Ren weaves his magic once again. Its so impactful and instinctive , no words needed. Music is a universal language & his music is a powerhouse. The backstory so sad , he feels every note.
I always thought of Ren as an amazing singer/songwriter, rapper, artist, musician, performer and phenomenal human being. But this is the first time I have actually thought of him as a composer, a legitimate composer. I can see him doing soundtracks and those soundtracks would sell because Ren knows how to pull you into his soul and make you feel every emotion he has. He's a genius!!!!
I’m amazed you weren’t stunned by tye composition of MG3, it’s utter genius both for the piano and the strings section. The writing was on the wall then for his ability to score a film.
@@supertuscans9512 the starting piano composition on MG3 is a classic composition. But personally I've been very impressed by his compositions. Just pointing out that that particular part isn't actually his, not all of it anyway.
Are you taking the piss? I don’t think anyone on the planet thinks that Précised part of Griegs Piano Concerto was written by Ren. I obviously was referring to every part of MG3 apart from Grieg’s part. As I say I don’t know if you’re taking the piss but if you’re not, it’s fucking hilarious!😂
In the chat before the premiere, Ren asked us to comment the names of the loved ones we’ve lost. It was beautiful to see all the names and stories of the souls spoken out into the universe. The love and sharing is amazing. Truly breathtaking. ❤

Your emotive reaction is testament to the talent Ren possess and the wonderful empath you are Joe E. Much love and big hugs to you and anyone else reading this.
Sam and Ren filmed this in The Badlands, about an hour from here in Drumheller, Alberta I think the area in Colorado are called Badlands as well. This area is known as the dinosaur capital of the world. The site is so haunting (but amazing to hike around), just a gorgeous location for this wonderful tribute by Ren

The quality of the light on a sunny day in the badlands is always beautiful. It is always warm, even if the temperature isn’t. It is a special place, and a great backdrop for this song.
As he recently still was in Calgary for his treatment I think this is Calgary - Canada. Btw this is the 3th time today I hear this piece. Ren is a beautifull old soul in a young body who has experienced way to much in life and the only way he can express that is true his music. And it hits HARD’!
@@kellyt5341 yeah I saw an other reaction from someone that it must have bin the backlands of Alberta. I don’t know never bin there. But I did new it must have bin Canada as he is still there.
The Badlands, in drumheller, alberta, about an hour from calgary. Such a beautiful area to explore, and a gorgeous and almost haunting place that fits so well with this stunning tribute by Ren.
The music sweeps us away, and the landscape grounds us again. Permanence and impermanence. ❤💔 I think Sam shot it, and there are echoes of the visuals from For Joe that makes them feel like cinematographic siblings.
It says in the description that this was filmed by Sam. I think they shot it about a year ago when Sam was out in Calgary visiting Ren. As others have said it’s filmed at Badlands in Alberta.
I love your statement. These cords are words for Ren that we'll never know. I found myself thinking of my late husband during the entire song... words you'll never know. as always love your passion and reactions. Always a great time
Music is language to our souls so it is easy to see why it makes one emotional just listening to the notes, the rythym, the urgency, the crying out we hear. Our bodies run on electrical connecions and vibrations, that is why music affects us so. I was singing words along with the music in my mond too. The videographer did a great job and I love to hear your breakdown on filming, the location was majestic. The grandeur, Love it.
This is in remembrance for all the people we have loved and lost. Time to reflect on our own lives, and the people within it. Great reaction. Oh and happy birthday to Ren. You light up the world my friend.
Sam filmed this. Ren posted them scouting this location near Calgary a few weeks ago on Instagram. Also in the chat before the premiere Ren asked people for their favorite songs by Sublimb and he's got the sublime sweatshirt on. Maybe a re take coming while he finishes the new album? Great reaction as always!
Your reaction was so touching. When was the last time we saw and heard anything like this on RUclips? No lyrics necessary. It's a gift to all of us. Ren's vision direction, and the magic that's created with whomever he collaborates with is, I don't even know the right word. Fill in the blank.

And I have heard and seen more then most. Without being in the music industry. I like your reaction very much. And shout out to Ren Happy birthday it's tomorrow 34yo. Love Ren.
Thank you for reacting to Mackay. I’ve found a few reaction channels that have commented, but not many. Ren is a gifted composer. I love that he can release super diverse music and he creates whatever he wants to create and doesn’t worry about how people might feel. He won’t ever be stuffed into a genre pigeonhole. 💪🏼 💛After this video dropped, I watched it again and again. The videography is stunning. Like you said, “the golden hour”… my guess is this is a one take masterpiece. The sun sets incredibly fast in the mountains and the light changes minute to minute. (I live in a mountainous area similar to where this was shot) He’s pouring out his soul through those ivory’s. It’s almost like Ren is sharing fond memories intertwined with that deep loss and sadness of missing a good friend. I love the ending as you commented, the notes are played so beautiful and slowly as he gently releases Callum to the Next Place. Until we meet again, brother. You said it perfectly, when you caught that it felt like a conversation with Callum. That’s what I feel when I hear it. This piece needs no words. Close your eyes and sink into it and just ride the emotional wave. It’s on my playlist for my wake. Ren is sharing his inner vulnerability without any filter or second thoughts. His music is a gift from the heart. That level of authenticity and generosity is why we love this talented lad. ☮️🫶
