Anna annanymous I’ve heard they had to put an expiration date on their products, for legal reasons. So if anything happens to you because of a palette that’s older than 2 years, you can’t blame the company.
So unfortunately I am not selling any of the palettes in this video. They are set to be donated or given away locally. Unless they are actually expired like a few were in the video those are going in the bin since I don’t want to giveaway expired makeup. I’m sorry! 💕
Because of sanitary reason, they won't take it, in Canada at least. They only take unused ones. I give mine to women on the streets with a mini care package. I use my Ipsy bags. It's cuter.

Lots of native English-speakers don't even care 🤷♀️
Love your collection. Declutering videos are my favorite. The blood money palette is a classic and I use that one so much and I didn’t think I wouldn’t use that as much as I do either.
Nice declutter. I have the original Naked palette, got it around the time it launched, it smells fine, works great, and doesn't irritate my eyes. I'll keep it forever, even if I eventually stop using it, since it was a gift. I tend to go by how well they perform as opposed to how old they are, since they're not cheap.

My only complain though is please, do not think or say that because a palette is limited edition people will not be able to buy it and recreate the look, so you should get rid of it. On the opposite, it’s interesting to see the makeup actually being used (even when it’s not sold anymore) and as makeup lovers we can always dupe the vibe of most eyeshadow palettes with the rest of our collection!
I have the Gemini palette and the Smoke Sessions and both are great, no problems , and I've had them since 2018-Gemini and 2019-Smoke. I hear about exploding shadows so I check them often just to make sure. Maybe it has to do with storage, I keep mine in a drawer in my vanity, away from any heat. ??
I bought my smoke sessions during the early release when it first launched and never had any problems with it, same with my gemini. It makes me believe climate was a factor in the issues they had.
Hello love im new to your channel and I enjoy you. Yes I know this is an old video I just wanted to share a tip for cleaning pallets. Put a make up wipe over a flat powder with a flat bottom. You can glide it over all the shadows and not get them wet. Helps clean it up💜

i think the best way to declutter palettes is to open all of them and get rid of the ones that have the most repeted shades. why keep so many neutral palettes that have the same exact shades?
I bought my Smoke Sessions on April 20th 2019 relaunch and it's still very good : the shadows haven't burst out of their pan, so I think they change something !

Sometimes I just slap one of the golds all over my lid and call it a day 👌 I get a lot of complements when I use it 💚 if you like Gemini it's a good companion palette. And if you feel like some dramatic looks and crazy green smokeys, it's the palette you need :D
My smoke sessions palette did the exact same thing as yours. I would leave it laid flat in my drawer and not use it for a couple of days and there’d STILL magically be escaped shadow all over the place I was losing SOOOO much product while not using it. The mess was insane I ended up getting rid of mine because the shimmer particles were invading other palettes at the end
On the side, I hope you are able to fix the smoke sessions palette. I almost bought it when it first came out just because it is so gorgeous, but it had been sold out... and then I started getting all these palettes from ipsy and boxycharm, that I didn't feel I should use my money to buy yet another palette separately. With those issues, I guess it's a good thing I forgot about it.
I got my smoke sessions this spring and all the golden shimmers on the left side are so hard pressed it has no pigmentation that comes off when swatching and trying to use with a brush is impossible. They got hard pan immediately. Basically the whole left side is unusable.
For things like mascara/eyeliner/lip/foundations/concealers/primers ect. The wet stuff I am usually pretty good t getting rid of them on time, but as long as powders like blush/eyeshadows/setting powders ect. I don’t really follow the shelf life, I’ve never had a problem with keeping powders and I doubt I’ll be able to finish a eyeshadow palette/blush in a year or two given how many I have
Just letting you know with colour pop palettes you can pop out the shades so you could always pop out the brown you didn’t like in sweet talk and replace it with a different single :)
Repanning is really not that hard. It's gonna take you less that han half an hour. Just make sure you have a clean clear working space, a shirt you're never going to wear, rubbing alcohol, tissues and a penny

But I am on a no buy for a year to use up my gorgeous makeup , all my subscription boxes cancelled instead I subscribe to a pyjama box ! I love to use my treasures now best thing l have every done . (If I had to guess I would say Moon Dust palette). Love your video. I just decluttered 16 of my palettes to a friend plus a full face of makeup like blushes and powders. It was all I had not reached for in over a year and I would hate to waste anything. Now I have everything I love. Not buying this year. I have Boxycharm so won't need to unless it is a treat. lol

Kelsey Girl I know it’s not on his site anymore. I like mine. The glitters are a bit chunky, but I like it that way. Most colors apply like a dream. There is one that took some building. If you like the colors and want to complete his set, then it’s worth getting. I love mine for summer. You may be able to dupe the colors but it would take several palettes. Check BeautyBay or beautylish. Watch a few other reviews too. Not everyone loves it, but I think those of us not getting PR think it’s a lot of fun. Very good for newbies- just don’t let the glitter frustrate you. I wouldn’t pay more than $42 for it, unless you really love it. I hope this helps you. Blessings!
My friend had the same problem with her Smoke Sessions palette anf she reached out to Melt and they sent her a replacement no questions asked. I highly suggest reachinh out to their customer service and see what they can do. That palette is way to expensive to have so many issues so soon.

My smoke sessions palette is still perfect. I bought it in June. Never had the issue others have had. And I have Gemini and 27 too.

If you like the colors and want to complete his set, then it’s worth getting. I love mine for summer. You may be able to dupe the colors but it would take several palettes. Check BeautyBay or beautylish. Watch a few other reviews too. Not everyone loves it, but I think those of us not getting PR think it’s a lot of fun. Very good for newbies- just don’t let the glitter frustrate you.
I wouldn’t pay more than $42 for it, unless you really love it.

My friend had the same problem with her Smoke Sessions palette anf she reached out to Melt and they sent her a replacement no questions asked. I highly suggest reachinh out to their customer service and see what they can do. That palette is way to expensive to have so many issues so soon.
