32 When I was in high school I had Britney and Spice Girls and Kittie and Static X lol.. so finding Babymetal/callboy is still such a good blend to me 🫡
One of the things I picked up one straight away was colour association - silver for Electric Callboy, and gold for BABYMETAL. And I don't just mean, like, outfits (obviously those though) but lighting as well.
Yeah it's a 50/50 collab, Nico and Kevin did a video and said the last section was due to Babymetal. Also they said they had a really low budget so they only had one take at going through the walls. Whatever happened, if they fell down, they were going to use.
YEah music videos usually don't have a large enough budget (or enough time) to do more than one take, so the stakes are always very high to get it right! A little nervewracking, but very exciting.
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛 and congratulations! BABYMETAL will return to your state, CA (Anaheim), on Dec.3 /4 (House of Blues). I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 🤣. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍 Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?
Electric Callboy are the most entertaining band in the world right now, not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs that fill audiences with a euphoria 😃🤘
I wonder if the wet floors were a fire suppression protocol? They have a lot of pyro in parts of this video and a wet floor would help quench any stray embers. It is obviously quite smoky in the studio which adds to Nico and Su's mysterious encounter with the enormous disco ball. Baby Metal is also seen dancing and splashing on the golden lit wet floor.
Lots of great info on how it's done . You should check out the BabyMetal lighting for their shows. It might impress you 😁 Plus, how BabyMetal works on a low budget in the beginning With Doki Doki Morning mv 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Well and since we now had 2 behind the scenes videos. They had 3 Walls, for three stunt scenes. So Electric Callboy was instructed. It has to work on the first take. If someone bleeds you continue playing. 2nd problem neatly no Budget. Neither a video script or even the songvwere ready. They started Filming because Babymetal was on the plane. So everything was improvised, but luckiöy zhey were taught by Sakura Gakuin to improvise in front of the Camera. The Song was finished on the third day of Shooting and the last two scenes were Nico and Su's love scenes and Kevins Wireplay.
7:45 - not really all about Babymetal as the four musicians in the back of the stage are from Electric Callboy - and I love how they decided to include the whole band, not only the singers In the credits for the video you can see that yes, the lighting for the shoot was delivered by their on tour light director Patrick :) EC promised a BTS video so I'm sure we will get more details there ;)
Heh, On their reaction to the reactors Kevin and Nico were bemoaning the fact that they only got one take to break through the walls b/c the budget was so tight.
ありがとう🦊 More BABYMETAL please!! As for videos, I think BABYMETAL's live videos, Leave it all behind in collaboration with F.Hero, Kingslayer in collaboration with Bring me the horizon, and official music videos of Metali and Monochrome are interesting! 🔥🤘🦊 From🇯🇵
Kingslayer was one of my fave songs of the year when it came out! So much fun. I don't react to live videos so if there's any music videos (with more than just the band performing), please leave your recommendations!
@@manondereeper It is difficult to choose a recommendation because I like all the songs, but I chose a few from a visual point of view. All are Official MV(Live). BABYMETAL - METAL KINGDOM (OFFICIAL) BABYMETAL 【THE ONE - STAIRWAY TO LIVING LEGEND】 BABYMETAL - METALIZM (OFFICIAL) BABYMETAL - DA DA DANCE (feat. Tak Matsumoto) (OFFICIAL)
they already perform it live together at Fox Fest (in Japan). u can find a fancam. Btw i think this collab was Babymetal initiative. They doing lots of collabs last year. n a way, Electric Callboy and Babymetal do similar things - combining metal, dance, pop, and fun. So this collab is very suitable for both bands. Stylistically it's a little more like a Callboy song. Still, Babymetal's songs sound different. But Babymetal feels right at home here.
It's cool that even us adults can enjoy this young trend of music. Big difference compared to the Metallica's, Iron Maiden's and Zeppelin of the past. I'm 56 and I'm loving this wave of Japanese rock. If you're needing some more tube light action, there's all kinds in the video for "Blooming" by another great Japanese hard rock group, Band Maid. Another group called Hanabie, check out their video for, Pardon me I Have to Go Now. 🤘
Thanks for the reaction, well analysis actually. One of the things I was wondering is: did they choose disco helmets because they were gonna be breaking through walls ? Because it's sort of a stunt. 🙂 An other thing I wondered is: the part with the big disco ball, it almost seems like they used something like a fish eye lens (I have no ide what type, it's the only term I know), I think it some kind of distorted view. 19:00 they actually said in their own reaction video on the official channel, maybe this part was actually a bit to dark. 20:35 now THAT would really make them very happy, because they felt intimidated by Babymetal's presence/performance. 21:28 and 21:40 this is a question that came up among fans who aren't used to seeing it: why is the floor wet ? We've seen a couple of different reasons mentioned online, but would be interesting to have your take on it. Babymetal has a huge, very diverse fan base, including little kids, especially girls. 25:15 maybe it's because they added glasses which adds some contrast and then probably did something with yellow lights ?
