Hell you gotta come back to Nepal you know why because you gotta fly Himalayan airlines go to lukla fly the new international airport so many things
Did you ask them to reboot the flight entertainment system?
I know that the work you do it's not be been partial, but, what you think about my country's airlaner?C'mom mate,we know it's our Africa
Hi Josh...my name is Josh also...thanks for having this kind of vlog that is related in traveling...I love watching this because you are always riding on a plane and explaining what's inside the plane...I hope you could also try to ride our plane here in the philippines...
How long do you stay in each country on average? I'm curious have you always preferred ultra short stays in the places you visit or do you need to fly more frequently to put out RUclips videos?
This man would go on a plane without a wing, and still fly in it and be happy.
😂😂👌
👍👍👍👍👍🚀
Unless it’s Lufthansa
So true 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
You are not only honest but respectful. A big fan I am,keep it up.
I really have to say that your videos help me a lot to fight my panic of flying. I watch all of your videos before my first ever flight alone in November 2021 from Zürich to Phuket. I choose to life abroad and after I booked this flight there was no way of return. Than I found your channel!! Thanks for your work. And thanks for your help!!
I am like you. When I see the minor turbulence, well, slight shaking, in this video, I am thinking that I'd already be in panic mode here, all blinds up and focused. It is therapeutic to see Josh so relaxed, talking and smiling. Just to see there is another way of responding to turbulence and that it is always fine
Lisbon Airport is lucky to see these rare Boeing 777 every day 😃
Rare?
@@davidknox5929 TAAG is rare in Europe! I think 🤔
They also get Emirates’ 777 everyday!
rare airline but 777-300er is the most common wide body in the world
@@aseem7w9 yes! I was referring to the airline
I use this airline 4 times a year to and from SA to Angola. They offer professional service and the aircrew are friendly and get on with their job, no complaints. I understand the major aircraft maintenance is done in Lisbon. I will continue to use them in the future as well. Their service compare well with all other international carriers
Appreciate your love for the African continent Josh
Josh, would you please include some reviews for people with disabilities. I'm in a wheelchair. Love your videos and thank you for enlightening us. Blessings.
Would be a bit hard considering he isn’t disabled

It's hard to review an airline for the handicap service since it depends completely on the airport's transporter service, most are a third party contracted by either the airport.
The only thing I can probably rate the airline on is the boarding process- I've had flights where a pilot comes out to assist, but it's usually the gate agent and very rarely its one of the transporter agents.
I've been at airports that the transporter service is very good with transporters taking you to baggage claim, assisting with your bags, taking you to the pickup area, and staying until your ride pulls up or you tell them to go. I've been to others where I was forgotten and had the airline manager get involved after the transporter service left me at the gate that I saw my arrival flight completely deplane and the turnaround flight completely board a full flight. Meanwhile, i had transfer transports that were so smooth it was impressive (DFW and PHL). PHL was long from the F gates to A gates involving various wheelchairs, elevators, busses, and carts and the same goes with DFW.
He just needs the money from RUclips. Won’t respond
I would asap assist You if you were seated next.. have loads of happy Hours Dear.😍
Hey Josh! you are one of the youtubers that I look up to and got me to start my own channel!! cheers from the Philippines!!
I've flown TAAG from Cape Town via Luanda to Lisbon (and back) and Sao Paolo (and back) a few years ago - then the 777-300's were much newer and in generally good working condition, there were blankets and pillows, and decent-enough food (not the greatest), at a great price and great convenience (easiest way to get to Lisbon from Cape Town, for sure). It was their generous 3-3-3 layout in economy with nice legroom that made is really comfortable though, so it was easy to gloss over issues such as the food, and the occasional screen not working - one could sleep in relative comfort as there was s p a c e! Luanda is not a great airport in any way - although coming down the stairs next to that 777 is awesome, but it's acceptable enough. With more crowds it was a bit chaotic though - but more fun that way. Josh' review shows that the airline must have been badly hit by covid restrictions - cutting back on amenities, and probably saving on not having to pay license fees for movies, but glad to hear the food was better (it looked better than what I had), and that the crew were good. I absolutely love the orange livery on their planes - so nice and bold in a world of Euro-white! Even with the experience Josh had I would fly them again, that's for sure! I hope with the new airport coming along that TAAG will establish themselves as a strong role player in the region, as for many destinations they are simply more convenient than the usual middle-east candidates.
