Nice reaction. Babymetal has a choreographer they've worked with for a long time. They still get to make inputs and suggestions. These days they probably are making more and more of their own routines. Momoko is a great dancer and choreographed a dance routine while still in Sakura Gakuin. The Jpop group Babymetal grew out of. Usually Su is holding a mic and is doing most of the singing so her part of the dance is less intense as Moa's and Momoko's. But since this is the MV Su got to dance full on with the others. She really does like to dance. Left on her own I think she would turn it up to 11. All together they created a great party song. Hey Cool Aid Ratatata

Babymetal always knows how to mash genres. In September last year Babymetal was spotted attending an Electric Callboy live show this was the first big hint to people. Babymetal have a choreographer they work with, she is probably one the most famous for these kinds of dancing in Japan now, she also was involved in organizing, etc. the opening and closing ceremony for the most recent Japanese-organized Olympics to give some idea of her status in Japan. From 1 interview I heard she said she does about 2 to 3 projects per week. Definitely a busy lady.

The re-recorded version is from the current album Warriors and they have Roberto Cavalieri from Wind Rose as featuring guest singer on it. The video has the studio audio over a compliatuion of live footage.

The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more. Nightwish put out Perfume of the Timeless recently, and it’s an amazing part 2 to Greatest Show on Earth This is the best collaboration this year by far. An absolute smash hit from the word go.
I think they used a lot of forced perspective on the video to deal with the height difference. The group shots are from a lower angle pointing upwards. The guys are in the back with a bit of distance between it. That way it looks like they are of a similar height. So no growing just camera tricks. But I get you with feeling like you had your workout. It’s hard not to move with this. Wonderful blend of the two bands.
I also seen them open for Sabaton last year and they seem to turn into ladies all of a sudden and I love it. Seeing babymetal in Amsterdam in a few weeks and really hope this is on the setlist (and really hope EC is in the area). Its so much fun, you cant help but smile!

The crazy thing is, the video is great, but the video production itself is probably one of the cheapest they've done. It's just three sets with incredibly simplistic backgrounds (no background at all in the third one) and some cardboard. They've gotten very good at producing a whole lot with very little and its amazing.
They're not taller. Nico is just short. And now we know how short, because he appears here to be clearly smaller than Momo (the tallest BM singer), and Momo is consistently reported at ~160 cm.
Fun fact: the first scene in the office reflects how Call Boy argues with the managers of Babymetal about how they should have fun in the video and everything shouldn't be so serious xD 😅😂