Thank you for calling it an analysis! Lol. I try to go in-depth. Love your note about the disco ball helmets - definitely see a practical use there! Smart costuming: safe and looking cool lol. What you're referring to is a "wide angle lens", depending on how wide it can distort the view. E.g. a "normal" lens, like cinematic looking, is 24mm and up, all the way down to 14mm depending on the make and quality of the lens you can get really wide angle with only minimal distortion, a fisheye is usually 8-10mm where it looks completely round (which is not what we're seeing in this video). Honestly I'm not seeing anything crazy wide angle, just probably a 24mm used from a little distance to give us a lot of room. But I could be totally wrong! 19:00 I like that darkness a lot! really makes it pop 20:35 I can't believe that, hahaha! 21:28 wow, I hadn't noticed that! Perhaps they tried some water effects that didn't work? I don't know! What I will say, what I know from working on sets (as in, out and about in the world rather than a stage) they will sometimes wet an alleyway or a street, because it looks more interesting, cinematically - you can bounce light off of water beautifully and get some more reflections and texture in your shot that way. But it doesn't really seem to have a cinematic purpose here because I don't see that happening.
Okay so these questions come up very often so let me explain a bit: The whole music video was shot on Atlas Orion Anamorphics. We mainly used the 25mm which is an equivalent of 25mm vertically and 12,5mm horizontally. This adds the effect described above. You get a very wide angle but at the same time you compress vertically. 19:00 The darkness actually is on purpose so everything shiny pops. 🪩If you look closely, Su in the beginning gets the same amount of light and in her part the moving heads behind her rise and illuminate her more. 21:28: we used the wet floor indeed for the lighting effects. What we managed to get was a darker floor that is highly reflective to give the image more depth and fits the dark room a lot better. You can see it very well in the scene with the large disco ball! :) have a look at the first shot from the original video for example at 1:57 where you have the floor mirroring the whole set. Hope this helps! If you have any more questions so hit me up! I’m happy to help! :)
Subscribed. An awesomely awesome performance. These two amazing bands always deliver 🔥🔥🔥 and 😁😁😁 Good reaction. BABYMETAL has some awesome MVs.🦊 🖖❤ BABYMETAL - メギツネ - MEGITSUNE (OFFICIAL) BABYMETAL - KARATE (OFFICIAL)
Can't believe you missed how cool Kevin at the end turned around. Has a lot of James Bond. But don't worry, I only noticed it yesterday. Still a great reaction. In their react to reactor vid they pointed out, they had only one take, as bad as might be, for bursting through the wall. The shot with the big disco ball remind me of some science fiction stuff, which I still not get what exactky it is. Did you noticed the water on the stage. Is it intentionally or turned on the sprinkler on due the fireworks?
dont take input from their reaction n spoiler videos too serious. they enjoy lying about stuff. :D wait for the making off instead. German official language is sarcasm for a reason. :D
Asian market is another huge srguments. Babymetal is the International most successful japanese Band. But in japsn thex srevquite a distance from the top After the Us japan is the second biggest matket worldwide, three is Germany.
in this case it is wrong the breaking of the wall was always done in just one take, in the reaction they made, at 16:00 he talks about the walls 1 take per wall, and other situations. ruclips.net/video/9CQGZ51vgo8/видео.html&ab_channel=ElectricCallboy
I don't know! I haven't tried it yet, maybe it's something I could do on a live-stream on Twitch so I can watch together with people and we can talk about it real time!
So just to let you know, the break through wall scenes, they had to do it in one take, because they did not have more walls. So before the shoot, the Brothers told them: You have to make it in one take, no matte what happen it will be in the video. This is pretty funny, because first I was also imagining how often they broke the walls and had fun. But now we know, they were 2 one takes. Luckely they were good enough. Edit: And they said it was not only because of the budget, but also because the Schillos are so lazy. hahah
Schillo bros. Pascal who plays guitar in the band is other of the schillo bros. So they are have came a long way from, let's say hypa hypa. Saved 2020 but quality of videos they put up is insane nowadays. Ofc there's more budget but still.
