The Thruxton models will be missed as it is a perfect fit for those riders with several motorcycles in their shops. It isn't the most comfortable bike in Triumph's lineup but certainly has been the most stylish and fun one. Park one next to most anything but the most costly exotic bikes and it garners the most stares.
Bought a new Thruxton RS 5 months ago in the green/silver. As soon as I test rode one I knew it was for me and have enjoyed every minute. Sorry to see Triumph are stopping production but apparently most people opt for the Street Twin or Scrambler models now. I did think about maybe changing to the FE next year but as the specs are no different to mine apart from the paint job, I can`t really justify the cost. I shall just carry on enjoying my 23 model. I have never owned a bike that attracts so much attention when parked up and sounds so good on the move. A stunning bike that will be missed.
I love my Thruxton, but this is a strange video. The way the narrator tells the history, he makes it seem like the Thruxton has been in continuous production and development since 1964, which is simply not at all the case.

I had a 2009 Thruxton for ten years and now a 2016 Thruxton R for eight plus years. Lovely bikes and they will become rarer over the years.

This bike has been just out of my reach for years….really bummed that it’s not going to be around in the future. The FE looks so awesome too! Ugh.

I think it is over priced! that said, it is a lovely looking bike.
I prefer a more practical ‘Speed’.. Not the ‘Twin’ that costs upwards of $15K here in India, but the ‘400’ that costs $3.5K !
