i guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a way to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Philip Taylor i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
After watching many videos (yours included) my wife and I are taking the plunge and have purchased a 2018 Tacoma and we are slowly building it for this Septembers Utah/Arizona Overland trip. We very much enjoy your style of Overlanding and to do it with your young daughter is awesome! We will be eagerly watching for all your upcoming videos and soon we will be making our own. Can't wait!!!
I'm a few videos into the start of this journey and I gotta say I'm impressed! Not only is the content golden with beautiful scenery and the adventures to get there, but also the editing, filmography and musical choices. Extremely well executed in my humble opinion. Looking forward to the rest and future videos.
We have been binge watching you guys for the past couple nights and my wife asked me “how do they work and what do they do to sustain that?” I thought I’d ask and it seemed like a great question to me. We just bought a 21 4Runner off-road. And we are going to New Mexico in less than a week to do some of this! So excited and stoked. Been saving for a year and a half for these two weeks. Appreciate all you do and thank you in advance. Rusty and Adrienne
New subscriber and I'm enjoying your adventure. As a person so used to the "creature comforts" like a hot shower, I'm gradually wrapping my mind around the lifestyle. I must say the freedom in which you choose to live your lives is inspirational. Your happiness, sense of adventure and contentment is what so many of us wish for. God bless.
Favorite overland series to follow. Can tell y’all are doing this for all the right reasons. Not just about brands and building rigs. Thank you for this rad and honest content.
Just fabulous! The adventure, the story, the smiling faces and how it is all presented. Very polished in every way from the cinematic views, the intimate shots, music selection, storyline and script - especially Caroline's singing, all beautifully mixed into the overlanding cauldron... A recipe for success!!! And I can't wait for the next course! My compliments, as always ;)
Really love seeing your journey unfold! Also, you make really high quality videos - the cinematography, soundtrack, captions... all are great. I’d like to see the captions for just a little longer. God bless and keep you all as you go. 👍
You folks are truly amazing and inspirational. It’s amazing how you ultimately work as a loving and connected team. Your daughter is so much smile and laugh factor all rolled into one. Bless you all. I will be looking at doing something similar and can’t wait. peace and happiness
My fiance and I saw a group of about 15 bighorns out behind Ballarat in Panamint Valley last summer. People without 4x4s that don't go out and explore have no idea what they're missing.
your videos inspired me to buy my 23zero gear without even getting a chance to test some out. sight unseen. have not heard a bad word about them. Thank you for taking the time to make them. just curious about your thoughts on the mattress. need a topper with it ? also, if you use sheets and a comforter, would love to know what you have found that fits best. thank you and safe travels ! hope to see you out in the back country sometime...
Just recently found you two and enjoying past and looking foreword to what comes. Just a quick question: whats the App on the samsung and mounting system for it and your ham radio?
Thanks for watching! The apps shown were Torque Pro (Android only) and Gaia GPS. The radio is Yaseu FTM-400XDR. The mounts are by Ram Mount. Search our videos for a detailed review and parts list.
Ha your daughter saved you! As you were saying, you would buy a big old? 2018 200 Series Landcruiser? Crew cab Superduty? :-). Really, you don’t have to answer. :-). Looking forward to your adventures.
We love the 200 series, so yes! Every setup has its pro's and con's but the 200 series would be a platform that would last a lifetime. Just keep it's width and weight in mind.
Lifestyle Overland Awesome! Thanks! And keep up the good work. You'll love Alaska, was stationed in Anchorage for 4 years while in the Air Force. Absolutely beautiful. When they say pictures don't do it justice, that's an understatement.
I see the Samsung tablet What ap are you running for navigation on it? Can't wait for the videos from the northern trip! Living vicariously through y'all.
We have just a few left and we may be having one last flash sale before we set out north again from Phoenix. Stay tuned to our Instagram for details...
We get about 11.2 MPG with 10,087 lbs gross weight (including water, fuel, passengers, etc.) So honestly we are pleased with the performance. The 4.88 gearing is awesome too.
Thanks for posting and quick response. That's better than I thought. My tacoma gets about 15-16 not towing anything. With 33" tires. Being a former Toyota technician I don't trust anything else
We just started collecting them from other friends, followers, and events. Most of them were either given to us or traded for our own. It's just a cool way to remember folks you meet.
We were running simplex on 146.460 MHz VHF. The reason it says SIMPLEX is just how I programmed it into the Yaseu radio to be easily recognizable when I scroll through all my saved frequencies. Most of them are for repeaters so it stands out. Simplex is basically radio to radio communication and is line-of-sight. Repeaters are used to bounce signal off of to reach a broader area and find those who are not necessarily in line-of-sight. (That's my total amatuer explaination, there are a lot of ham guys who can't go into more detail.)
How do we plan our trips? Watch this: ruclips.net/video/RVflThDx7ZA/видео.html

Great video. What is the program you are running at 5.31 on the tablet? It looks like a combo OBD/ GPS.

Freaking Awesome "Big Daddy"
Right?! 🤣
@Lifestyle Overland where do you guys keep your dog when on the road?
Fabulous! When you camp in Echo Canyon, do you just find a wide spot in the road, or is there a particular spot?
We just found a spot off the road. There are some better spots further up that offer some shelter from the wind.
What was the app on the Samsung device at 5:31 in the video?. It shows info on the vehicle stats and offroad info very interesting. Thanks
It's the Torque Pro app and it's amazing! (Video in the works)
Interesting for sure.
Ha your daughter saved you!

she can whistle!!!!!
8:17 Is that a Range Rover Classic on your brides shirt?!?!?!?
May have missed it but, is your 4Runner a TRD Off-road or Pro? Probably a dumb question haha. Just started watching and looks like an awesome time!
Probably a stupid question but where does the dog ride when you guys are traveling?
I see the Samsung tablet
What ap are you running for navigation on it?
Can't wait for the videos from the northern trip! Living vicariously through y'all.
That's the Torque Pro app. It's so awesome. (Video in the works)
Where did you guys pack the dog?
@5:31 What beautiful app is that?
I am Jake channel recommend your channel! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! Thanks for checking us out!
Curious as to why you would put the propane tank on the roof of the truck in direct sunlight...
Never had a problem with propane in direct sunlight. Keeping it inside would be much more dangerous.
I didn't know Eric Church had an overland channel :-)
🤣🤣🤣 it's his secret pastime!
What fuel mileage you getting so far pulling the trailer?
Average is about 11.5 - 12 with total weight just over 10,000 lbs
What Ham Radio are you guys using?
It's the Yaseu FTM-400XDR we also carry a Yaseu VX-6 handheld.
How and where do you get those patches?
What radio are you using?
How do you attach those patches on ur headliner?
Our 2014 4Runner headline has enough fuzz that Velcro will stick quite well.
Lifestyle Overland nice! I really like that about your rig
Thanks!
I would be scared to brake something out there..
What is the app you are running on your tablet at 5:31?
It's the Torque Pro app and it's amazing. (Video in the works)
Hi,
Whats the app your using on your Samsung tablet @ 5:31?
Thanks
That is the Torque Pro app. It's incredible but for Android only.
Thanks @Lifestyle Overland for the fast reply.
I'm not sure if this was asked before, but where does your dog sit?!
He rides on his bed behind those totes you see to the left. He is always laying down.
Thanks for answering! Hope to see you guys on the trail someday, safe travels!
I want your lifestyle overland hat

Maybe I missed it but whats up with all the patches on the roof liner?

You should check this page out if if you like patches facebook.com/groups/ToyotaPatchClub/
