Thanks for look see Dirk kinda partial to ZT right now since I just picked up 0562ti. Artisan Arion has peaked my internet lately titanium version looks pretty sweet

At least they are trying. Not really a design I’m drawn to either but there aren’t many knives that size that are that light weight. I personally don’t care about the weight but many people prefer that. I still hope that ZT will bring back some of the custom knife maker designs. That is what I really enjoyed from them

Totally agree. Also weight doesn’t bother me at all really.

I see some Begg knives influence in the overall look. I actually think it looks pretty good. Nice color combination.

Now that you mention it I see some Begg in it also.

I think it looks like a carbon fiber turd. Carbon Fiber, yes. But still a turd with blue chunks of corn. And it's well $125 overpriced. That little Circle / Empire symbol on the blade means it's a "original KAI in house design". ZT's originals tend to not be so original at all haha. I third that observation..

Good looking knife. I like the blue and carbon fiber combo. Great review 👍

I dig the blade and the carbon fiber, but the handle shape seems off somehow. Interesting.

I feel like this would have been better as a liner lock, so that it would be (more) symmetrical and they could drop the 2nd detent ball.

I think it a a pretty cool design.

Not my niche either Mr. Werner. I own a large collection of knives with a wide range of prices, Hinderer, Medford, Microtech... Even a Marfione custom, (it's a friggin' disease). But the knife I usually carry is the Spyderco Endella, (I know!). For the price, you can't (IMHO) beat the performance. If she gets dull, strop 'er up a bit and you're off. You asked what knife you should get, there ya go, (if you haven't had it already). Thanks for posting Dirk!

Agreed this is not really my cup of tea either but I like to show ALL the knives in all the price ranges.

This is the ZT upgraded, collector edition, to the Spyderco Chef. I say “collector edition” because of those cut outs. It doesn’t lend themselves to edc use for the design purpose.

I don't understand where ZT is going. These new designs just don't work for me and probably a lot of other people also

Not my cup of tea either but I can easily see why it would be for others...

The 'ol .. "wiener in the jelly jar" trickery. Classic ! Dirk comin in with that overpriced "Tuned Detend System" 0762.. sadly ZT usually only hits the ball out of the ballpark with collaboration designed knives, I've noticed.

Forget the rambling disclaimers, just review the knife.

I gotta set the stage sometimes is all. Can’t just give specs and size comparison and be out. That’s no fun and you could get all that from Google.
