No sé si es exclusivo de Mexico y mi país, o si es algo qué acomuna toda Latino America... pero metal siempre ha sido gigante también acá en Chile. Cuando volví al país (a mis 15) después de muchos años de estar afuera y basicamente haberme ido de niño, me sorprendió todo lo qué el rock y el metal eran comunes acá, en comparación al país donde había estado viviendo (qué sería Italia, en la época de los 90/2000, cuándo los más grandes clásicos del italodance fueron publicados). Cuándo trabajé en una linea de cruceros gringa, con muchos hermanos sudamericanos de todos los paises presentes entre los crew-members, me sorprendió de nuevo la afinidad musical qué había particularmente con los mexicanos: en términos de gusto hacia el rock y el metal, ciertamente se sentía qué otros sudamericanos no sentían tanto esa conexión cómo los chilenos y los mexicanos. De todas maneras: los conocí con el album 11:11 cuándo ya eran Rodrigo y Gabriela (así qué muy tarde en su carrera) pero gracias a éste documental me volvieron curioso de buscar Tierra Ácida

Whew, difficult to say what "trust the process" has come to mean to me lately, and having gotten to drive you around Telluride and enjoying the music since first taste... I built a earth block tower and dome workshop one year ago with a man from Oaxaca and each day what helped me go was "trust the process"... Still tickin. Fucking rock on. Love

I've been going to live rock shows since the early 70's (Black Sabbath was my first big concert in 72) and the Rodrigo Y Gabriela concert I saw in late 2019 was one of the best I've witnessed ever! God blessed them and us who get to hear them!!!
