Don’t waste your time, trade that shit in. Been there done that. Did it all with mine, no stage 2, you’ll spend up 7 or 8k and eventually have to go stage 3, possibly a 5 speed swap. Otherwise you can go stage 1 plus and still spend money on mods to get the most out of it. You will still need a TCU tune, most companies don’t carry it for that year/trim, I had to go to a private tuner, still having oil leaks, manifold codes to get rid off, and I spin tires. The Gli at least comes with a limited slip. I’m telling you, trade that shit in, get a 2.0 ANYTHING ELSE, even it’s an Audi. New 1.8s are nothing but trouble, even in the golf.
Get the Gli, at least with a stage 1 plus or whatever, exhaust, downpipe, intake, you’ll make at least 270 something off the bat. If it’s dsg - dq250 ( the newer tiptronic) there’s plenty of service for it out there, if you get it stick it can always be upgraded but clutch service is expensive, though not as expensive are upgrading/replacing dsg. I cannot warn you enough... do not build on the 2014 1.8, it is a headache. Not impossible cus I’ve done it somewhat but the results are iffy. Trade that shit in while it’s still low mileage bro.

Hey Arseny a while back I installed a traction control button on my mk6 jetta, a must if you ask me lol, but whenever id do burnouts on dry pavement wheelhop was awful, I just put a spulen dog bone mount in today with the polyurethane insert (as well rs7 plugs and rs3 coils), but the dog bone made burnouts👌👌👌. Not sure if the mk6.5s come with a traction control button stock or not but ecs probably has a kit for your car too.
do you have to wire in auto headlights and rear fogs with the euro switch or how does that work i have the stock halogen and with that will it make the headlights turn on automatically at night and i have led drls with they come on in auto

They should all be the Same leather seats for non-GLI Jettas with the exception of 2011-2013 years. Those years are more pleather, not real leather. 2015-2017 jetta seats are real leather.

I've been in contact with people who spoke with unitronic directly, they said they are never releasing a stage 3 software option for the 1.8. custom tune is about the only option at this point I've been trying to get a hold of malone tuning to see if they can help.

I do a little bit, but it’s actually the plastic shield underneath the front bumper that rubs going Over big dips, because the shocks bottom out. It wasn’t like that right away after install, my stock shocks are just staring to blow. I’m getting bilstein B8 shocks which should fix the issue.

I’m getting the intercooler next, and exhaust last. I personally don’t really like super loud exhaust, I like more of a sleeper feel while cruising and mainly turbo noises when giving it full throttle. I might consider the CTS turbo 3 inch exhaust

True but I have a 2014 gli edition 30 and have cts bov downpipe throttle pipe discharge pipe rs3 coil packs with plugs stage 2 unitronic and like you I did all the work myself. Bov took me a lot longer than you though. I gave up twice. But love your car. Where I'm from there's not much be love
Why would you mount the license plate to the side when you already have holes in the bumper? First off the holes already drilled in the bump. Second it look stupid offset to the side! I guess once a ricer always a ricer!

yeah I had to add rings myself a few weeks ago that stopped the vibrating i was getting at 65-70 mph , but now i get a slight vibration when i hit around 80mph think my alignment might be slightly off possibly?? Got the car little over a year ago so who knows last time it had one done but it doesn't seem to pull to the left or right.

You should get throttle pipe and discharge pipes from cts turbo. Faster spool. I have unitronic stage 2. Cts also has a big turbo for gen 3

It was a pain. But We got it off with a combination of different extensions and swivel sockets
