Useful video. We have the exact same fire and need to replace the coals, but have no manual. Do you know the make/model in the video? You mentioned a pdf and I'd like to try and find it. Thanks
Just curious on these type of fires if the chimney is not lined do you need to get it swept every year or is it only if there is no pull on the smoke test
There needs to be a pull from the flu needs thorough investigation please contact your local Gas Safe Engineer immediately Gas appliances need to be checked and serviced every 12 months
You will need the LPG conversion kit which has the injectors and anything else that was acquired Air intake also needs to be checked this is coming out in the UK by a gas safe engineer on LPG The LPG tank will be located outside somewhere in the garden then pipeed as usual to the fire using special LPG fittings Please don’t attempt this yourself
OK I understand. Then I have to look for some fitter. I don't know why, but in my house there is a cut off the gas supply pipe to this stove and to the gas heater. The pipe is tricky plugged. Hence my question whether it is possible to connect LPG to this stove. Thanks anyway
Apologies for the Hoover noise in the middle for 10 seconds new to all this lol 😂
Thanks for this video mate, I don't usually work on gas fires, mainly boilers but this will definitely come in handy 👍🏽
cracking video and i always like to brush up on fires, as you don't usually work on them as most houses don't have them anymore.
In my area there is plenty if there is a gas shortage just saying your imaginary become popular and again cheaper to run than a huge boiler 😜
Great Video, very useful for trainees :-)
What was the standing pressure at the meter? Thanks for sharing >.
