You can detach the pop filter with out it breaking. You can also rotate the mic to a different position on the stand using the nob located on the shock mount.
I did eventually get the pop filter off, however it is very snug on there so it feels as if you'll break it. Also I did not realize it could swizzle. Thank you for sharing that definitely helps!
@@AskCory I got the pop filter off within seconds of trying, by turning it upside down and pushing from the bottom. Not real hard to avoid breaking it.
I tried not to be too hard on the build quality of the mic given the insanely low price. At this price point I think what we should focus most on is the sound it can produce and I was honestly impressed! PS: I did eventually get the pop filter off. It just took a little more effort than I would hope. ALSO the metal pin at the end of the boom arm does have an ability to swivel so you can adjust the mic to face directly at you. I was looking for a video that could help me with this mic's settings. Unfortunately I can't have it close to my mouth since I don't have a boom arm.. It keeps detecting my keyboard sounds and even distant sounds, and I have to leave the volume at mid/high because it is not completely close to my mouth. Also, I'll definitely have to fix this for streaming
hi i love how detailed this video is ! i do have a question, i wanted to get this mic to use with a sound card but i noticed most sound cards don’t have a USB port . is there a way to use this mic with a USBC to aux adapter maybe ? or what other option would there be
We're afraid that it's because USB microphones are made to get rid of the external sound card. The point of USB mics is to make recording audio easier, so what comes out of the USB connector is a digital signal that can be accepted by a computer, without the conversion of an audio interface. While interfaces are designed to work with XLR mics that output analog signals. It doesn't make sense to get a USB mic to work on an interface with adapters. Besides, USB mics need 5V power while interfaces provide 48V.
Any troubleshooting for the mics led not turning off when I mute it? I can never tell when I’m muted, I’m not sure if it’s just faulty or what but it gets annoying.
sound-wise is fifine T732 sounds better than this? Actually that tap to mute functionality does seems good, but it is not present in T732 & i just ordered it, if their audio quality is somewhat same then i may order this one shown in the video
does this come with the boom arm adapter screw thing? sorry im not to sure what the correct term is but i saw another review and the guy said his didnt come with it anyways nice vid !
Game streamers may speak loudly due to the excitement of the game. You may get terrible sound if you use a highly sensitive microphone. This microphone has medium sensitivity to keep your voice clear but with no distortion. But if your use environment is quite noisy, a dynamic mic can be an even more suited option.
Do these microphones have sidetone? does anyone know if USB standalone mics can have side tone at all? i am currently using Corsair HS70s with the iCUE software that enables sidetone and do not want to give up the luxury, can anyone help out?
This mic doesn't have a monitoring function for you to hear yourself. But you can check out the A8, which has a 3.5mm monitoring port to hear yourself.
@@WuskiPlayzz Yes, but Microsoft doesn't allow USB mics to input audio into their console but through the 3.5mm jack on the controller. So you have to get a USB mic with a headphone jack to output audio to the controller. It's quite a tricky method to get a USB mic to work. So it's just better not to use USB mics or not to buy a USB mic for Xbox in the first place.
