I had installed the lower dogbone mount from 034 motorsport for 2 years and now have the upper insert. I'm honestly amazed how much better the car drives with the complete kit. Idk if it's necessary on an automatic, but it's a must have for manuals.

hello! I'm not sure if it'll fit since in the US we don't have twin charged jettas. So I think your exhaust set up might be different. U can always have a exhaust shop make u a custom downpipe. My car is NOT twin charged and my stock car makes 150hp

Depends on whether you go apr. Apr you can do an 87 tune. I'm going stage 1 possibly next year and it will be 87. Once I go stage 2 obviously I'll have to go to 93 but I'm only tuning it for the throttle response and more pep

@@antoinefbm the laminx is for the fog lights. The black wrap / vinyl was just cut by hand. I just bought 10 feet of wrap to play with . It was cheap. The sun visor was installed by a shop for $50 at a local tint place

The charge pipe u are referring to right? Charge pipes on these cars create a lot more lag down low and like 2 more hp up top. Not worth it in my opinion . Lag between gears and from a start is not worth it
CTS catless is cheaper. If you ever change your mind though, just look into purchasing a high flow cat for the midpipe. It cuts back on the scent or sound if you wanna change that without negatively impacting performance really.

the fans? Like the ones in front of the engine used for cooling? That is auto regulated so that means your car is running hot and/or you use the a/c a lot . Basically you can't do anything about it . If you're low on coolant or your cooling system is dirty than you can fix that

Hey know I’m late but just recently got a 1.4S auto and just wondering why u said to not do a larger charge pipe and with the being said would u recommend the ecs tuning silicone turbo outlet hose?
Larger charge pipes would result in more lag from the turbo . Would only be beneficial if you live in a colder area and have an upgraded intake and downpipe. Obviously tuned too.
@@valiantone395 is right. However there is always a small chance of running lean or something when u do pulls with a stock ecu file with a downpipe. The car does want to protect itself tho, normally fine

you looked into tubing at all? i have a 2016 1.4t and i’m on stage 2 unitronic right now it it definitely makes a hugeeeee difference

I literally cut it myself, it’s just wrap /vinyl. It doesn’t hide the blinker, the only purpose is to hide the amber reflector

Will running a dp without a tune for like a month or two ruin the engine
No, the ecu adjusts parameters automatically. I have an turbo back exhaust on my Evo without a tune for 13 years no problems.

Why would you advise against a bigger chargepipe?
because we aren't flowing enough air to justify the bigger charge pipes. Bigger charge pipes means more lag if u dont have the extra air velocity