Yeah I love their work! I also did a deconstruction of the video the Schillo Bros did for Any Given Day, if you're keen to check it out! It's on my channel.
most of their videos are made by the schillow brothers. thing is one of those two is a band member as well. so yea they always have stage performance in mind too. btw if you want some background "tank the tech" another youtuber is currently their bandmanager and he has quite a few vlogs on his channel bout what happens back stage. awesome insight. :D
Schillo Bros! \m/ Love their work a lot - I've also done a reaction/analysis for the great video they did for Any Given Day on my channel, and I did one for We Got The Moves, too! I'm a long-time enjoyer of Tank's work too, he's a large inspiration for how I'm approaching this channel! Love all the stuff he's doing with EC. Good for him! I learned a lot from him about the music world and it's really increased my respect for touring musicians a million-fold, alongside befriending some musicians that do big tours!
The EC team in general tends to be very reactor friendly, so don't hesitate to reach out to the label or whoever is responsible for the copyright claims and ask for it to be unblocked.
I realized that after I resumed the video too lol - I wasn't sure yet if they filmed it in Germany or Japan but when I continued playing the video I realized there were a variety of people at the table 😁 so you know my first watch is genuine 🤷♀️🫠
It seems like they do real sets instead of green screen most of the time, so I would not be shocked if the office windows were basically prints, plausibly behind glass/Lexan. Plus it seems like the dust of breaking though the wall might be a pain for green screen tech.
Hey hey 👋 yes correct. It was an 12x5m LED Screen with a slightly animated image. It covered most of Background so we were able to shoot inside the room that was specifically build for the shoot.
@@fbwg_ DAMMIT! I wanted to say it looked like a LED screen because it looked like it was different images, and because it looked like it was tracking with the camera too (was it?? Or was that just the animation making me think it was) Such a cool setup. Love it.
@@manondereeper It actually was the same image. We just white balanced the different moods from the office set to the karaoke set so it has a slight color shift to it. It was no Volume so the background was not tracked to the camera motion.
They say that, but it is clearly in style and sound way more a typical Electric Callboy song than a typical BabyMetal song. What else would or could they say? It would be arrogant and rude to say anything but "Yeah, it was a totally equal 50/50 collaboration." Fact is that the 3 girls flew to Germany to record the song and film the video with Electric Callboy in their studio, without their own band and also "Ratatatata" means something in German, but not in Japanese. I'm not saying BabyMetal didn't contribute anything. Obviously the Japanese lyrics and the choreography is from them, but the whole thing looks and sounds a lot more like a 70/30 or even 80/20 thing, than a 50/50 thing.
@@TrangleC if you could find the video where electric callboy watch reactions from this song , they will say it clearly that it is a 50/50 collab.ruclips.net/video/9CQGZ51vgo8/видео.html
@@TrangleC Haha, glad you cleared it up. They are really gentlemen then. Of course its more EC style song. Babymetal can fit into any genre. But not the other around i think. Collab this way is obviously the best way to do it
I think a lot of the RUclips copyright purgatory situations often tend to be video based, thus why you see some reactors putting watermarks over the actual video's - this of course would make your content hard to produce. But i suspect it might be because you only have a little bubble of your face and the rest is the video.
You underestimare Babymetal. The fist thing they bought after they had a Band: a lighting expert. But zheir dresses are nothing special. Thos are their typical dresses that they wear since april 2023 , they wear them on stage in interviews... everywhere where they are at work. And their dresses are also their armour, they pretty much garNtee that no one recognizes them whe they are ot at work.. the real purpose of these reflective foils: confuse the cameras of Smartphones. When they reflect lasers and such things they confuse the smartphones since they can"t guess the correct whitepoint and can't guess what normal light is and which colors hit their Bayer-chips. So you can't sell these recordings. And yes they are Kawai, but this happened recently. In their videoshoots they don't hide behind their stage persoas. A further advantage of the new Bab,metal.. And no, according to Nico and Kevin they had to use the first takes, no reshoot possible within the budget. And we have to co sider another problem, if you want to put them on the same stage you are in forced perspective territory. The girls have a huge stage presence but they are tiny. Abd this video obviously showed Momo, that her talent might mean much more to Babymetal, than a small Joke. She now talks about her fangs.
What a cool turn at the end by Nico and Kevin!