These are my favourite comments, comprehensive, constructive and informative. Thanks for taking the time to contribute to this video :) - I do agree that overall, given the price I paid, it was a good flight!
@@JoshCahill On the way back from Santiago de Chile, via Sao Paolo, because the flights were on individual tickets we had to go through customs at Sao Paolo and check in - there my father, who only has South African residency and an Austrian passport, was flagged because he did not have a yellow fever certificate - although we were nowhere near any yellow fever area, and were for all intents and purposes just transiting. But, South Africa said, no yellow fever certificate, no entry, for foreigners... My wife and I have South African passports, so that wasn't an issue. The ground crew tried their best, but it was just not possible, and we were denied boarding - we then went up to the TAAG office and talked a lot more, but nothing could be done. So I cancelled the tickets, to get the refund and try something else. That done we walked out, and then halfway down the hall a TAAG representative ran after us and called us back: the cancellation of 3 tickets two hours before flight, with the passengers at the airport, must have triggered some alarm bell in their system, and we were allowed on after all. The TAAG ground crew, and a friendly Brazilian businessman who saw our dismay and helped us, were all totally supportive and did their utmost to get us on the plane - really amazing. I had to do some more fancy talking in Luanda (it was not as if my father could be sent back to Europe - he also lives in Cape Town and has for the last 30+ years), but we got onto the flight to Cape Town as well. And in Cape Town? Nobody interested in yellow fever certificates!
One of my more exciting and challenging return trips, but hats off to the ground crew in Sao Paolo, they really helped us. And it was a great flight back.
@@guidoz1747 Guido , actually I am planning to fly from Sao Paulo to Cape town but I am not quite sure about which airline is better between Ethiopian and this ?
Thanks by the way
@@elvissoto7335 Hi Elvis: not having flown Ethiopian myself I cannot compare directly, but accounts from friends and reviews give the impression that in terms of service and food it will be quite a bit better than TAAG. The downside, it seems, is Addis Ababa airport, which friends said is chaotic and not much fun. Luanda isn't great, but it's a small airport and the layover is short.
The big question is the tradeoff between lesser quality vs. significantly longer travel time - with Ethiopian you fly right over Africa, only to fly it back to reach Cape Town! Unfortunately the good ol' days of direct flights from Cape Town to South America (Malaysian was great!) are over, so one has to always overshoot the target when coming to Cape Town. Weird.
@@guidoz1747 furtonately they're coming back. LATAM will have direct flights from sao paulo to joburg and soon enough SAA should have too
As a angolan citizen, that flag airline unfortunately is demo as our instutitions work or (sometimes) doesn't, for 1 reason: not much interest or attention given. 😭😭 We had everything to be on top of Africa Airlines. We had on the past some mergers or help (let put it this way) but all them (PT, EK) gave up because the Admins Execs. were receiving order to not invest much on the company because the Gov. said didn't have much money to invest... But it wasn't just a problem of money. 😒😒😒 I personally doesn't fly our flag carrier just to avoid dramas and traumas.
The point is, if I am compentent profissional in what I do, I expect them to be as serious as I am in my job...
A Taag é terrivel. Já peguei até barata na cabine. BARATA! Eu prefiro viajar pela LATAM até Joanesburgo e em seguida ir para Luanda do que pegar um voo direto. O que salva é que as aeromoças são hiper simpáticas.
As Angolan too I totally agree with you. Rude crew with total disregard of customer requests especially when the customer is local, poor meal selection and sometimes in long haul trips, the entertainment system doesn’t work etc… to sum it up TAAG has multiple issues and they could have been on top if they were just efficient. Flying domestically is just an horror show. No respect to customer mainly the popular Luanda to Cabinda route. É pena ver está companhia de bandeira nacional cada vez pior q antes. Eu pessoalmente só voa a TAAG quando não tenho outra opção.
Thanks for Inspiring an African RUclipsr like me
I once flew their 747-800 from Cape Town to Angola to do a fashion show. We all got snuck into business class, and it was these huge round seating pods. This was around 2009 or so.
I grew up looking those TAAG planes taking off and landing, almost 25 years ,my country, thanks a lot mate
Keep up the honest good work Josh!
have to admit I do enjoy watching your stream and Noel Phillips as well ,so always looking forward to the next one,so keep up the good work Mr Josh Cahill
Wish you did a review when TAAG was flying the IL-62.
