I have a question . Numerous individuals in my apartment building were caught on camera breaking into a couple different apartment buildings inside the building . I was never notified by the landlord of this happening and then my apartment got broken into . During the coronavirus pandemic they say they can’t evict anyone but is the landlord responsible for notifying me of such still even during a pandemic ? Does that violate any safety standards . Do I have any case or any such against them

As a landlord I can say this is pretty well done. Many tenant issues stem from a lack of them understanding their responsibilities. If you pay your rent on time, don't cause damage, or other trouble, then I would never want to evict you, because that only makes more trouble for me too. Always communicate well with your landlord and be respectful even if they are not.
Exact rules and laws of course vary by state, some are more strict than this, some less strict.

Talk with the city and tenant council if you have a slumlord.

Fact: you can win in every courtroom that you walk into and here are some important information.
      1. You cannot use a Attorney, if you do you will become a ward of the Court.
      2. You cannot represent yourself, or you shall become liable to the court for taking on the duties of an officer of the Court.
      3. You have to protect yourself. I want to be very clear, I did not say defend yourself, I said that you must "protect yourself." And you must learn from the most powerful Manual on the planet. This Manual shall teach you the correct way to walk into any courtroom and protect yourself against the de facto government.

If the landlord is following the law they will tell you to kick rocks. Tenants typically think they have more rights than they actually do.

Or maybe just pay your rent ON TIME. It's a free country if you don't like it like the great comedian Sam Kinison said.."Move" but pay the person what is their due. You wouldn't go into a restaurant eat a hearty meal, drink their fine wine and not expect to pay? Why some people get it in their head that it is ok to stiff the landlord their due constantly blows my mind.

And what if Rent is ready & I notify the landlord it's ready( he always comes to pick it up in person) but he doesn't come to pick it up until the following week?

Your landlord doesn't have a responsibility to come to you for rent. It is your responsibility to pay, or deliver, unless an agreement is otherwise made beforehand.

Just pay the rent and you won't be asked to kick rocks.however in current times, deadbeats are protected by renters landlord laws..and are used as a tool to bankrupt property owner so you do t need to worya tually. Just stop paying rent a d find out

I once had a tenant who complained of mold and made a big issue out of nothing it was black crude in the tub where the grout is I handed her a container of Ajax/Comet and a brush and never her from her until she moved about 5 years later case closed imagine that No Hablo Ingles

    • @turkrimmer1856

Most mold can be removed in 5 minutes using a small bottle obtained at Dollar General for $1.50 Why some cities or tenants make it a big issue is a waste of precious life energy. After taking a hot shower or bath AIR out the bath so the steam doesn't build up on tiles and walls. LIFE 101 basic stuff - don't need an advanced degree for this one.

A landlord most times unless you pay big money for rent will not take the time to either read you the lease or let you read it!I never got to even see my lease until the day I moved in & got the keys

The “owner” here seems kind of slumlord-like. Won’t clean up mold, doesn’t proactively discuss problems with tenants as they arise…
