DiRT Rally: Group B 5th Gear Challenge

The Challenge: To Accelerate to 5th Gear, and then keep it in 5th as long as possible. Obviously this wouldn't be flat out as it would be neigh impossible with a controller.

@@chawza8402 granted, the Audi Sport quattro does like to test your abilities and it doesn't help with its understeer, but it's a skill machine to practice overcoming its flaws by initiating different techniques, such as longitudinal weight shifting, Scandinavian Flicking, left foot braking and so on.
Try and really feel for the car. What I've learned is that when am trying to learn the car, going fast is not the priority; all I care about is finishing the stage in one piece. Then, get to grips in "feeling" how the car is under different circumstances, such as power sliding, how it takes corners, how responsive it is, etc. Then, when you feel more confident, push the car harder but acknowledge mistakes and use them as a learning curve. In DiRT Rally 2.0, I couldn't get used to the Sport quattro S1 E2, but after I did what I mentioned, I held a world record time at Perth and Kinross in Scotland until I eventually was beaten by a Ford RS200.