Haha, somehow i think you watched the 'Reaction to the reactions' video. Somehow, i dont know.

At which point the boys burst in and say that a little more directly.
The girls without hesitation, join the boys that they seem to have lured into their trap. The boys then break through to a next and unknow level, and the girls feel compelled to follow, but they are unsure. Found you from the Hi Ren video but as soon as you said you covered more metal, I went searching for this one. Love the visuals breakdown of such an awesome video. Thanks so much 😊😊
Did you notice how cool Nico and Kevin are when they turn around?
They are ALWAYS cool!
Very interesting, great analysis thank you.🤘🦊
They had exactly one chance crushing the wall 😂😂
But did you notice how cool they looked when they turned away in the end??
Kevin was on fire with that turn!
That turn tho... SO fu@&ing cool! 😂😂😂
D*mn, you really said it😂😂😂😂
They said that they had one try for each wall breakthrough and if something strange happen let it be strange.
Fun Fact: On the second "Are You Ready" thats not either of the guys that is momometal (shes to the right of Su the main singer of babymetal)
Yes, they did it again! Such a great video, and you're right, that song is so damn catchy! I love how well Babymetal fit into the madness of Electric Callboy. This was a bit out of their comfort zone, but they crushed their part too. Their acting and personalities really shined.
100%!!!
And they sound Amazing!
Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥
It's always nice to see more reactors getting into this amazing group, they're a global phenomenon from Japan and trust me you have seen nothing yet.
Here's a brief info about this amazing group:
BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal".
They are:
*SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26.
About this song:
This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions, the office with the suits workers and the Japanese boss kinda represent that.
Next suggestion:
- Road Of Resistance live in Japan official MV
I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it.
See you next time 🦊🤘🐭
Here's the list of live performance clips usually safe to reacts without any filters so you won't need to rely on live compilations, there might be some exceptions:
- Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! live at Legend 1997, SuMetal 16th Birthday in 2013, they got MV of this and is fun, but live is a blast.
ruclips.net/video/LNFiDWJh2FA/видео.html
- Akatsuki, live at Budokan 2014, this is a SuMetal solo.
ruclips.net/video/g2372C5PJLM/видео.html
- Megitsune, official MV is my first recommendation but is usually blocked if you don't put filters, so if you want live and safe to react, check it out Budokan 2014.
ruclips.net/video/dU38CYkpBvI/видео.html
- Akatsuki Unfinished Version, SuMetal solo again but with only a piano behind special performance at Legend 1997.
ruclips.net/video/nwsinmxTxbo/видео.html
- Babymetal Death, live at Legend 1997, this is the big finale, you're gonna blow your mind with this one.
ruclips.net/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/видео.html
- Catch Me If You Can with Kami Band intro live at Budokan 2014.
ruclips.net/video/ng8U_j0gpLI/видео.html
- Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere Festival 2014, sometimes the official live MV isn't so friendly so you know what to do.
ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html
- Rondo Of Nightmare, with Mischiefs Of Metal Gods Intro live at Budokan 2014, another SuMetal solo but way different than usual happy songs.
ruclips.net/video/8WBDiLMNZcE/видео.html
- Doki Doki Morning, official MV, their very first song and MV full of kawaiiness, usually is safe to react so try it, if you want a live performance, this is the first proshot version with the Kami Band live at Legend 1999 (YuiMetal and MoaMetal 14th birthday).
ruclips.net/video/BSjv9OYtWZ0/видео.html
- Uki Uki Midnight, this one is a follow up to Doki Doki Morning but way different sound, this is the PV, is super fun but the sound isn't so great but at least is live.
ruclips.net/video/Yj-UQIlqsIQ/видео.html
If you want better sound with the Kami Band, then live at Budokan 2014 it is.
ruclips.net/video/ESzY9dL613Q/видео.html
- Onedari Daisakusen, live at Legend 1997, this is a Black Babymetal song, is a subgroup with only YuiMetal and MoaMetal.
ruclips.net/video/1dT1ywYR5So/видео.html
- Iine! again official MV hits way better but if you want live, here live at Budokan 2014.
ruclips.net/video/5sCvYVNeD0w/видео.html
- Karate live at Download Festival 2016, "kitsune6001" got this with a short interview intro.
ruclips.net/video/FKOL6v3Md2c/видео.html
- Road Of Resistance live in Japan official live MV, be careful with the blocked by putting some filters just in case.
ruclips.net/video/zTEYUFgLveY/видео.htmlsi=BsVOSExS25Qndy1H
- Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai - Answer For Animation With You, live at Budokan 2014, not sure if it's still safe, so try some filters, if is audio blocked try to mute or just cut the parts.
ruclips.net/video/M8FKumvh-w8/видео.html
Here's a song you can find at Babymetal Reactor Resource (BMRR), a helpful place to get watermarked logo clips of the original live version to curve the annoying algo.
