Yeah that was from a suggestion someone made very early on in my channel. People had no idea what I was talking about so I had to learn how to make maps 🤣
Showing the maps is a huge plus especially since if I was to consider staying in close proximity…. You have covered so much and so informative for sure 👍
Great video Adam! I stayed at Inna Sindhu in 1981 on my first of 18 trips to Bali. It was called Sindhu Beach Hotel back then & it was lovely. Not sure what it's like now, but have heard it is basic, but nice.
I am glad you talked about the area where you had your helmet stolen. We had our petrol siphoned from our scooters in that area. Have Parked in all the other streets you mentioned and never had a problem, just that one area
Wow I’ve never heard of that happening. It’s got a really bad reputation for helmet theft and the night mine was stolen there were a bunch of local guys maybe 20m away that must have seen something. But no one saw anything. For there to be so much crime in a specific spot and there not be anyone caught is telling.
Morning Mate What great way to start the day off Beach looked beautiful Great little streets, they are. They’re the ones you would miss Be over there next Thursday like to catch up for a caffeine hit🍮
So sorry mate Wanted to catch up for a caffeine hit But caught Bali disease, got very lazy haha next time . I did do what you said Went to a Wrong with no one in it I think we attracted more people that night
Great info. I couldn’t recommend staying on Pantai Sindhu, we found it very noisy with loud bar music, scooters roaring to the early hours. Some great places to eat at the beach end including the Byrd house and lhutus cafe. Best wishes to everyone travelling to Bali.
Hubby and I FINALLY arrive October 12th from the US of A.. retirement here we come! We’ve been enjoying your awesome content from your beginnings.. thanks for all your hard work! If we see you on the streets, can we buy you a Bintang.. or would you rather we just wave and move on lol 😅 either way I’m gonna yell at ya.
Yeah just yell something “oh there’s that guy that makes videos” or “oh that’s Sanur Diaries” which are a couple of things I’ve heard in recent times 🤣 Whatever the case, I’ll act awkward, warm up and then all will be ok 😎
What a brilliant idea to walk down the three beach-connecting roads from the arterial Jalan Danau Tamblingan, Adam!! You must've walked these streets just after the crack of dawn cus they get pretty busy as the sun swings over to the west! Wondering if you could recommend a Nasi Padang style place near the ICON MALL area, with your extensive knowledge and experience??
@@SanurDiaries Cheers! I’ll give it a try before I make like a tree and leave tomoro… Thanks for sharing all your knowledge - it’s been great to explore Sanur.
We very recently stayed at Duyung Homestay. We endorse your good comments on Warung Kecil. 9.5 out of 10 for breakfasts. We very much enjoyed having coffee and a chat with you at Lila Pantai.
Thanks again for all your hard work. Love watching your videos. We are in Sanur from 30 October for 8 days. We are so excited to explore being our first visit. Funny question. What’s your name? Can’t say I’ve ever heard it! Jamie here.
Not sure because the parking guy told me the other day to take my helmet with me because it’s a good one and that was in the middle of the day. Pretty sure there’s a group of thieves around there operating with impunity.
Love how you do the maps as well.. really helps to get an overall picture 👍

Glad you found the maps helpful. It’s all about showing people what’s actually there, so it’s easy to get a feel for the place.
Thanks so much. What a great vlog
Thanks for watching!
What an excellent messenger you are!
Thank you!
Excellent information thanks 👍
No worries!
Great video Adam, loved your recap of these great streets. Thank you 😊
My pleasure. I think Sanur is so big that we often stick to our usual places. It’s nice to check out a few different streets every now and then.
@@SanurDiaries yes so much to explore, love it
Thanks Adam’s great video.
Your commentary is very informative. 🙏🇦🇺
Thanks 👍

To be honest, it does look like a 1980s hotel. I’m not sure what the rooms are like inside, but the location is great.

Great video. I looked on Google Maps to see which one is nearest to where I'll be staying on my next trip. Can't wait to get back to Bali
Nice one. Hope it gives you a better idea of what you’re heading into

Hi Adam, it was nice meeting you, back home now and planning next trip to Sanur. Loving the volgs. Cheer Belynda.
Nice to meet you too. Catch you next time!

Hey Raz thanks for the coffee! I think the best nasi padang up that end is warung muaro.

Enjoyed the catch up too, Alan. Appreciate your input regarding Duyung Homestay. Definitely one I need to check out for myself

Adam’s the name. I don’t bang on about me too much because I like to keep the focus on what we all love - Bali and Sanur.
Thanks a great informative stroll. Love your work. Do you use a DJI Pocket 3?
I don’t have one unfortunately but I would love one!
Arrive tonight for 3 weeks staying at kamboja for a while
Nice. Such a fantastic little spot. Love it.
Sad you got your helmet stolen. I hope it's only at night that that happens.
