.5 oz of worsted weight cotton yarn
“C” 2.75mm Crochet Hook
Scissors

Yarn over, insert hook into the next st.
Yarn over, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook).
Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook).
Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch and pull up a loop (4 loops on hook).
Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook).
Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch and pull up a loop (5 loops on hook).
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops (4 loops on hook).
Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on the hook.

written pattern:
row 1:
-7 sc into magic circle,ss into first st
row 2:
-incr in every st (2 sc in each st,total 14),ss into first stitch
row 3:
-ch 1, sc in BLO in each st,go through both loops when ss into first st
row 4:
-ch 1,sc in each st, ss at the end (14)
row 5:
-ch 1,turn over work, (sc in first st,bobble st in next st) repeat steps,ss into first sc
how to make bobble st: 6:41
row 6:
-ch 1, turn over work, sc in each st, ss to first stitch of the round
row 7:
-ch 1,dont turn over work, sc in every st
row 8-13:
*cut off yarn tail*
-repeat rows 5-7 two times
*rmbr to ch1 and turn over on bobble row and first sc row*
row 14:
-ch 1, ss in each st,ss in same st as ch 1, ss into first st (14 stitches)
row 15:
-ch 1,sc in every st for the next 4 stitches, (ch 1, turn over, sc in the same 4 stitches)-repeat 3 times
row 16:
-grab lobster claw/keychain,out behind work, sc into the 4 stitches
-ch 1, turn work, sc into each st (repeat 3 times)
to end it: ch 1, leave a bit of tail to make a loop, fold strap back,sew in a few stitches to hold it in place,make a simple knot to secure end,weave in tail

Can you do this pattern with 3.5 mm hook??
You can try as long as your chapstick fits! If you have a larger lip balm or lip stick…test it out. Otherwise it might be too loose.