- GJ! live at Wembley Arena 2016, another Black Babymetal song.
ruclips.net/video/Hg0Rylcg8F0/видео.html
This is BMRR short vid to follow instructions and get the spreadsheet with the full list.
ruclips.net/video/q40VmTHSh4c/видео.html
And here's a BM guide (the long one).
ruclips.net/video/aIb2xEthdSg/видео.htmlsi=EnEYU4nN3tuiY3WL
There's a beginners guide at "Briaghh" called "So... What is BabyMetal?" is more short and with some fair update until last year unlike the other one with full updates till this year.

I'll second the suggestion of reacting to the Megitsune official video!
@@manondereeper Megitsune is a great suggestion, if you want to see Babymetal's lowest budget video (the first one): Doki Doki Morning MV.
You might be able to spot how they cut costs, etc. which most other people won't really notice, etc.
Great Reaction
You only missed the remarkable turn from Nico and Kevin at the end 😜
Please make some Reactions to there Making Of Videos.
I think it would be interesting to hear some of your views as a filmmaker.
EC explain also a lot of how the videos are made in the Reactions to Reactions Videos.
Always fun to hang out with you!!! Thank you, Manon!
Thanks so much Doug! ❤️🙏
Reach out to Electric Callboy whenever you have Copyright problems.
The band HIGHLY encourages reaction videos. They love them and always Help!!
@22:32 When I was in high school I had Britney and Spice Girls and Kittie and Static X lol.. so finding Babymetal/callboy is still such a good blend to me 🫡
Yep Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys when i was younger and then i guess linkin park was my gateway drug 😂
One of the things I picked up one straight away was colour association - silver for Electric Callboy, and gold for BABYMETAL. And I don't just mean, like, outfits (obviously those though) but lighting as well.
Good catch!
EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍
Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?
Electric Callboy are the most entertaining band in the world right now, not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs that fill audiences with a euphoria 😃🤘
Well I was quite a bit surprized that Babymetal now added for their arena Tours ein ab 6 Jahre.
The Copyright flagging is one of life's biggest mysteries. No one knows how it works, I guess also neither RUclips nor the music companies.
You look like happy little bunny listening this 😍
I wonder if the wet floors were a fire suppression protocol? They have a lot of pyro in parts of this video and a wet floor would help quench any stray embers. It is obviously quite smoky in the studio which adds to Nico and Su's mysterious encounter with the enormous disco ball. Baby Metal is also seen dancing and splashing on the golden lit wet floor.
According to their DP, @fwbg_ here, it was a stylistic choice to get some more reflections and for the lights to play off of! Very cool!
I would love to see your reaction of Electric Callboys Hurrikan
Lots of great info on how it's done . You should check out the BabyMetal lighting for their shows. It might impress you 😁
Plus, how BabyMetal works on a low budget in the beginning
With Doki Doki Morning mv
😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I grew up with Genesis .Deep purple and Queen. This is Revitalise to me. I love it
Well and since we now had 2 behind the scenes videos.
It's so incredible they were able to put it off with half finished songs and barely a script haha! Just shows their experience.
Great explanation🤘🦊♪
7:45 - not really all about Babymetal as the four musicians in the back of the stage are from Electric Callboy - and I love how they decided to include the whole band, not only the singers
In the credits for the video you can see that yes, the lighting for the shoot was delivered by their on tour light director Patrick :)
EC promised a BTS video so I'm sure we will get more details there ;)
Heh, On their reaction to the reactors Kevin and Nico were bemoaning the fact that they only got one take to break through the walls b/c the budget was so tight.
ありがとう🦊
More BABYMETAL please!!
@@manondereeper
It is difficult to choose a recommendation because I like all the songs, but I chose a few from a visual point of view. All are Official MV(Live).
BABYMETAL - METAL KINGDOM (OFFICIAL)
BABYMETAL 【THE ONE - STAIRWAY TO LIVING LEGEND】
BABYMETAL - METALIZM (OFFICIAL)
BABYMETAL - DA DA DANCE (feat. Tak Matsumoto) (OFFICIAL)
Watch their reaction video on other reactors they made a few days ago. It explains a lot...😉
they already perform it live together at Fox Fest (in Japan). u can find a fancam.
