TRIED Teaching My Daughter To Use Paddle Shifters in the Q50

- As if it isn't frightening enough to let her drive my Q50, I thought I'd teach her to use paddle shifters. She did ok for her first time out, but I think this is valuable practice before getting her into the driver's seat of the jeep.

Great
Can you make a video on how to rev match
The Q50 rev matches automatically.
That nervous turn 😭
lol
She did good
Not bad for the first time! She was excited to tell me last night that she's been practicing in her MDX on the way to school in the morning.
Definitely she's letting off during those shifts at higher revs, it's super easy to tell because of how slowly the car switches gears. It definitely takes practice. Certainly not bad for a first run though! I'm a little under two weeks in and still make these mistakes myself, even driving every day in manual mode.
Exactly. She just couldn't get into the groove of keeping on the throttle.
Jeep looking fresh...
Great content keep it up
Thanks a lot!
I here for it all 😁
You probably taught some of these other guys & gals to shift, & i have accidentally forgot to shift, but never put it in neutral 🙃
I've had a bunch of people tell me that they thought they were in manual mode then punched it and tried to shift up using the knob and put it in neutral. oops lol
@@SpeedCultureStudios that has happened to me lol😔
Once she has it down she’s gonna love down shifting when she’s coming to a stop 😁
For sure! She says she’s been practicing in her mdx so I’ll have to test her soon!
I only drive my g37 in sports mode 💪🏿💪🏿
same
what year model ?
So when we cruising
Hey man. Been watching you a few years. Let the girl play with the car. Its not like she's a bad driver, but your reactions when she's driving..I could imagine it being so unnerving for her.
A Nissan 7spd auto trans is not a trans to “play with” lol
I have the same car, stock tho. A lot of understanding was just time driving and using the paddles. At this point, I don't need to watch the tachometer, I just listen to the car and how its moving to know when to shift.
I'm not knocking you BTW, I always have to go to a mental safe space when I let my sister drive my car.
I accidentally drove my g35 in manual mode when I thought it transferred it to automatic. That’s why you don’t listen to music while in manual.
Oops 😬
@@SpeedCultureStudios Yeah, I didn't realize until I saw my rpm's sky high.
Will paddles work in my 2012 G37S?
My paddles came out of a g37
What q50 model you got ?
Base
@@SpeedCultureStudios what do u think about a g37s coupe 2008 6mt?
@@alexgabriel3118 I’d love to have one!
I had to hold my breath and listen when watching the car go up the driveway lol. Do you feel like you’re less likely scrape on the driveway doing reverse or front-in?
Potential to scrape in both directions but if angled correctly it works out fine
Is the Amazon emblem good to get
I’d go through jaliscos_carbonfiber on IG
I have a 2014 Infiniti Q50 with a Meghan exhaust on it let’s collaborate
Where are you from?
RUclips world is weird 😅 🌎
Totally weird!