To me, that airline, aircraft, cabin feature and mood lighting were quite frugal and well-done for such interior was very neat and eye-comfort. Honestly I love 777 birds as well, spacious, big and handsome cockpit facade.
Josh, love your reviews as always. Yours are the ONLY airlines reviews I fully trust! But I've noticed you often times don't show the full meal tray and explain what has been provided on it or drinks when you do economy class meal comments. Please show everything and critique everything on the tray offered and options available. It would be nice to see the product airlines have to offer. I often chose airlines because of the meal and drink service provided especially when flying economy class. Thanks!
Its nice to see you flying airlines that aren't quite popular to review.
I can't wait for the Air Zimbabwe flight video.
Keep up the good work as always.
Noel is an absolute charm and look forward to both of u in your upcoming reviews.😃
love your review of the crew in all the videos, i think the crew makes the difference on most flight as the hard product usually is quite the same nowadays.
Good video Josh.
Nice reviews on an airline you don't hear much about. I love listening to your reviews.
I can guess who you were collaborating with next. Tbh just you by yourself are great to listen to. You are really relaxing and calming to listen to , the other one is much less so.
Keep up the great work Josh.
Very informal video. You got my sub! 👍🏾👍🏾
Great review,
Thanks
Thanks. Can't wait for next weeks video.
wow! Great video! 😃😃😃😃
I really enjoy watching your videos they really help and you just make my day better, thank you!
Love your channel Josh!
Like the 3-3-3 seating in eco.Good job
Thanks for this vlog. Safe travels. You have an amazing day! Ciao.
Hello Josh. I love when you do these reviews of exotic airlines! Keep flying!!! :). BIG FAN
Welcome back to Africa my dearest Josh, please do enjoy your trip
I saw you in the video with Mr. Noel and had to come on over to your channel! Consider me a subscriber. Safe travels man!
Thank you Josh, love your reviews
Good on you a good viedo. You did a great job by giving us a review of this airlines
Interesting information about Africa and flying from city to city's.
I so love your travels Josh such an inspiration, please consider reviewing air Botswana Embraer E190
My husband just recently flew on Qatar to Durbin South Africa from Dallas Texas. He was in the air for well over 24 hours total. He said Qatar was awesome 😎 and the business class was super nice 😊
Nice one Josh. Stay safe. Mick.
Good review 😊😊
Thank you very nice video.👑
🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬from Nigeria it good you are arriving around Africa..keep the good work..love what you do...
I am not surprised!
Yeay,Kau Telah Membuat video barumu.
Welcome back to South Africa Josh....hope to meet you someday
Transited through Luanda last April, and no it was not as smooth as you. We had to go through the testing hangars before accessing the terminal.
I won’t spoil it for anyone (though I’m sure they already know who it is). Looking forward to your Jo-Berg travels.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video.
I know who you are meeting up with and I'm excited to see the video!
Air Zim ? Good luck, welcome to South Africa. A trip over the falls is nice , not sure how much water there is 😞
Down here in East London , more than welcome to visit .
Your video's always make my day.
felt like you had a hangover in this vlog.
always so nice to see your African adventures. :)
Josh you are amazing
I am actually really happy that the business class upgrade didn't work out. I am doing my semester abroad in South Africa soon, flying from Lisbon by TAAG. So now I can exactly watch how the flight is going to be and also my mother will be (hopefully) less panicky to fly with an "unknown airline".
Be sure to wear a mask and put a drop or two of essential oils on the inside of it to hide the 'smell' of the African passengers as their known not to have good personal hygiene habits to say the VERY least.
@@truthteller8459 Whats “African Passengers” supposed to mean? Thats rather discriminatory and stereotypical. Watch your wording, what you’re saying is very rude and stupid. Watch yourself
@@watershed44 ARE YOU OKAY MATE?! You are literally categorizing all African people as smelly and unhygienic. What stupid truth is that?! First off, stop being fed stupid information by the western media. 2nd off, you have probably never been to Africa so don’t say anything as if you live on this continent. 3rd off, your white mentality(or whatever race you are) must stop with immediate effect. You’re very stereotypical to agree with the above comment. You’re plainly just trying to say that white passengers “European people” smell great while black people “African people “ dont. Mate, grow tf up, dont tell me that I don’t like the truth being told, what fucking truth besides your stereotypical attitude and racism?