So much fun! If you think about yes they definitely go together really really well - and they proved it!
You should look "Techno Train" and the making of in one Video. Would really be interesting. Or same with "hyper hyper"
I thought you'd catch the camera panning in on Momo-metal when she growls to indicate it's her lol
Did you see the water in two scenes (discoball) on the ground?
An other thing I wondered is: the part with the big disco ball, it almost seems like they used something like a fish eye lens (I have no ide what type, it's the only term I know), I think it some kind of distorted view.
19:00 I like that darkness a lot! really makes it pop
20:35 I can't believe that, hahaha!
Okay so these questions come up very often so let me explain a bit:
The whole music video was shot on Atlas Orion Anamorphics.
Excellent, you're on here too! Thanks Florian, I will tag you next time these questions come up! 🙏😁✌️
@@fbwg_ ohh, thank you very much for explaining, I'm post it on a fan forum as well, as the questions we had are answered now. 🙂
Nico and Kevin said it was 1 shot for each wall, since that what the oroduction allowed.
The shooting was a few days. Maybe 2? But more then 1.
You should react to BABYMETAL Live at PIA Arena particularly Monochrome, lots of amazing camera shots.

They had only one take to break through each wall, not multiple takes. Nico and Kevin confirmed that in their reaction to reactions video.
Still have to watch the reaction-reaction video!
dont take input from their reaction n spoiler videos too serious. they enjoy lying about stuff. :D wait for the making off instead.

Lighting design and production stuff I believe are done at least in part by Patrick Unger aka @pat.lampe who also does their stage lighting on tour
Love that - it looked like it! The stage part.
You were dissecting the video not the music so you can be forgiven for not noticing, but Momo did actually perform some of the growls!
They are so badass, I love these girls!
Asian market is another huge srguments. Babymetal is the International most successful japanese Band. But in japsn thex srevquite a distance from the top
After the Us japan is the second biggest matket worldwide, three is Germany.
...and here sound quality is ok.
in this case it is wrong the breaking of the wall was always done in just one take, in the reaction they made, at 16:00 he talks about the walls 1 take per wall, and other situations.
ruclips.net/video/9CQGZ51vgo8/видео.html&ab_channel=ElectricCallboy
Wouldn’t reaction to their making of videos make a lot of sense for you?
I don't know! I haven't tried it yet, maybe it's something I could do on a live-stream on Twitch so I can watch together with people and we can talk about it real time!
So just to let you know, the break through wall scenes, they had to do it in one take, because they did not have more walls. So before the shoot, the Brothers told them: You have to make it in one take, no matte what happen it will be in the video. This is pretty funny, because first I was also imagining how often they broke the walls and had fun. But now we know, they were 2 one takes. Luckely they were good enough. Edit: And they said it was not only because of the budget, but also because the Schillos are so lazy. hahah
Lazy!!! Lol. I doubt it, their videos dont look like anyone's lazy! 😁
They did a "reaction reaction" recently.
They said the wall stunt was a one and done.
I love that, and so well done! I still need to watch the reaction reaction.
@@manondereeper Electric Callboy did a reaction on the reactions. A lot of great information on the making of the MV.
Also Electric Callboy did a reaction to reaction Videos where they also talk about how they did the collab, ideas etc.
Cool guys don´t need doors!
@@fbwg_ Excellent!
It is not a electric callboy song. It's a 50/50 Collab with Babymetal. But , besides that, nice reaction
They say that, but it is clearly in style and sound way more a typical Electric Callboy song than a typical BabyMetal song.
What else would or could they say? It would be arrogant and rude to say anything but "Yeah, it was a totally equal 50/50 collaboration."
Fact is that the 3 girls flew to Germany to record the song and film the video with Electric Callboy in their studio, without their own band and also "Ratatatata" means something in German, but not in Japanese.
@@TrangleC Whose channel is the MV on?
@@onigiri9964 The channel the people who made it allowed it to be on to be gentlemen and to attract new fans to their own band.
Nico and Kevin said the building crew was 'lazy' and low budget, so they only got one chance at each wall
She now talks about her fangs.
and those are FOX EARS and not cat ears. 🦊
Where christmas truce?
I recorded my reaction YESTERDAY incidentally - it'll be coming later in June!! \o/
