I have tried literally 5 other tutorials and although they make beautiful holders and the comments seem to respond well to them, for me, this is by FAR the best and simplest tutorial! Thank you! I am preparing to sell these at a small market to raise money for our women’s ministry program! My first attempt took 30 minutes and my second took 10! Thank you again!
had scraps of this exact yarn and colorway lol thank you for this ... n yesss to using a bobby pin because whos fighting with a stitch marker for 12 stitches? lol
May I ask why you aren’t a fan of the magic circle? I’m a beginner and I’m just trying to learn the most versatile (and easiest) ways to crochet. Thank you!
I once made a large blanket of motifs where I used (what I thought was) the magic circle. I washed it prior to gifting and every one of the motifs came apart in the middle 😩
That must have been really sad! Well this is a great video. I appreciate how easy it is to follow and the result looks really good. Do you think that how you start this project could substitute for a magic circle in other projects? I would hate for my creations to be destroyed in the wash. Thank you for the video and your reply ⭐️
@@HeidiTheiss-h3p thank you! Yes, a chained ring can be substituted for a magic circle just about anywhere. But please don't let my poor experience keep you from trying it🙏🏻 It is definitely because I did it wrong. Many people use it with no trouble. I just decided I wasn't willing to risk it again.
Thanks for sharing this pattern, the loop idea and little details make it super cute! 🤍 I would love to make these for my new shop. How do you prefer to be credited for the pattern?
Crediting me isn't really necessary. If you share on social media, I would love for you to tag me @dayscrochetnc , but otherwise, I don't need you to put my name on your physical products☺️
@@DaysCrochet the 8mm is way to small and I crocheted thee loop with a 2.75. I even tried drilling the hole bigger. 8mm large hole bead, is that what I’m looking for?
@@Mary-dp5he I use a super small hook (maybe a B or C) to bring the chain loop through the bead. They are fairly big holes. Not those beads on the strand. Wooden bead assortments are usually a good size

Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ I hope you sell lots🙏🏻
You definitely are a good teacher. I'm a beginner, and I just made one. I'm so happy I found you. Thanks so much!
Thank you for your kind feedback! I’m glad you liked making it🥰
I love that she used a Bobby pin for her stitch marker! I’ve never thought of that.
It’s honestly so much easier than opening and closing those flimsy silicone ones. Most of my tricks come from my own laziness🤣
@@DaysCrochetI use a piece of yarn and works well
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. You are a great credit to the fiber arts community.
What an incredibly kind thing to say. Thank you so much ❤️
I need this. I use chapstick all the time. So glad I found your video. Thank u!
I have tried so many videos this one was so helpful! Thank you!
What if I don't have that tiny hook to attach the bead? How else could I do it? Excited to make this!!
Really fantastic tutorial, thank you so much, it was so easy and fun to make! :)
Love this! It worked up super easily. Mine was a tad larger, but no sweat because it fits the Eos sticks I use 😊

Right?! Bobby pins are the best stitch markers!
Tyty exactly what I wanted for coworker Christmas gifts!
Your instructions are sooo easy to follow and I like how you make it looks easy and doable!

@@DaysCrochet thanks for clarifying! I've browsed a few of your patterns and they are SO good, I will definitely be purchasing some!
@@cozycatherine thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
If I make another increase, would it still be 2 sc in each?
No. On the next round, you would only increase in every other stitch or it will start to ruffle
Well I haven’t crocheted in 40 years …crossing my fingers .
You totally can do this! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Can you tell me where you found your beads?
I usually buy an assortment on Amazon or in Walmart in their bead aisle. I would link the one on Amazon, but it’s sold out
