Caroline is the best! I'm sure she must have her moments but you sure keep them hidden. What you both are giving her today is going to be unforgettable for her in the rest of her life. Your channel is with out a doubt the best on RUclips. Thank you.
I used to live on the backside of Fort Tuthill and would explore all those roads between it and the rim before it drops down towards Sedona along 89A. I’ve stood on the exact spot, and yes, it’s EPIC. There is so much to do and see in and around Flag.
Love your Vids ! My wife and I are having a little girl any day now. So we're just hanging out, watching your videos and they get me excited to be able to do the same things with my daughter. The experiences will last with them forever. Again, great vid!
If you liked that lava cave, check out Lava Beds National Monument if you ever find yourself in northern California. Lots of caves like that, as well as a lot of historical sites. There are even petroglyphs.
When you all get in Mt. Shasta area shout us out love to take you leave tubes some are Ice tubes we live between Lassen and Shasta and all the little volcanoes lots of epic camping... here. However we are planning our overland bucket Bc Canada Aladka trip for mom . Watching your videos is great for research Thank you
Kids always make me smile. You guys should check out the Lava Tubes in Modoic Co.N.E. Calif, there everywhere. Some have ice in them year round. The indians and first settlers would hang out in them on hot summer days.Camp at Medicine Lake it's awesome. North of Mt. Lasson is the Subway Lava Tube it,s huge.
Guys, Great video as usual. I usually don't make suggestions about how people travel but please consider if you don't already, securing items in the back of your vehicle so they do not become projectiles in an accident. Adults can sustain bigger hits but your beautiful daughter is still fragile. Just a recommendation without judgement. safe travels and keep the amazing video's coming!
I love your family! Great adventures overlanding. The best part is “Facts with Caroline” lol 😂 keep that in your videos! She is adorable 💕. Congratulations on your EPIC camping 🙌
Key word “TRSH” you can’t believe how much trash I pick up when I head out to Death Valley or Eastern Sierra Nevada. So many trails has been closed due to the irresponsibility of few people. Not cool.
We totally feel ya. We try and just make it a part of our routine without letting it get to us. Irresponsible people will always be out there, we just want to make sure there are WAY more concerned and educated people so OUR lands don't get shut down. It's a fun game for Caroline!
At 9:29 I Was showing my younger sister your sweet daughter and guess what she saw the very first thing....it was your wife earrings 😂🤣😆 Indian girls are like this only😂 you have an adorable family....I pray you be always safe on road as well as off-road....love from India #lifestyleoverland Family
I have watched all the most recent videos but am making my way through the rest - just realized y'all need to add in more FACTS WITH CAROLINE! I learned so much about that Lava Rock with holes :) I love y'all so much.
Nice video; really enjoyed it. You have a couple of really cool features going here; Epic Camps and Facts with Caroline. You should keep those themes going.......safe travels.
@@LifestyleOverland yeah man TN at SMOR is the farthest I've been so far, seeing everything through others videos is amazing and gives us the drive to venture further away!!
That cave is so cool! Going to be going to Hocking Hills here in Ohio this weekend for a few days. Hoping to explore some of the caves there! Some cool history with them in the Civil War days.
I think it's so cool that Caroline gets to opportunity to see so much of the outdoors. While i did get outdoors as a child, it was not nearly as much as i wanted. I was curious as to how the equipment is holding up to daily use for about the past 5 months y'all have been on the road?
Thanks for the support! It's actually holding up exceptionally well for the frequent usage, it's actually quite surprising to me how well it's done. About the only complaint I have is the zippers are getting fussy but that's because they haven't been cleaned well. Other than that, no rips, tears, wear-through, rust, etc. The Icon Uni-balls need replacing but they have 80k on them so no surprise there. Overall, super impressive.
Cool video man. That first camp looked like on the Mogollon (muggy-on) Rim. That's very familiar for me. There is a lot of history to that whole area whether it be Indians, ranchers or hunters. Much of Gen George Crook road runs up there, and he is a fascinating character that played a significant role during early Arizona in pacifying the Apache. Another fascinating part of AZ history is looking south from the Rim towards Pleasant Valley, which is SE'ish of Payson, surrounding the town of Young. Look into the history of the Pleasant Valley War for the bloodiest feud in US history, that you've probably never herd about. If you're visiting, you'll want to take and follow road 300 which provides access to the rim proper. Do whatever you can to support Coconino National Forest, of which thats part, because they deal with a lot of trash and fires. I plan to volunteer, which helps tremendously, but so does buying a fishing license and paying fees. Buy a year even if u fish a day, buy camping passes even if you dont use em right away, and for God sake put out your campfire and pick up your trash. And thank and support the Search and Rescue and Fire, they deal with a lot.
Coincidence? Crazy that two days ago, while plotting a route for next year's ExpoWest, I found that *exact* same camp spot (the first night) on Google Maps.
Thanks for watching! We had to close the store this month while our volunteer merch manager was out of the country. Should be back up in a couple weeks. Really appreciate the support!!
tim N michele Davis - Thanks. We tried some and it does okay (fell down initially, but staying up since), but thought we’d ask to see if there’s a specific type we should be using.
There are SO MANY! I would get a trails book for Arizona (Amazon) and start with that! Also, there are a lot of great Facebook groups in the area you can get plugged into as well.
@@LifestyleOverland GREAT! Looking forward to taking my FJ and get a taste of the desert! Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to it! Maybe i'll see you guys around!
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately I'm sworn to secrecy on the exact locations since it was a friend's research. But there are tons of places on the Mollongon Rim that are equally amazing. Just start your search there. 😉

All of us have the duty to pickup trash and leave these areas better than we find them.
Thanks for being conscientious! Good on Ya!
