      What’s good bro I got a 2019 1.4 jetta
      I’ve upgraded my intercooler an I just used a J line mishimoto universal intercooler it did take a bit of work but my gawd was it worth worth it!
      I just threw a blow off valve in with the intercooler bc I didn’t at first an my charge pipes kept blowing off bc of the back pressure going through the charge pipes so just be careful with that a add a bov first lol
      It’s is super worth it though just do your research oh an also adding the intercooler didn’t add any lag whatsoever! If anything it helped with my lag issues

    • @MK6CHRIS
      @MK6CHRIS  2 года назад

      @@JorJorBnkz420 Hey thanks for the feedback but everything you said is contradicted based upon what you did. First off, you added an intercooler, since your car has a heat exchanger.
      Second, how was it worth it? It was a lot of work for what, Slightly lower intake temps? I can't imagine how it could be worth it. u gained maybe 5hp. Could you explain why it is worth it?
      In regard to lag, that was definitely a placebo. You can't make it less laggy unless the pipes are thinner or shorter. It either stayed the same OR go worse. Now it may seem like it got less laggy because your temps are lower but in the mid range, it will dip on a dyno. That's just based on experience.

    • @JorJorBnkz420

      If you're getting protuned, yes. If it's just a flash tune, no. Just run the tank out and swap to the better gas on refill. Your ecu will adjust to the octane of the gas, so, you will notice a lack of power but doing so saves intervals. Once you start running good gas through the system, it will adjust accordingly. You should've been running 91 gas anyways for gas mileage and longevity of your car.
