  • Hey y'all I decided to try the stage 2 high torque file from Integrated Engineering and to my surprise the clutch handle it pretty good FOR NOW! Also added the crackle with it and I LOVE IT! I promise you CAN switch back and forth between stage 1 and 2 if you bought stage 2. All octanes, fuel maps, etc. Car sounds awesome btw, i just got the IE downpipe last week, waiting for intercooler to be back in stock before it goes in. Also, the bridge moment was 🔥 🔥 now find a decent tunnel and do rolling let offs 😎 keep up the good work

    8:11 that’s your diverter valve opening and closing do to its under load in lower rpm it’s normal for it to make that sound

    Hey man. Love the build. I have a 2019 gli 6 speed and I put a unitronics stages 1+ at like 22k miles and now I have 50k. I was wondering if you hear a flutter noise when you push the clutch in. It happens when I’m taking It easy and just driving around city between 2500-3500 rpm. Sounds like turbo flutter. If anyone has any ideas let me know. People say it’s normal but It just sounds weird to me.

    • @mr.boosted9983
      @mr.boosted9983  Год назад +1

      Thanks man! Appreciate that! I can’t say I’ve ever noticed that. It could be the “blow off” like when you let out of the gas. But it also could be something else I’m not entirely sure. If people are saying it’s normal I wouldn’t worry too much unless it gets worse or louder

    If I go stage 1, and do little to no pulls would the clutch be ok? I assume it would only put more stress on the clutch than normal only doing pulls, launching, and lugging. Correct me if I’m wrong

    • @mr.boosted9983
      @mr.boosted9983  Год назад

      Driving normal it would be fine but I’ve put mine into stage 1 low torque and it will still slip under heavy load

      @@mr.boosted9983 gotcha. But let’s say I’m stage 1 and I never do any aggressive driving or pulls. The clutch would theoretically last as long as it would stock right?

      Been stock since 58k miles. Went stage 1 EQT tune and now I’m at 61k miles about a month and a half in and im no experiencing clutch slippage. As well as my clutch pedal has become soft and the bite point is almost all the way out on the clutch pedal now. Im literally looking at clutch kits right now. My driving habits are moderately aggressive but nothing crazy. I would just keep in your head that you will be needing a new clutch several months after driving on it. I own a 2019 GLI Autobahn
