- The Sha is a Han Dynasty Polearm that has a long jian sword blade attached to an even longer pole. This Sha is made by LK Chen and is based on the over 2000 year old design, and existing artifacts.
That is cool. LK Chen makes a quality sword, and in this case a polearm. Flows well

That one makes me think of a combination between a Jian Sword and a spear.

Seeing it in action is mind blowing. The sha is a sword on a staff! Sifu Kuttel, how does it feel to wield the weapon in your hands?
It's much different than you'd expect at first glance. It is really light for a weapon of it's size which makes it really agile with small circles and thrusts. Big swings require a little more power generation to be fast because you can't rely on weight to carry it. I'll be posting a video in September of it with a traditional kung fu form, and you can really see the pace and speed differences. Cutting with it was smooth, but I often let my cuts slip at the end as I relaxed ab it on the exits. Not bad all in all!!!