@@truthteller8459 racist your life must be very sad
I like how TAGG added the movie TAG.
Good job
We love adventure in AFRICA
TAAG is like MPLA . The owners are the same, therefore expect the same treatment and results. TAAG made me crying many times. It’s so embarrassing with TAAG.
Wish we had that kind of breakfast on similar flights in Europe... But they need to do some improvements with the seats and entertainment system on longhaul
The TAAG logo is liable to give one nightmares. 👹
Thanks for flying on the airlines that I would never intentionally use.
I love your videos.
I love your content
I guess you will be linking up with Noel in Joburg. He did mention that he will be meeting up with a special guest.
Hey Josh, thanks for risking your life for us, kidding, always another banger flying on these exotic airlines!
Hey Josh, sorry for the bad experience with our airline but they are improving and I hope you’ll get another wonderful experience in the following years 🫶🏼
Good video
Yep, the loo reviews are sooo helpful for disabled individuals. If you could show the width of the door to the loo when you shoot the loo review that would be even better. Great videos!
I like the video so much Josh I watch your videos all the time
The things you pointed out that were not functional are important to travellers. Hopefully the airline will take note and do repairs. Flying is stressful enough without getting aboard an airplane that has a dirty loo and the entertainment system is not operational. Once again a shout out to you for mentioning the cabin crew member who gave you a blanket. Safe travels.
I was about to ask you why didn’t you record a video of your trip to Angola, but once I entered RUclips, it was the first video on my reel ✌️hope you have better experience with them the next time around … in case there’s another time around 🙃 the last time I flew with them was in 2020, before the pandemic and they didn’t give us any pillows and blankets, either, and yeah, the entertainment system wasn’t working , quite frustrating, but on my return to Portugal, everything went smoothly.
Thanks!
You and Noel Phillips on the same flight interesting 🤨
@16.33 looks like an antonov 72/74. Have a look at the coanda effect...
Wow ,thank you for this honest review and you keep making me know bout airlines I don’t even know existed 😂
if Josh is this happy with the 777-300 er then think how much he will be when he tries a 777x!!!
Would you consider doing a Jetstar review?its an Australian airline and not the most luxury and I’d like to see your take on it as I have been on it many times
Please come to durban ,would love for you to visit and try our local aircrafts 🙂❤️
Love you Josh
I guess tag airline does not invest in their inflight entertainment. the 2nd plane offered some character with the run down interior..thanks for taking us along
Great stuff Josh. When will you be heading Down Under?
TAAG has very recent aircraft but maintenance is subpar. Then most of them were maintained in Portugal
Loverly to see this journey, just a shame about the state of the second plane.
I am looking forward for your next adventure with Noel? Probably? Yes, I guess. It should be fantastic!
Another Noel Phillips link up??? Yes please!!!!
TAAG has killer deals from Cpt to Lis and Mad. I might have to fly them soon, much more direct than Qatar.
Looking forward to a few Noel Phillips colabs!
Josh ure awesome.
I miss the old plane smell when all the seats looked like that and sometimes I was even on a DC 10 and even once an L-1011
How nice you get to travel a few days with your favorite youtuber. Sam Chui is a great and genuine creator maybe you learn a thing or two from him😝
Hi Josh, i really love your reviews of Airlines that are not very common. But i really would love some reviews of flying with German/European Airlines in this summer. I booked a flight from Vienna, Austria to Cologne, Germany 2 weeks ago. And both flights got canceled and rescheduled. The rebookings hit my timetable so hard, that i had to cancel my trip to Germany. I know it would be a hard job for you, but it would be cool to see how a frequent flyer would handle this kind of situations and what tips he would have to get a compensation or how to handle this.
Great video as always Josh. If you are doing a collaboration with Noel have a quiet word with him about the amount of times he repeats himself with aircraft type and destination! 😂😂😂
Holy snap you're coming to Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 😲 omg eeeeeeeekkkkk💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
I’m ready for the new A220s they have on order!
You See this Airlines Are also very nice and Staff can be also outstanding Of You do Not expect it. I am impressed how good it was Organized during covid
Hi Josh😀😀
Very safe 👍
You visited the world worst airport, Lisbon airport. Hope you had a better experience than most of us!
Regards from Lisbon!
With the overhead reading lights not working, I wonder if the oxygen masks are
