This just reignites my plan for a Nurgle Iron Warriors army. I want to lean into pollution and environmental damage rather then the usual plague boys. Black oily blood, rusted armour leaking with oil, with noxious clouds of industrial pollution.

@@cnut7383Vasthorr is part of the CSM army so you can run him alongside iron warriors. If you’re wanting to use death guard rules to get a more Nurgle feel to the rules unfortunately Vashtor would not be able to be brought along.

@@steppeone The Leagues lore could be flexed into having a single Votann basically take the form of a technological chaos god. No connection to the warp but givings boons of ancient technology to those that serve its vision of industrialized corruption.

Loosely basing him on that art from the 9E Death Guard codex was really clever, it’s both a canon look but one that you never really see on genuine Death Guard. Well done!
Instead of destroying skitarii backpacks all the time, you can use guitar rods. They have the same details, apart the dangling bits. And being steel, can be bent to various degrees.

As soon as I saw that artwork I knew that chosen mace would be perfect for it. The miniature looks great and the painting on the hazard stripes is top class

5:21 the shape of the reservoirs on the backpack remind me of Galarian Weezing, which actually fits the theme pretty well!

Iron warriors and Nurgle are two of my favourite aesthetics so I absolutely love this

my favourite bit was when pete said "It's War Gamin' time!" and bashed his kit everywhere
Nurgle did make a play to get Perturabo and that attempt featured Sons of Horus Plague Marines.

@@henrypaleveda7760 No, Pert obliterated them. Though the trip took him, Argonis and Volk to Sarum where they met the weapon daemon which turned Volk into a proto-Obliterator.
Nurgle’s voice, a Sons of Horus chieftain named Khalek correctly pointed out that Perturabo was still dying from the events of Angel Exterminatus and that was intoxicating to Nurgle.
Undivided Legions have a lot of wiggle room but Iron Warriors falling in with Khorne or Nurgle make a lot of sense.

finally attempted to do my first big kitbash, always watched your videos and encouraged me to give it a go. just a techmarine and iron father feirros to make to two unique techmarines, chopping things and pinning things lots of glue. was a fun challenge

2 days ago I finally commit to Iron Warriors after years of trying to pick between them and Nurgle, I paint up my terminators using Pete's scheme from his Grumpiest Space Marines video, and this happens. The machinations of the dark gods are cruel indeed

Final result speaks for itself(hazard stripes look good even without black).
Speaking of iron warriors, working on a loyaliat successor chapter of theirs, only missing a proper name, they got everything else - gunmetal blue with steel trim, hazard stripes as secondary decoration, primary is a castle/brickwall pattern modeled after barad dur tower, officers(captains(including chapter master) and specialist officers all wear helmets modeled after sauron and his ringwraiths, to complement the barad dur inspiration), heavy weapon guys have a blast shield visor(think the russian visor helmet used in pubg), any suggestions for name?
I'm not sure if the current decal sheets have any generically Nergal (as opposed to specifically Deathguard) images, but if they do having those over the yellow and black hazard stripes might have worked also.
i had nurgle iron warriors for months now hahaha a full 3k points to i just used chaos space marines in iron warriors paint and my nurgle rotting sludge mixture and made them have death guard compliant gear
Do the plastic components stick well enough to the metal ball bearings? Seeing those small pipes attached to the smooth round surface makes me think they'd easily break off

Been wanting to ask this for awhile, but what process do you use to clean your paintbrushes? I sometimes think that they're colored pencils with how much the tip of the brush remains together. I've tried to take care of what I already have (e.g., using brush cleaner and washing them out after using metallics), but they don't keep the great point like yours have.
Excuse me, could you please advise on the proper way to detach a model from its base after it has been super glued in place for painting purposes? I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I'd like to kitbash some Nurgle-corrupted Blood Angels from the Dornian Heresy!
Any suggestions on how to go about it?
I was fully ready to give full props for the conversion because I've always preferred the more industrial nurglites to the tentacly flesh mutation ones... but then a helmetless head came into the picture
Bare heads always ruin it for me, it just doesn't make sense to me that space marines would go into battle without a helmet.
This came out three minutes ago And it already have 107 views how is that possible?
What I think would be awesome (and something I wish I could do for myself of I had the skills or money to do it) would be a thousand sons lord of change chaos knight daemon engine hybrid where it looks like the Daemon bird head replaces the knights head and the wings burst out the back. That'd be an awesome center piece (colorscheme: blue main color, purple secondary, bronze trim Kantor blue, naggaroth night, retributor armor all followed by druchii violet, then teclis blue and xereus purple staying slightly away from the edges of armor panels, then transfers followed by agrax earthshade to make the armor look old. Underskeleton primer of leadbelcher, followed up with nuln oil and agrax earth shade applied liberally to make it gross, then dry brush of necron compound. Energy glow on stuff like the volkite combustor is black base coat followed by white zenithal then tesseract glow) that's just something I think would be awesome
are we gonna get the 2nd missing primarch mister pete?
