Imagine if for next year’s April Fools update, instead of something cool like the hundreds of portals or this year’s, they just added everything in these speedruns. The jacked loot chests, increased structure spawn chance, random structures made out of Diamond blocks, etc. Would definitely be the update of all time.

The way that speedrunner played suggested that he was actually very capable of a typical game, just very bored with the normalcy. The "should it be more realistic?" to "stfu or you're not getting paid" comment was likely because he and his friend decided to make it funny. I don't know of anyone who would actually expect actual money of any kind over a game, let alone a Speedrun.
The Water Clutch reaction speed, and the water clean up time suggested he knew how to fight responsively.

The fact that the 1st guy was able to escape the backrooms is honeslty insane.
...and I spent 9 days designing a 250x250m Backrooms area. It's pretty good, but rather pointless.

To be honest, I kinda like the idea of the obviously (or at least minimally subtle) fake Minecraft Speedrun genre. I feel like there's a lot of room for creativity there and they're easy to debunk, so where's the harm? Even the bad ones have some golden nuggets within. I especially loved getting shunted off into the backrooms and the gold deposit building.
I love the fact he can pick out every single itty bitty detail that might hint to them cheating, but doesn’t know an iron golem drop rate…

I actually played Minecraft with my little sister the other day and found 11 obsidian from a chest in a village, so like you said, it is definitely possible if you’re lucky and I almost didn’t find it because my sister claimed she checked ALL the chests in the village. Lesson: If you’re playing with your siblings double check the loot chests

The "Speedrunner" who ended up in this weird Among Us spaceship copy, saw the "Impostor", got protected by "Guardian angels", called an "Emergency Meeting" and "ejected" the "Impostor" was clearly not even trying to fake a speedrun.

The levels of irony in this video is actually confusing me. I'm actually scared to ask the obvious question because I don't know how ironic people are being. Man sounds so convincing like he actually believes these videos are genuine attempts at fake speedruns, and so do people in the comments here.
