Amen brother, I quit my job overlanded for 9 months, trails camping, cold weather, break downs, just started work again, seems like I never left. But at the end of it I learned a little a bit of about myself. You know........ the deep thought times. I did it solo. And I don't regret doing it. I catch myself at work wishing I was lost in nature. I come from a family of workaholics. My grandfather died repairing a cattle fence. I feel what you feel is home, I don't live there. I get overwhelmed with great memories of childhood. Till now I will punch in that clock till my next adventure. (Alaska). Peace

I've been following your channel for a few weeks now because I'm beginning to dabble in overlanding. I'm in the process of building a teardrop camper which I'll pull behind my 2019 Tacoma. My wife and I plan an extended semi-overland road trip when done with the build.
In 1998 I did some graduate training at the hospital in Sevierville Tennessee.
Seeing your opening images of Eastern Tennessee brings back wonderful memories. The landscape there is beautiful and the people are so friendly and wonderful.
I live in Oregon and can't imagine living anyplace else, but Eastern Tennessee and her beautiful people will always hold a special place in my heart.

Outstanding. I too was born and raised in East Tennessee. Carter and Johnson County. I live in Eastern Oregon now, but return on a regular basis. I lost both my parents last year, but I still have siblings there. It really hit home when you were talking about your family, how the smells and sounds hit you when you've been away for a while. The video made me homesick and kind of melancholy, but was an excellent video. Keep exploring and keep the great videos coming. Good luck in your travels.
