I got to see Pantera, Slayer, and Ozzy in Tacoma WA when i was stationed at Ft. Lewis!! Tried to go AWOL and get on the bus with Vinnie lmao
Dimebag would laugh is ass off if you called him dirtbag. He would share his last beer with you and make you feel like you weren't hanging out with the greatest guitar player ever. Let you crash at his home then he would throw fireworks while you your sleeping , give you a shot of whiskey and let you sleep some more. After all that he would make sure get home safe. He beefed with nobody. 100% good time is what Dimebag was always about. Truly tragic what happened to him.

I saw them in NY when I was 19 I'm 52 now and Im telling you Dimebag was one of the nicest people you could ever meet hands down but he was the most ruthless guitarist's I've ever heard this brother was on some you ain't ready this type of guitar playing!!! I miss him so much

Notice Pantera feels the energy of the crowd chanting at the breakdown part and they alter the timing/tempo of the breakdown slightly to synchronize with the crowd. Absolutely incredible moment.
Mouth For War, Slaughtered & This Love are great Pantera options. You can’t go wrong though since they have ZERO weak songs
" This Love" Is very underrated in my opinion, one of their best

@@adamgilmore7081 yes it did. He had an extreme case of divebombs and pulling back on the bar though won't stay in tune forever. That's why you have a guitar tech I guess though.

I used to have a dime signature model, not even the top of the line one, you could TORTURE the whammy bar and the guitar would stay in tune. Unlike my stratocaster that goes out of tune if you look at the whammy bar

Man your reaction here takes me back to the first time I heard Pantera back in 2001 when I was 15. Loved them ever since. Listen to them when I work out and even listened to Cowboys From Hell today as it's the 30th anniversary of that album being released which just blows my mind how fast time is moving.

I think this was just Pantera. The crowds were like that back then because it was right after the fall of the Soviet Union. They couldn't do that before.

Not at this concert, but I've seen them live a few times. They're from my hometown. I actually had a studio in the same center with them at one time.
