I don't understand how anyone could hate these young women. Sure, you don't have to like the music, but the visceral hatred I've seen directed at them over the years is completely unwarranted. And this interview shows that they haven't been shielded from it. Bless them for the happiness they bring to the world, despite the haters.
back in the day the reason that metal scene hated them because they were so young so they should be just another industry plants who didn't have real passion in music. the same problem with Hip-hop, always care about real or fake despite the music. so it's litterally judging the book by cover but now they know that Babymetal is actually legit.
@@Holaaparty I was not a fan when i first saw gimme choco go viral all those years ago. I know some people fit exactly what you described, but for me...I wasn't thinking about authenticity, fakeness, industry plants etc. I just couldn't wrap my head around the style. I had no ill will toward them personally. It only took about 4 more songs to turn it around for me after that. As far as people thinking they're legit these days...unfortunately, there is still a lot of hate directed at them. Just sift through the comments on the hell fest or pink pop, etc. live vids of them from this year....its still there.
Hearing SU-METAL'S statements genuinely made my heart happy. Everything she said is the truth. I really hope her words reach the New BABYMETAL fans. That way the newbies can review the history and develop great Respect for BABYMETAL. 🙇♂️🤘🦊

Yep. and that is why when in tough situations, SU shouts "Kakatte koiya---!" near the end of Rod of Resistance" which means,"Bring it on!" From my Blurays, she shouted this on three occaisions. (1) 2015 (Jan) at Saitama Super Arena after returning from Sonisphere putting many critics in the dust. (2) 2017 (Dec) in Hiroshima, which was the first time they performed without YUI, (3) 2023 (Jan) @ Makuhari after coming out of their "COVID Hiatus". They are really strong, but kind at heart.

Momo seems so comfortable now. Over a year, I think it’s over a year, since officially being a Babymetal member has gone a long way for Momo to find her comfort zone within the band. TBH, I can’t wait for their next album. It might be years in waiting but it’ll be worth the wait.
