Amy I do the same thing 🤣 I declutter and my 12, 9 and 5 year old gets a lot of my stuff. I use to give them to friends, but my friends don't really wear makeup so that was a waste of time 🤣 my mom wears makeup, but she won't wear her expensive stuff for some odd reason 😑 I sell my expensive stuff, but my drugstore or more affordable makeup goes to my daughter's
Beautiful collection. You got rid of a lot. Mostly what you don’t use or haven’t touched in a while. So that seems like a good declutter to me. Also it gives you room to grow, if you wish to.
Declutters are hard for me. For me, I keep palettes I haven’t used in my top vanity for about 2 weeks. If I don’t have interest using certain palettes, I will say good bye. How many palettes did you actually have to start out with? Wish I had counted. lol. 46 palettes gone seems like a lot, but you did have a bunch of drawers so I’m thinking 200 maybe? I have 118 and over 80 aren’t even touched. 😬 I’m a palette girl too. 😝

Hey Morgan, I have a question and I think you are the perfect person to answer it. I am trying to get into wearing makeup again. I want to get one or two eye palettes , nothing crazy as far as colors and nothing too expensive. I saw you mention Profusion and I really like their color combos but I dont mind paying more for something that will be easy to use and last all day. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hey Lisa! Profusion is a great option if you are wanting more shades for the price. The more palettes I try from them, the more misses I get though. I think they are more hit or miss than I originally thought. If you can find a good one though, I really love their eyeshadows! I have also really enjoyed the two palettes I have tried from Essence as well (Be You Tiful and Bonjour Montreal)! Otherwise, I would recommend the Tartelette in Bloom palette or one of the Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palettes. If you are wanting single shadows to pick your own colors, Give Me Glow Cosmetics formula is incredible! They have palettes too, but I'm not usually drawn to the colors they put together. I hope that helps!

I remember when I had a small, Sometimes I'd see declutters, and I wished I could buy some of the items they are decluttering. My issue with the 6 pan Pat McGrath palettes is that there arent enough mattes. They have like 1 matte...and the rest are shimmers.
