What’s up everybody! I’ve been getting a lot of requests to do a hair journey video & I’ve finally gotten around to it. I dug up some pictures to give you a little insight on what my natural hair journey looked like. I hope you enjoy the video ☺️

I think the key for long hair is to find a good hair regimen and have good hair products that suits your hair.

Probably jealousy a lot of people hate on black women with long hair.
I dyed my hair black, thinking the same way you did (lol), and ended up causing more damage than when I dyed my hair blonde.

If it’s your natural color then it helps grow out the old color & dark hair is shiny so it looks healthy.

Omggg your hair is so beautiful, i always wanted to have long hair, i used to relax it since i was young and on top of that i dyed it pink and all that hair ended up breaking. I decided to transition in 2018 and got my big chop in february 2019, my hair had never been so long since i stopped straighten it, and i couldn't be happier, the hair is currently waist lengh streched out, on my shoulders due to strinkage since i have 3c curls
Girl please tell me how u transitioned😩👏🏽. I bleached my hair about a year ago and have started my transition this year, using castor oil and just shampooing and conditioning it.
Ive never been pressed to have all my ends even and match up and be a straight line across.i prefer the natural v shape it make when it grows

Well first ,is your hair texture similar to hers ? I don’t follow people with type 2 hair or 3 hair regime..they don’t have the same struggles as type 4 people 😭

@@solarlola5953 Your hair texture is literally the least important factor when it comes to developing a proper regimen. Yes, every texture has its own struggles but there are plenty of type 4 women who achieve the same results. It just boils down to you putting in the time/ effort to know your hairs needs & being consistent. 🤍

Lmao my hair didn't grow below my shoulders and my ends are so BAD like they're so dry and damaged anyway I'm gonna have a big chop

I wish I would have stared the natural journey in 2011. But but I started in 2017. Although my hair is at a good length. I can't wait til it is longer or at least at my longest relaxed length which was past mid back.

Hey girl! I can’t say that I have experienced that. I have purposely trimmed my hair back to tailbone length whenever it has grown past that bc I don’t want it to be any longer.

What did you do to get your hair more definition? I think the products are important, but how did you find out what products to use in your hair? Did you go to a hair salon or you did like some tests at home to know the porosity of your hair, etc? I'd love to know cause I had a big chop, but some parts of my hair don't have much definition ;-;

How did you transition from bone straight hair to curly without cutting it?
I’m super late lol. But I did the same, you basically transition. You allow your hair to grow in curly and cut off the straight parts as it grows. Then you have to start training your hair to curl. I did finger coils and braids outs for like a year until my hair got trained to curl up.

Hello! I can’t remember everything I used during that time but I do remember using a lot of Camille Rose Naturals products, Aphogee 2 step protein treatment & Curl enhancing smoothie from Shea moisture. Hope this helps !
Thanks, when you started to transition did you eventually do a chop..when did you cut the relaxer out from your natural hair?? That's what I am trying to figure out..I dnt wanna do a big chop and so far I am post relaxer I think 8 months

Leave in conditioner, oil , gel and a lot of damn patience deep conditioner once a week look into if you will benefit from protein treatments and know your porosity
I agree with the other commenter. Knowing your porosity and what ingredients your hair does and doesn't like is a great starting point.

Any advice on getting the length because I can’t seem to get mine past shoulder length
The same thing happened to me last year! Got fed up n just put my hair in cornrow for 6 months (was still washing it n moisturizing it) after i took it out IT GREW LIKE 4 INCHESSS!! and so it did it again for 5 months and it grew 3 inches! So im now past bra lenght after being stuck at shoulder lenght for a while.
Some up-dos that tuck away your ends might help.

Really confusing video!! Did you start off with relaxed hair when was big chop?. Or was it transitioned? You have photos of relaxed hair and hair that looks virgin without mentioning if ita a braid out or not.
