    I recommend if you're a beginner putting a stitch marker at your last stitch of the round, or the slip stitch of the round. Because its easy to lose how many stitches you've done if you aren't counting.

    I look forward to trying this. I was looking for some quick projects to have as cheaper items for my small side business. This is perfect for me since I seriously have a lip balm addiction. Thank you for this tutorial!

    Hi! This is great!! Can you make a video explaining how to sew stuff together? I am not sure how to end it after I sew.

    So….you do a row of 9 stitches, slip stitch, chain one and begin the next row of 9 for every row?

    • @pontneufstudio
      @pontneufstudio  3 года назад +4

      yes! that’s it. it’s really simple i don’t turn or anything after the rows, just slip stitch to join and keep working the rounds of 9.

    Hello 👋. Love your work. What difference is this crochet chapstick video compare to the other crochet chapstick tutorial.

      Hi CInnamon! Thanks so much. This one is worked in the round and the other one is made from a rectangle shape.

    Ive started making one and used the same brand of yarn and a 3.75mm hook. Its kind if tight. Could that be my tension or should I just go up in hook size?

    • @pontneufstudio
      @pontneufstudio  3 года назад +1

      hi jazmonet! I would size up on your hook.

    Can I use any yarn for this? Does it have to be worsted weight yarn?

    • @pontneufstudio
      @pontneufstudio  11 месяцев назад

      hi! you can use any yarn but if it's thinner than worsted weight you'll have to increase the amount of stitches around so it's big enough for the chapstick

    Did you do slip stich every round?

    • @pontneufstudio
      @pontneufstudio  2 года назад +1

      yes, i slip stitch each round. it could be worked in the round i just prefer to slip stitch in each one to keep track of where i am

    do you have tips on how to know which one is the first stich? i keep losing track on how many single crochet ive made, do you keep on counting 9 till the end? mine kinda doesnt look like a cilinder after a few round. i keep starting over. i dont get what i do i wrong 😔

    • @pontneufstudio
      @pontneufstudio  Год назад

      hi sofia! you'll want to insert your hook int he stitch right underneath the chain one stitch. then finish in the stitch right before the one where the chain one is coming out of
